The coaches.... I like that the coaches are experts in what they teach. They ask you if you've taken classes before. What really stood out to me was the JuJitsu coach Brandon. He invites his students to stay after class and come to the open mat classes on other days. He wants you to learn. He makes it fun too, great sense of humor. You don't know what to expect! Definitely taught me a few things, The vibes.... Like any gym, you keep to yourself and less people will interrupt you. But it's nice to say hello make eye contact too. Eventually you have to and the vibes are great. Laws of attraction -- friendly people will attract friendly people and you'll have fun time. The classes... The groups are good size and different skill levels so you fit in. Especially at Millilani, there's these regulars that welcome you and just feels like home! Ive had that experience at UFCgym waikele and HONOLULU too. A long time ago and I missed it. Very heart warming to revisit those vibes, super happy to be back in classes. I'll be coming Mondays to Millilani! And occasional Tuesdays. FYI, the gym.... Clean. Well kept. Locker room is so different from Honolulu location. Just more rooms kind of like a labyrinth to find where toilets are and then sinks. That's good though, keeps you on your toes. read more

He's super knowledgeable and definitely helps work around your schedule, especially for someone like me who is always busy. I have to give a raving review for my Physical Trainer, Aubri Akana! She is awesome, well versed in her craft and very detailed oriented in her helping me get my body right! She is also a very bright light...always up beat and encouraging (while she is making me work hard ). I've been going here for quite some time now. They have multiple classes throughout the day on pretty much everything from jujitsu, wrestling, boxing, cardio type, yoga, etc. They have classes for all types of workout. Staff is pretty knowledgable on what they are teaching as well. Gym itself if nice overall. They have a kids center which you can drop off your kids while you get a workout in. For the most part, the gym is cleaned daily. Lots of equipment to use if you prefer free weight lifting or mats you can roll around. They also have punching bags. They also have their Arm Bar. It features lots of different healthy options from meals, shakes to snacks. My only concern is that the Arm bar is on the slow side when they take orders to prepping a shake. Usually there is only one person behind the counter which at times can take about 7-10 mins to order and then get your items especially if they have to make it. Along that note, their prices doesn't seem to reflect what they have displayed on their large screen. Doesn't seem like they update their large display screen. Also they have certain specials that they feature on their Facebook site but don't offer it at the store. Such as BOGO green shakes. What gives?!? read more

Great place and people. Only draw back is their day care. They have babies and toddlers together with the grown kids. Don't like the idea of my toddler around 11 yo strangers. So I've been a member of UFC Gym for 2 years now and I can't say enough good things about this place! From the staff, to classes to even the members, everyone is always so happy and welcoming. I've recently started doing recovery with one of the Coaches Cameron Murayama, let me just say he has improved my recovery and workouts immensely. I have a lot of lower back and knee problems and going to see him on a weekly basis and helped improve those issues a lot... and then some! Jaz is THE absolute best front desk worker at Mililani UFC that not only makes the 5am workout people feel like family but goes the extra mile by greeting everyone by name, taking the time to ask questions about your life and truly caring about our overall health. On so many occasions she has grabbed things I've accidentally left and even reached out to find me to return it. The gym is clean and well maintained, staff is friendly, their house made protein smoothies are awesome and the variety of training that is available to you gives you the ability to keep your workouts fresh. So I am now one of those people who have memberships at the two largest gym chains in the state (not gonna name names ;p) I know what to do for my needs. I am not a weightlifter, I mostly use the cardio machines. This gym is located at the Town Center of Mililani. Lots of parking on the Zippys/Popeyes side of the mall, which is the back side of UFC gym. Entrance to the gym is near the center court of the mall. You can use either the little keychain tab with the barcode or display your membership barcode from the UFC app on your phone. This floor space is smaller than the bigger chain (again, not naming names), but the volume of people is much less. I can't guarantee anything on the weight and equipment, but the treadmills are always available even during the peak times of 5pm-6pm. That's when they have a bunch of classes going on. So it may seem really busy, but it's not like all the equipment are being used. Because of the location and less volume, parking is so much less stressful. I always find parking in the general I prefer, and there are way more available parking, I don't really have to circle to look for parking. The showers seem/look/feel cleaner and better maintained. What makes this chain of fitness club stand out are the martial arts classes available if you have the ultimate level membership. There are also yoga, spin, group fitness classes too, just not as many/frequent. Even when the group fitness room is being used, there are other areas around the gym to do your stretches and foam rolling. They also have a ice water tower dispenser at their smoothie station. This is one of the biggest draws for me because I need cold water for my post workout drink. I'm borderline between deciding on 4 or 5 stars. The things I would've liked this gym to have is towels for showering so you don't have to bring your own, one less thing to have to carry. The music is a a little on the louder side, so if you want to listen to your own music or show on your phone, I'd recommend bringing noise cancelling earphones. In the end, I'd give this place 5 stars, due to its versatility on what they have to offer. Even with those drawbacks I mentioned, I'd still opt for this gym/location. I only have a one gym membership, for all club location access, just gotta pay more. read more

