We had a blast. The crew was amazing from top to bottom. Hate heights and was pretty comfortable the entire ride (we did the 1200 feet of line vs 800 which I think was worth it). Bonus was getting a bunch of great photos for a very reasonable fee ($30). A great experience to do with my kids and my wife was able to join as an observer which was worth the price of admission for her. These guys were fantastic. Our condo overlooks the bay at Kona and our kids wanted to do it. We booked a couple of days out but got canceled and rebooked twice because of weather. We were finally able to go on our last possible day, and ended up sharing the boat with another family that had the same cancel/rebook experience. The flight with my kids was something I'll never forget. They loved it and we had a great time chatting way up in the sky where it was (surprisingly) really quiet. Awesome team, awesome experience. We have booked this 4 months ahead of our visit and when our plans changed they were more then wiling to rebook us (twice). Turned out that we were alone at the appointed hour so they extended flight for us at no extra charge. And at the same evening (of the flight) we got over 100 of very good photos. Finally they have refunded us for one member of our party that didn't show up even without asking for it. Our captain, Kehei, wasn't prepared. First, we didn't have any bait fish so that meant time taken away from catching what we were there for but rather having to try for bait. We had to move to several spots. Also, he only allowed 2 rods in the water at a time while bait fishing and 1 of those were his!! So my spouse and another paid fisherman, Pete, just stood watching. After quite some time had past the captain decided to 2 of us fish. Never at one time did we all 3 have lines in the water. It was a disappointment to stay the least. I was walking down by the Kailua pier when I saw the bright blue parasailing UFO boat. My son and daughter were down to try it. I found them in-line and booked through a website. Everything was straight forward, we did 2 riders, 2 observers. They emailed a confirmation right away and we filled out waivers on-line. Day of the reservation, we walked over right on time. Christian was just finishing up with the last group. Christian was friendly and personable, as we waited for the other half of our riders . Once on the boat Captain Scramble went over all the safety instructions, that seemed to put everyone at ease. Christian worked on getting every rider set up and he dealt with the parachute. Everything is set up, they clip in the riders, who are sitting on the deck. Next captain hits the gas and the riders lift off the deck to about 400 yards up. After about 10 minutes, they start to reel you in. They literally put the riders standing up on the back deck of the boat. I'm sure it was a chore but the captain made it look so simple and effortless. Yes it's pricey but it was a safe memorable voyage. I recommend giving it a try. read more

I've never parasailed but this fantastic team of tour guides made our day. Beginning with the short dinghy ride and the funny jokes from our captain it started great! We got the best team of Makai and Mary. They were funny and really made us feel comfortable. We were a group of ten! The DJ skills were so great they even made my mom dance. We signed up for para sailing on Maui out of Kaanapali where we were staying at a codo, The Whaler, prior to our departure on line. No problems! The pick up point is right on the beach in front of the Whaler's Village, next door to the condo. When we arrived the morning of our adventure, we were told the weather might not allow us to proceed, but they loaded us up into an inflatable Zodiak boat and ferried us out to the power boat. The captain briefed us on what was to take place and again we were told the weather was less than optimal so we would be taking a boat ride around to see if other sites were any better. About 30 minutes of a great trip, the captain called it a no-go due to weather and we returned to the beach. There they rescheduled and in two days tried again. Again, weather was an issue and this time, it was called before we went out. Again we rescheduled for 2 days out and this time, perfect weather! How wonderful that they cared enough to ensure the best conditions instead of just taking our money and possibly less than safe adventure. This time we were the only two on the boat, so they gave us some extra flight time and we spent at least 45 minutes on the water and 15 in the air tandem. When we returned, we were offered to purchase 75 photos they took of us for $30. I considered that a bargain as they let you preview with a link that has watermarks. Upon payment, they remove the watermarks and your all set to start posting your photos on social media or download to your own device. I can't say enough good things about this experience. Thank you all at UFO! P.S. Spring for the 1200' experience over the 800'. You won't be sorry! read more

Wonderful time. Our crew were Jacob and Jake and they were great. Friendly, informative, and fun, with great energy and even better music. I was in a party of two and there also was a party of three on the boat - and that was it. Loved that it wasn't crowded and that we didn't have to sit for hours watching everyone else parasail. The amount of time up in the air felt perfect, not too long and not too short. They explained the harnesses and emergency equipment swe felt very safe, and my son loved the toe/leg dips in the water! They do have one of the crew snap photos of you and your party, before and during the flight. (My one and only suggestion is for them to upload the photos to a secure site rather than giving you photos on an SD card. Maybe it's just me but we have a Mac, a windows PC and an iPad in the house and none take SD cards. I don't have a video camera so it's likely just me who will have trouble accessing the photos. ) Wonderful experience. Can't wait to go again! read more
