First off I gotta give a shot out to Brianna the one who assisted me with my reservation. She was very friendly and definitely went above and beyond. Very Thankful for her she knows how to take care of customers and make sure everything is right!!! So thank you. We stayed at the Westin and saw their flyers for parasailing, the check in process was easy. Prior to going there you can complete the waivers on your mobile phone to save time. The only issue that I had was the check in time was 30mins prior we got there 30mins prior and than had to wait for the next boat so we waited like 45mins before boarding which kind of annoyed me because it was so hot. The guys driving the boat ensured our safety and made our experience a great one. We also purchased the video and picture package and our pictures came out great! Make friends on the boat too so you can have them take pictures and videos too if you want! All in all a fun experience my son and I had a great time! read more

This was so safe, and thrilling without any fear! This was my first time parasailing and I'll definitely be back. This was an 8 person boat (3 couple's, and two singles including me), and we all got plenty of timw Jamal and Meygan were really friendly, drove us verrry smoothly, and the views were gorgeous! This review is for UFO Parasail's 1200 Ft Out-of-this-World parasail ride. My family of 4 took the trip the week of June 6th. We had enjoyed flying with UFO in the past, but felt we needed to leave a review after the experience we had and after watching our video of one of the flights. Our experience several years ago was great, but after the more recent one, I cannot recommend. They were not prepared, our flight times were far below what was promised, and we didn't feel very safe. UFO has a boat captain that drives the boat and an assistant that prepares the riders for their flight. The assistant did not properly put the harness on one rider, and it was much too loose. Fortunately, the captain noticed but had to come over and fix it herself at the last minute as the rider was passing her to go to the launch platform. The balance was not set correctly, and the lighter rider hung well below the other, at a sharp angle and were very uncomfortable. The lighter rider got soaked to her waist and was scared because she was hanging so much lower. Both riders were uncomfortable. The miss-balance is clear in our video. The crew had to change out the parachute, and it took a really long time. The captain had to do most of the work as the assistant had trouble moving the parachute and wasn't confident with where lines went. Short flight times: There were 3 groups to go up in a 60 minute window. The first ride didn't start until 35 mins into the 60 minute window. I kept track of the times: two 6 minute rides and one 7 minute ride. This is well short of the 10 minute ride quoted by the captain and their yelp reviews. Clearly a result of all the issues above but unacceptable when you are paying $109 a person. We talked to the company after getting back on the beach. They informed us that the assistant on the boat normally works in the office and was getting trained on the boat due to current employee shortage, and that she's only been on the boat since the prior week. While we appreciate their honesty, their workers should get more training before going out with customers. The whole trip felt poorly run and rushed. Not great when your business involves parachutes. read more

We are a family of 5 so we were fortunate enough to have the boat for ourselves. Makiya and Dillion made everyone feel so comfortable even my 6 year old went for it! We purchased the photos and were so glad we did. They took some really great shots and we all had so much fun!! We will definitely be going back next vacation! We did a fishing charter, their first since they re-opened to visitors. We had a blast and the trip exceeded my expectations! The captain (David) and Kihea were on time and even called the night before to review details and answer questions. The day of the trip they went out an hour early to catch bait fish so that we could spend more time catching the big ones!! This was a great experience. It was a beautiful view and surprisingly relaxing. My nephew and I did the longer ride and I feel like that was the perfect length. There were 2 other groups that went up and they were efficient about getting up all set up quickly. The morning of, my husband woke up with bad tooth pain and needed a root canal. I text UFO to let them know that my nephew and I would still attend but my husband had an emergency dentist appointment. Within minutes, I had a refund for my husband's portion. It was unexpected since it was far less than the 24 hour cancellation policy but it was very appreciated. I get motion sickness easily. I took tons of dramamine, but threw up 5 minutes before we got back. I tried to reach the edge yet ended up throwing up on the boat. I wish I could remember the name of our guides. They were both so kind and comforted me, despite the fact that they would have to clean up after me. They were both tipped well :) read more

My company was out in Maui for a business incentive trip so we were looking to impress. I booked kind of a last minute trip and UFO was SO EASY to work with, very casual and easy going. Check in spot was easy to find and the process was super easy. Once we were on the boat, Joel and Dustin took care of us. They were easy to talk to, funny and very informative to any question we threw at them. Parasailing was a freaking BLAST, each person would've stayed up there all day if time allowed it. We had so much fun we bought tee shirts, which may not seem like a big deal but these shirts came in handy throughout the rest of the trip (wearing mine now at the airport). Dustin also gave my boss and I some insider tips to some of our next events that changed the trajectory of those experiences. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Friends of ours got a great Kamaaina discount on a whale watching tour and kindly asked us out for a 3 hour trip that UFO are running...without the parasail...lol! We were picked up at Kaanapali right off the beach and zoomed out to where the whales were breaching and splashing so we could take some great photos, hear the sighing blow holes and watch the males slapping their tails and flippers, while the females taught their calves to swim. The pilot was friendly and happily chatted with us and made sure we got to see as many whales as possible. You will get wet getting into/out of the boat to the beach, and make sure you take plenty of sunscreen and a hat that stays put and if you are prone to motion sickness take dramamine too ;) read more
