My bank account shows that my son has been buying lots of items from UFC on my credit card. I called UFC to tell them to stop allowing these charges and remove my card from his file. They tell me I can't do that because the account will be considered delinquent if I don't have a card to auto renew his monthly membership. I told him I would rather make manual monthly payments than give my minor son full access to my credit card. They said I have to come in person to do that. What? Just take my damn card off his account! Sure I'll come in person - to cancel the membership! I recently joined ufc gym in February and I have to say my experience so far has been excellent. The atmosphere is very friendly, even though its called UFC gym, you don't have to be someone who does MMA. Casey and Jared helped me with membership and set me up with a personal trainer Nate. I cannot recommend him enough! I've lifted before but I would still consider myself a beginner/novice person to the gym. Initially I just wanted help with exercises to improve my flexibility and strength to help improve my golf game and now he's helping me gain a little bit more muscle. Working with Nate has been really beneficial, and I've learned a lot. He's knowledgeable in lots of exercises that are sports related and has also helped me with exercises to put on size. Working with Nate I've been able to put on 10lbs of muscle in little over a month. Since working with Nate I've seen an improvement in my muscular endurance, flexibility and strength. No matter your level of experience Nate is your guy! He was really patient and encouraging and will help you push you to your limit to help you reach your fitness goals. So I live this gym. Open 24/7, very clean, great selection of equipment and all the classes are included in your membership. I'm into spinning and I love AJ and Karla - they make me puke. Loved attending this gym. Loved the staff, loved the coaches, loved the classes. Only downside was the change to the daycare. When it first opened the daycare area was awesome & the workers were amazing, over time it's gotten dirty, kids are ALWAYS getting sick, and they switched out the daycare employees unfortunately, so there have been lots of issues. read more

Worst experience I've had with a gym. Since joining there I've had nothing but trouble with it. Lied to just to get my membership from 24, every week it seems like another problem arises with my membership. People steal stuff in the locker room. It's always crowded and my kid keeps getting sick in the daycare. The staff is rude and make you feel uncomfortable. It costs more to use the other gyms on island and it seems to be a pain to get them to give me the military rate for my membership. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone. Don't cancel a membership to go there, you're probably better off where your at. I'm going to attempt to contact their corporate office to rid myself of this nightmare. read more

Buyer Beware: Make sure you ask for a printed copy of the sales agreement before you sign anything. They utilize electronic copies which are hard and inconvenient to read. What they tell you and what is on paper is different and you will be stuck. Also insist on getting a signed copy of the agreement before you leave. I was told I was going to be emailed a copy but never got one even after asking the sales person 4 times. I finally got one after 6 weeks after calling the front desk and by then it was too late to find out that I've been ripped off. Nice looking Gym but really bad business practices. read more

Save your time and just go to 24. I am very disappointed because I had very high hopes for this gym. My favorite so far are Yoga with Valerie and DUT (daily ultimate training) with Shiulina. All the couches push you to be better and heathier. The FLOORS in the group exercise room are so dirty. Why can't the gym clean the floors BEFORE class starts? If I use a mat, it collects the dirt and grass that covers the exercise room floor. I hate to put my skin on these dirty floors. It seems like it is so difficult to get management to schedule the cleaners to clean the room when it would make the most helpful difference. I see the cleaners are cleaning AFTER everyone is gone and the classes are finished. There are no cleaners scheduled to start work before 8am. So how can they clean before classes start? This does not help. read more

Terrible customer service!! Went in on Saturday with my boyfriend and his son. There was about 3 people working out and I'd say 5-8 employees standing around. We went to the front desk to inquire about classes for the child. The girl at the front gave us some basic information about the different class options and when we asked about cost she pointed to the salespeople and said that we would need to speak with one of them. We asked one more question and again she said you will need to speak to a salesperson. Since none of the salespeople took that as their cue to speak to us we walked over to them. (In my opinion they should have approached us as they could clearly see and hear that we were looking for pricing). We walked over and again no one even greeted us, my boyfriend had to grab someone's attention and ask them for pricing for the child. (And again, let me reiterate that they were literally just sitting around talking. They weren't helping other customers or busy doing something else. They were all sitting around so I found it very off putting that not one of them even said Hello to us.) She was quick and short and not very informative. Gave us the price and was like ok and then walked away. No one made us feel like they wanted our business or that they cared at all. For a gym that was pretty much empty on a Saturday you would think they would be trying to get your business but I guess they were too busy talking to each other to care about a potential new customer. We won't be enrolling him into classes here. That was ridiculous. Customer service should always be top priority and obviously it is not. Very disappointing. read more

I've been a member at UFC Mililani Gym for about 6 months even though I have access to free gyms on military installations. During this initial period, I've had the benefit of instruction from Jun Michael Calma, one of the UFC coaches. I definitely have benefited from his expertise in ensuring that my nutrition, form, and regiments were tailored to my goals and that no injuries occured on his watch. He gives clients undistracted attention during their sessions and is very responsive to texted questions when not on the clock. While other members of the staff are extremely friendly and professional, I would not have wanted any other personal trainer than Coach Jun Michael. With his varied background (martial arts, football, yoga, & more), he's your man no matter what your personal goals are. You can also tell that he's well liked and respected by former and current clients that pass by during your sessions. read more