I came here looking for a personal trainer to help me with my fitness journey. I was a little overweight at 175 and wanted to feel and look my best. So I was assigned Coach Randy back in Aug of 2020. Coach Randy was an incredible trainer. He ensure I was eating correctly, and ensure I did everything I needed to achieve my goals. His workouts were amazing, he always found unique ways to work out every muscle group. He also when out of his way to accommodate my time schedule, give me workouts outside of our training sessions and was a great motivator. Due to him, at my last session in Jan 2021 I came in at 143. I wish I could still train with coach Randy but unfortunately I had to leave the Hawaii. I 100% recommend him if you want to start your fitness journey. Working on my fitness is definitely my goal. The staff here are very helpful and friendly. There are many equipment and classes to take here. I recently took the Body Pump class and Zumba class, they were both amazing classes. The body pump was challenging but so worth it, the instructors are so awesome, empowering, inspirational, they give great motivation. Zumba was so fun and intense, the instructor Amy K. was the best, she made dancing and exercising so fun. :) I definitely recommend this place to family and friends, and anyone to try out this Gym. read more

I usually go to Waikele except for cycling classes. I think I like Waikele despite starting out at Mililani. My child prefers Waikele too. So I go with my kid. One issue I have is the same as others with one star reviews have stated, the music is way too loud in the main area. Waikele plays theirs loud but not to the point I'm wearing noise canceling earplugs as soon as I enter the gym. I will not bring my children to Mililani kids club because I need to save their ears from loud noises so they won't be deaf when they get older. I also will not bring them to any kid classes in the future. I value my children's hearing. If I'm wearing noise canceling plugs, when I enter a gym, the music is too loud. However, the group fitness music is too soft. I know there are issues with neighbors but there needs be some kind of compromise. Like music not too loud during the day, when businesses are going and cranked up at night, when businesses are mostly closed. There needs to be an equal medium and negotiation. read more

Best gym I've joined so far! The couple of staff that helped me register were extremely helpful and very responsive to my membership needs. After voicing that I will not be using a personal trainer, they were very respectful and did not insist or push their services. What impressed me the most is their excellent customer service. Since I live half a mile from the gym and utilizes their kids care, I just walk to the gym with my granddaughter in her Veer cruiser. This morning, I was told not to bring the wagon, which was surprising since I've seen multiple strollers in the gym as big as ours - with one of them even parked yesterday inside the kids area and blocking the footwear cubicles. When I contacted Kaipo (the staff that helped me with my membership) about the incident, he immediately contacted the General Manager who will be providing few places for me to store the wagon while I'm in the gym. Secondly, my granddaughter love the kids care area. This tells a lot how much positive interaction she has with other kids and how much the multiple staff provides a great environment for her to have fun. I want to add that the reason I cancelled my membership from the other gym in the area was because she refused to be left in their kids area. Lastly, I am so proud to say that UFC Mililani provided my oldest son (who is in the Navy) the perfect gym to continue his heavy workout while on extended visit in Hawaii before his Army airborne school. Love the atmosphere of the gym and that it is not a super crowed gym (A quality that's hard to find on the island)

