I could not be happier with my experience the Westminster location! I bought the 2 week unlimited use client promotion and it has been amazing !! The infrared sauna, followed by the red light therapy has made a significant improvement in my psoriasis condition and psoriatic arthritis pain. I have been coming here for several months now. The venue is clean and spacious, the sauna is really hot. The customer service has been consistently great, but especially Cassidy. I've had a premium membership here for 3 years and I don't know if management has changed or what but this place doesn't seem to want to maintain there beds anymore. My biggest complaint is when a bed breaks it does not get repaired in a timely manner which then limits your access to beds. The purpose of premium is so that you have an opportunity to tan in the safest beds. Now with broken beds you're limited to 1 tanning bed which sometimes can be quite a wait. Come on do better or refund partial membership fees On the other hand the girls that run the front desk are always amazing and pleasant to talk to but unfortunately they are not informed of the status of the tanning beds read more

I love UCATAN! Bailie is especially friendly and knowledgeable. The tanning lotion that she suggested is amazing. I feel so comfortable tanning at UCATAN because they are very careful about social distancing, wearing masks and keeping their establishment extremely clean. I highly recommend this place if you want a perfect tan. Between all the different tanning beds, booths, and spray tan booth I am beautifully bronzed and completely satisfied with my tan! I like this place so much that I pay the monthly subscription membership fee and can go every day if I wish. read more

I love UCATAN. I used to go to a different dry sauna and thought Id try UCATAN... I love it and the bonus is its less expensive and includes the Red Light Bed. I try to go at least 3x per week. I fluctuate from the Westminster to the HB location. Out of all the times I've been, there is one employee that stands out to me... Bailie! She is ALWAYS on the ball! She is always doing something... cleaning, helping customers, etc. I usually see employees on the phone when I walk in... not when Bailie is working... she is always on point ready to greet! The other thing that stands out with her is she doesn't ever make the customer wait... she is a multi-tasker... she gets you in your room while helping a new customer sign up instead of making me wait 10 minutes while she finishes up. In other words, Bailie values other peoples time and uses her own wisely. read more

So it's been 15 days since I signed up here and I look like it's the middle of summer and I've been working on my tan for months. Thanks U-CA-TAN! I can wear shorts now and not fear blinding people with my whiteness. A few thoughts: -There is a right way to wear the eyewear. It took me a few times to realize they didn't feel right because they were on upside down. Drrr. -I don't know how they manage to play music that I always enjoy. They have some good music in there. -Your new finger scanning system freaks me out a little. Big brother! Ah! -Their lotions are a ripoff. Walk over to Ulta across the street and get some for half the price. -The beds are always sanitized and they always provide a clean towel. -Their "super" beds are crazy. The thing talks to you. It's some futuristic craziness (see photo of the super bed). -The staff is always friendly. Today is the first day of Spring. YAY! Come on summer! read more

I've been tanning on and off with U Ca Tan for years; towards the end of high school was when I discovered this same location in HB! I've been using the same bed as well, the magnum, bed #9. The cool thing about the higher quality beds is that they use UVA not UVB, which ultimately makes a huge difference in terms of getting actually tanned versus really burned. The front desk girls are always superb, helpful and honest!! I highly recommend this tanning salon to very single one of my friends who are always looking for a good base tan. The single tans may seem a little more expensive, but they always have promotions or deals on their huge selection of packages that it ends up being about $13 a tan instead of $25 or $30. The best day to come in would be their ($10 + tax so really) $11 SUNDAYS!!!! read more