Nice gym but SUPER FILTHY floors in the exercise room. The FLOOR not only streaks grease marks from the bikes, the floor is usually covered with sweat after a hot summer cardio class. My girlfriend who tried some of the bare feet classes like Hot Hula and Yoga, always has to wash her feet after class because it is completely covered in black soot-ish dirt!!!! I should have took a pic to show you all how gross everyone's feet looks after class. I don't understand why Mililani UFC management decided it is best to send the janitors in to clean ONLY AFTER all the classes are done. Makes NO sense to me. Shouldn't the floors be cleaned right before class starts instead of waiting till there are no other classes to use the floor? UFC GYM should provide clean floors that offer a safe environment whether dancing barefoot or laying down on the floor with your nose to the mat. I mentioned it to an instructor and she tried to partially clean it. Which delayed the class. UFC Mililani has very poor management. read more

My daughter and I were able to try UFC Gym - Mililani out as guests for a week. With our guest pass, we were able to see how friendly and helpful the staff are there. The Arm Bar is a great benefit and they have lots of stuff to choose from. The facility is super clean and I'm a big fan of their sauna. What I enjoyed the most is the classes they offer. We tried Daily Ultimate Training (DUT) with Coach Shiulina and she is an amazing person. At first, we were nervous to try, but Coach Shiulina was welcoming and broke down all the things we had to do. She walked through the entire class, motivating those who needed an extra push. I recommend anyone who wants to try a high intensity, full body workout to take her class. You'll leave feeling sweaty but accomplished. There's no greater feeling than accomplishment! read more

READ ANY CONTRACTS. In my opinion, Its a brand new gym that is very attractive but, it kind of managed like cellular store, always trying to sell you or lock you into something with a contract. A gym should not have so many options with contracts to sign. All I want to do is work out at a nice gym and get some expert assistance from time to time. Words cant describe how frustrated I am right now. I sign up with Darlene and she tells me I can freeze my prepaid membership and that there won't be an annual fee. She ENSURES me that I will be able to do those things. Fast forward to about a month into my membership, my card is charged over $50. I sent her countless emails and she NEVER responded. I went in person countless times to try to resolve it. She never got back to me. It took about a month to resolve this when she then told me in person that there is in fact, an annual fee. A week ago I go to freeze my membership because you know, Darlene said I could do that. I get met with the worst attitude from this lady telling me I can't freeze my membership. I realize that Darlene lied straight to my face and it's sickening. God bless her soul she's a great person but man, it sucks being strung along. I still have all of the messages of her telling me things that just weren't true. It hurts because I actually love this place man. read more

This is honestly one of the best gyms I've ever been to. I was not in the best place mentally or physically before I joined. I had just injured my knee and gone through physical therapy. I had been moping and gained a lot of weight. I wanted to work out again, but I wasn't convinced I would be able to do much on my knee. The UFC gym and working with Tyson for personal training helped me. When I joined, I couldn't run 400 meters at a track without feeling like I was dying. I struggled to do one push-up. And sometimes my knee would still wobble or hurt. On top of that, there was a career I found and wanted to work towards, but I figured there was no way I could ever pass their PFT. So I signed up for personal training. Tyson is both encouraging and tough. He looked at the scoring system for the PFT and put an awesome routine together for me. He was mindful of my knee, but didn't let me baby it, either. He taught me how to take care of it post-run or work-out. Over time, I noticed my knee wasn't trying to buckle anymore. It feels stronger now and it no longer bothers me. He gave me running homework, so I could get faster and run longer distances. There were times I looked at him like he was crazy, like when he told me to shoot for under one hour on the King's Runner 10K. But I did it and surprised myself! Now I'm trying for a half-marathon. He pushed me hard with upper body strength. I went from wondering how I'd ever pass the push-up event to knowing I can pass. Tyson kept bringing over heavier dumbbells every session; pretty sure I looked terrified sometimes! But he always seemed to know I could do it, even if I wasn't sure. I will be able to pass that PFT, I'm confident now. Walking into the UFC gym and signing up on a whim that day is one of the best decisions I've ever made for my mental and physical health. I'm in better shape now than I was before my knee injury. Back when I was moping and I couldn't walk without limping, I never imagined I would be where I am today. The only reason I'm leaving is because we are moving. It's going to be hard to find another gym like this one and probably impossible to find a trainer as great as Tyson. read more

They have everything every other gym has, but the music is too loud. I can't hear my headphones. It's distracting and there's nothing you can do about it. I asked if they could turn it down a little and the representative I talked to said, "No, that's what we do around here." Which would be fine,but most people aren't listening to the gym music. They have there own headphones. Also the bench press stations are garbage. If you're between 5-4 and 6-2 you'll be fine. But my wife can't use them at all and they aren't adjustable. If you like a gym that's comfortable and fun, stay away from here. read more

Best gym ever!! The staff is always happy and welcoming. The manager Kimo is always around to answer my questions. Talks to me about available programs that could help my daughter With her sports. Very clean locker rooms. Lots of equipment. I hardly ever have to wait to jump on a machine. Lots of varieties. I love the spacious set up. Although there is lots of members it doesn't seem over crowded. Everyone is there to workout. I used to get intimated from gyms but not this one. The coaches are awesome..especially my coach Stephanie Ramos! She understands what my body wants and needs. In the last 3 weeks I've lost 10lbs with her training and guidance.