The gym is clean and most of the staff is friendly. They have a lot of machines and space to workout. I love the Group Fitness classes especially AJ's Killer Cycle and Ripped. I just tried the Ultimate ? Classes like the one on the red turf, dut ? I took on Saturday. The coach was fun and energetic. She showed us what to do and kept encouragung us all class long. I missed her name I think it was Cat. Tonight I took the one in the room with the bags called fight fit and I liked that one better than the one on the turf. The coach for the fight fit took the time to explain and showed us what he expected not just explain but actually showed us I was impressed. He was also good at walking and checking on us throughout class and pumping us up. I think his name was Rodney, he was superb! I took one star away for the mat being a little uneven in the bag room I almost tripped even some of the other people. It's at the edge where the rack is, I think that should be looked at. I must say though, I do love this gym! read more

Been coming here for few years. Have loved the classes equipment and trainers. I've worked with boxing and kickboxing instructors. Ryan and Rodney mondala are terrific fight coaches. For the last fee months I have been working intensely with Coach Randy for strength training. He's really helped me bulk up and learn ton of new exercises and proper use of the equipment. I've had so many injuries in the past but thanks to randy I've really made progress injury free and feel so much more confident and we'll rounded in the gym. Great gym, weak supplements. Gyms great, just don't bother buying their supplements. I guess I must have bought during a covid sale where there are no returns, but specifically their preworkout is very weak and doesn't give me much energy to workout. When I returned the item, the cashier said all sales were final which was disappointing since it still cost about 50 dollars. The preworkout itself had been drying up but was still flavorful at least and mixed well. Stick with the GNC or other brands for preworkouts. Their Dotfit brand isn't that great. read more

If you're not local, do not go here. They would never admit the unfair treatment they give to non locals vs locals and it's obvious. Been going to the gym for a while and since they required people to wear masks, the staff finds any reason to *very aggressively* get in your face if it's not on properly. I once pulled mine down to breath after a heavy set and to drink some water, but forgive me for breathing for too long. I immediately got reminded to put it back up, which I did, and even after I did I had two staff member come back and get in my face and yell at me and tell me I had to speak with management. I wouldn't have cared as much if I saw this behavior directed towards the other HANDFUL of people blatantly wearing a mask below their nose or mouth during a whole set or the whole time they're on a cardio machine. I'm not blind, and that's why I refuse to put up with the aggressive discriminatory treatment. The staff needs to go take their aggression out in a healthier way (i don't know, maybe like working out) instead of towards paying members. Great gym bring your all your kids because it's a free for all on equipment. Your kids can jump and run around while people are lifting heavy weights with headphones on. If they get hurt cha ching payday because you know the UFC has plenty of pay per view money to pay your kids pain and suffering. Great family atmosphere it's like being on a playground and the equipment is a jungle gym. Again bring all your kids and let them loose it's OK here! Less like romper room and more like a real gym now, seems that they have started to monitor the gym floor. Good job! read more

I had a lot of issues at another UFC facility that Mililani went out of their way to fix. I have been a member there for over a year and always have a pleasant workout there. The front desk is friendly and informative. The facility is clean including their showers that I regularly use. I go here about 4-5x/week to lift and the weight section is always maintained and the lifters are friendly. They only get "super busy" around 5-7 but it's possible to find available equipment. I would highly recommend this facility for someone that enjoys lifting. read more

Definitely a good place to workout though parking and then finding the place can be a pain at times. The staff are very friendly and helpful so if you have a question just walk up to someone and ask. Took the Killer Cycling class which was great. Good instruction and the equipment worked so that's always a plus. The problem was that the sound equipment in the room was not good. Instructor had to keep walking around to be understood by the whole class. Should definitely consider investing in some sound equipment. If you are looking for a gym in the area definitely check it out. read more

Be careful of this place when signing up. I just had a friend get lied to about various things in order to get her to sign up. Now she has to try and get her deposit back and this gym hasn't even opened yet!! Their contracts are on a computer screen which makes it inconvenient and time consuming to read (which is why they probably do it). The manager didn't even ask how he could help her be satisfied... just told her that her information was incorrect and that she should have read the fine print. And that there was nothing he could do. What the heck?? She hasn't even stepped foot in the place! Where's the integrity? SMH. read more
