Amazing!!! Due to covid-19 I haven't been able to socialize or take my puppy to any dog parks or classes. So I decided to try daycare! He's my fur baby so at first I was a little nervous! But the employees walked me threw the place and ensured me he would love it. I dropped him off at 1pm and picked him up at 6. They do send you picture updates, which I love! I boarded my dog Thanksgiving 2010 week. The owners Soo & Irwin were very nice. They responded quickly to my email questions before I brought my dog in. The facility was very clean, nice, & modern. Their prices are comparable to other boarding facilities. I felt like a valued customer & was very satisfied when I picked my dog up. My dog appeared to have had a good time while there. They even took some pictures of my dog while I was gone without me having to ask, which I thought was wonderful. Now how many boarding places do that? I'll board there again! read more

I found Ufuria 6 months ago and my experience so far has been great. At Ufuria you have everything under one roof: daycare, grooming, food, toys, supplements... it is one of the things that I like the most, that I don't have to drive anywhere else. About the daycare they do a dog evaluation for first timers and based on it they determine what is the best for your dog, in my case I thought that they would not accept her ​​because she has anxiety problems and didn't socialize with other dog (this is the main reason why I brought her) to my surprise they accepted her and have worked with her during all this time. I see that now she is more comfortable with other dogs and has made great progress. At first it was not easy because she had allergic reactions (due to the stress of her anxiety) but with time and with the great help of the entire Ufuria team, she now feels comfortable and loves to come and play with other dogs. They have different options for daycare: half days, full day, 5/10/20 days packages which is very helpful. I also use their grooming service and it is excellent, they use top quality products and I have not had any problems with my dog's skin allergies. Ufuria has a wide variety of healthy foods to choose from and they often have promotions. All the workers are very friendly and they really care about your dog. Been almost 2 years since I started going to Ufuria. It just gets better and better. My Buddy goes there quite often due to my extensive travel last year. Many times he was there 2 to 4 weeks. Sometimes I think he would rather stay there than come back home....LOL Seriously though, they take such good care of all the dogs and I would not take mine anywhere else. Great staff, excellent owners, great service. The daycare area is well organized, kept clean, and they do a great job of matching the dogs with each other in the group areas. I've been to a couple of different groomers for my shih-poo and they never cut his hair how I want even after I showed them a picture. I called at 2pm to see if they have any available openings and they took my pup in at 3 and he was done 2 hours later. I'll be going to this place from now on. We recently boarded our 7mo old Weimaraner Manolo for a 1 night stay. I was grateful that they had availability for a same day reservation. Price per night was $31 not a bad deal but exercise and walks were an additional charge ( $14 for a 30 min. Walk) I was concerned about that because our Weim is active and a pup so I did stress about if he was going to be ok in a kennel from 11am to 11am with just a 30 minute walk. I also paid an early check in fee of $22 because normal check in time is 2pm. Not a problem, I respect that business policy. The staff was friendly and plenty and the location is large and clean. I would bring Manolo back here and hope to try out their doggy day care where they socialize and evaluate your dog and his/her progress. Ufuria is a 4 star "better than most boarding and doggy dare care facility" worth trying out. read more

I was desperate for dog boarding last minute from a late planned trip and family were not willing to help out...so I had to bite the bullet and start calling around to see who has availability for my two dogs for 3 days! Ufuria has been a life changer for Auggie and me. This isn't your big box doggie daycare where they pack the dogs in a small room only seperated by small and large dogs. First of all, your dog is evaluated to make sure your dog will not be stressed, will be happy in daycare, fit in and will be in the appropriate play group. They truly have your dogs safety and well-being first and formost. Auggie is a sweet boy who was nervous, apprehensive and skeptical about life. You would be too if you had been dumped in the desert in the middle of summer in the triple digit heat. I wanted a safe environment for him to socialize with other dogs and other people. As I really don't feel dog parks are a safe environment. At Ufuria you know all the dogs have had their shots, immunizations and have been neutered. Auggie has been going to daycare for about a year and a half now and has become a confident, trusting and well socialized boy. Because of Ufuria he has made friends with our neighbors and their dogs as well. The staff is amazing and have become extended family for us. Auggie is always excited to see the staff and they're happy to see him. He went from me having to help walk him back, to saying hi to the check in staff and heading to the door to the play area and ready for that door to open without ever even looking back. They also give you reports of how your dog is doing at daycare. If there's any problems like they didn't feel good or they have loose stools they always report that information to you as well. We have been very happy with their grooming services as well. We also buy our food and our treats from Ufuria. They carry quality products. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful regarding the products and suggestions for products to try. Because of their suggestion to try Plaque Off we have not had to get a dental cleaning. I always tell Augie the night before when we're going to go to Ufuria and I've had him wake up as early as 5 am and wait at the garage door for us to leave. It makes me happy that he is so excited and happy to go to Ufuria and I don't have to worry about him while he's there. I even picked my new work hours so he could still go to daycare. The staff at Ufuia really love the dogs and care about them. Every dog should have Ufuria in their life. I would like to thank the wonderful staff for always taking great care of my boy. read more