This place ... is horrible. When you decide to be open and try out a new tannning spot ... regrets. My first time here and my experience was so bad. Especially with the front desk girl... she was so rude I couldn't even look at her while she was talking to me. Not welcoming at all and has a ugly attitude. I was explaining about which spray tan I usually get at my other place and she was talking back to me like I was dumb. Maybe she should start listening instead of cutting me off every time I said something so she can give me something similar. Do not try the mystic fan.. you do turn out orange and blotchy. On top of that it's $45 for a spray?! I only paid $35 at the Tan Spa (with versa spray) Go to The Tan Spa is you're in the area. You'll have a better experience and a better tan. Had no been to a tanning place in over four years and after not having much a summer due to the work schedule decided to go check out UCATAN. I got to say Kiana was very helpful, explained the packages and the difference between the red light and regular tanning beds that I sign up for a monthly membership. My wife and I have been coming here since the spa was at Bella Terra and we have ALWAYS had GREAT service. I come 2-3 times per week to detox in the infrared sauna. The sauna has helped me in so many ways and was recommended by my doctor. The tanning beds are very clean and I get a great tan using them. I also use the red light beds and have noticed my long term scars decrease in size. Sydney is great and always has things ready for me when I come in. I think U CA TAN is one of the few places near my area that offer the Mystic HD. Probably one of the best tanning experiences I ever had. I went twice for the HD (once for a regular mystic) because they had a BOGO deal for first time costumers, but usually it goes for around $45 or something. But it is definitely worth it. Mystic HD virtually gets rid of the mess of the regular HD by drying you off with warm air. You don't have to dab yourself when you get out, and it lasts a few more days longer than regular mystic. You also get your own bottle of tanning solution when you do the HD. Other than that, the place is clean and the staff are informative and friendly. read more

I discovered this place had infrared saunas and their price packages are more affordable than other locations with similar saunas. The sauna experience is lovely! They have lights that you can change colors to help your body with different ailments for healing. They also have directv hooked up to TVs so you can watch tv or listen to music. I also enjoy their eucalyptus cold hand towel they provide. Danielle their GM is very friendly, knowledgable and makes you feel comfortable. So glad I found this place! read more

I love U CA TAN! And this new location is great! It's clean and well kept. Danielle and Autumn are super friendly and informative! In fact I've never encountered a rude staff member in my 3 1/2 years of tanning at u ca tan! They make you feel welcomed and their prices are reasonable. There are a lot of different beds to choose from and there is rarely a wait time. They offer a wide variety of tanning lotions to intensify and increase the life of your tan. My favorite lotions are Smoke (black bronzer) and their new Boho lotion. Smoke for depth of color and boho for its amazing smell! Give them a shot, you won't go anywhere else! read more

I've been going to this tanning salon a year now and it has always been a good experience. I signed up for my membership in March of 2012 and originally did the $30/month which was unlimited regular beds and two upgrades. I soon got busy with work and could not come in as often so I downgraded to the $20/month which is unlimited regular beds. I had to go on vacation in which I had to put my account on hold. They then charged me $5/month until I reactivated, the $5 that they charged per month ended up going back towards me when I reactivated. I could use the money for upgrades/lotions/whatever I wanted. So that was pretty cool. The only thing that threw me off guard was that I had to pay a reactivation fee. I don't think I would have minded if I was told that first hand. But it is what it is, I am still a happy customer of theirs. Everytime I come, I am greeted with a smile. Their staff is very friendly! They close at 9pm and there has been many times that I have came in at 8:45pm, even 8:55pm due to work and they are still willing to let me in and tan without any sense of frustration. On Sundays, there are $10 deals for the regular bed or a spray tan. Can't beat that for a quick fix! So if you are looking for some color, come through to this place. It is located in Bella Terra and right next to Whole Foods and Staples. Enjoy! read more

I LOVE U-CA TAN!!! They have sooo many excellent beds to pick from. They seem to get different and better ones all the time too. The front desk girls are always knowledgable and sweet... not stuck up airheads. The best part to me is the packages they sell. They seem to have different promotions that are really good on the packages or lotions. I tan inconsistently so I love buying the points packages. I mystic and regular tan so I can do whatever I want with the points and they never expire. I can go to any of their stores too and use them. I only wish they had a location closer to me! I have to go pretty far... but it's worth it. Open one in the Cypress/Buena Park Area! I've been using U-CA tan for probably 6 years come to think of it. So for me to give it 5 stars still says a lot. read more

I don't Spray tan often, but when I do, I go to U Ca Tan at Bella Terra. I am the type of person that will pay more for great service and here the service is solid and at a reasonable price point. The Manager, Danielle is excellent and you feel like she really cares about how your tan comes out. I come here to tan before events and the HD spray tan is awesome and dries you off, so you don't have to worry about streaking.