I have brought my Bentley here more than a few times for daycare. He loves coming here and by the time I pick him up at the end of the day he's tired and ready for bed. I normally take other bad reviews with a grain of salt. You never know the full story or situation but the reviews are very true about this place. I spoke to a teresa on the phone and she was friendly. I took my fur baby for an evaluation from 1-6pm. Right upon entering the facility there was an unwelcoming vibe. Like other reviewers we didn't really want to leave our dog here after walking in. The staff is just not good. Im not exaggerating. It was not welcoming and we did not feel good about this place. I started to fill out paperwork when someone came to get my dog. He was very scared when she was trying to drag him away from us. She then said oh you can come with me so we walked with her and had loads of dogs barking at us. Someone else then ran in and said we cant be in there because of liability. Well then why did the other person tell us we could come with her. It didn't feel right! I look over and my boyfriend had the most upset look on his face. No tour or anything was explained to us about the facility. We dont know the condition or anything about it. We left our dog there and felt terrible. I came home and read reviews and started crying. A dog DIED there. Dogs get mixed up and sent home with the wrong people, and hurt, and the reviews just confirm how we felt when we left our baby there. I rarely leave a poor review but I know people care about their babies. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and we will not set foot in there again. read more

As I said, typically I have a wonderful experience here. I did want to revise some things in my previous review. After searching other spots for putting our dog up in the area, Ufuria's prices are right in the middle so I'd have to give positive ratings for its prices. We've been putting our dog there a lot recently due to some recent family struggles. On her third day during one stay in May, they called us saying she had blood in her stool, and took her to her vet nearby where they gave her medicine that Ufuria already starting giving. I have to give the manager and this place credit for not only taking her to the vet rather than just waiting for me to pick her up and tell me about it later, but they also agreed to cover her vet bill for it since she was fine when we dropped her off and didn't show her symptoms until three days in, suggesting maybe she got into something on their end. Either way, I think after having seen how much we've brought our dog there over the years, she knew we weren't trying to dodge a vet bill or something, and I commend this place for doing the right thing in this situation. I was very tempted to give a star down for my last visit to pick up my dog after another family thing, but I didn't think this lady reflected the rest of the kind people working there. There were two ladies working, and one of them was helping another person. I stood kind of expecting the other person working (young, dark hair, lots of tats on arms) to either call me over or maybe say be right with you. I got nothing and she was lost in her computer screen, so I assumed she was busy. The other lady finished with the customer and was finishing something up, and finally a good 90 seconds passed (about 4 minutes since I'd entered the store) before the one looking at her screen, while STILL looking at her screen, asks in the most passively interested way if I'm picking up. I said yes, gave my dogs name, and while STILL not looking away from her screen she walkie talkies for my dog. I'm not exaggerating - my entire time in the store, she did not look away from that screen. I'm convinced she was shopping online, definitely not working. Seriously, we're a consumer society so all of us experience customer service many times almost every day, and this lady just flat out sucks. Again though, not reflective of the rest of the business though as everyone else there is very kind and has good service. read more

My 3 dogs stayed here for 6 days! When I went in to pick them up, I was so anxious. They came out and looked so happy! Smelt amazing after a free bath (because they stayed 5 days or longer). Grooming: good Doggie Day Care: scary I have been here before for grooming and the staff was very professional and groomed my dog quickly. The retail area has a nice selection and I was pleased with how they trimmed nails, squeezed anal glands and cleaned him. I went in to have my dog participate in doggie daycare. I do not need my dog to be watched, but I went with the intent that he would have socialization with other dogs. My dog was immediately scared to go back, and lots of barking could be heard even from outside the building. The staff let us back to walk out dog back but would not let us see what the play area even looked like. Some of the dogs were kenneled and not even interacting with other dogs. It made me nervous that I couldn't see what was going on. In addition, as I was checking my dog in, the woman in front of me explained that the dog she was dropping off wasn't hers and they were trying to see how it did with other dogs so they could see if it could be adopted... I understand wanting to so that, but that could be potentially extremely unsafe for my dog. Needless to say, I did not leave my dog. read more

I used to be a customer, until today. Made an appt for my dog to be groomed 2 weeks ago. They messed up and didn't put him on the calendar, but was willing to take him anyway, fine. After 1 hour, they called me and said he was being difficult (weird, my dog has been there many times) and they couldn't cut his hair. I thought, ok -- this won't cost us then. Well, they charged us $45 for a bath that I could have done at home. I didn't take my dog there to be bathed and part of me thinks that they were never planning to cut his hair because they messed up his appt and likely had other customers scheduled. More than disappointed. If anything they shouldn't have charged for a service that we didn't ask for. Not to mentioned one other time that we took him there to socialize with other dogs (boarding requirements) and he was returned to us completely filthy and muddy. read more

We boarded our dog on May 13-14 and when we picked him up he had "water" on his hind quarters. The girl stated that she startled him and he touched the water. When we drove away we discovered the "water" was urine when the smell got really bad. Why she did not clean him is beyond our understanding. Today, the 28th of May we took our dog back for a grooming as we had a 9:30 AM appointment. We told them we would be back within two hours. When we arrived we found out that they had not started on our dog. We wasted about an hour and a half. So, because we were pressed for time, we started to reschedule but they wanted to charge us $35.00 for a bath...What??!! What a rip off. It's their fault for being late then we get penalized?? My wife was upset but left our dog so he could get clipped. Unless w received a proper explanation of the events we'll not return. What's happening to this once fine place? read more

We looked into Ufuria as a referral from our friend and glad we did. Soo and Irwin are both very personable people and have a great operation going on. The staff (especially Sean) is friendly and attentive... they give the vibe that they genuinely care about your pet. The grounds are always kept clean and tidy. They use non-toxic cleaning products in their facility...for those particular about that kinda stuff. Ask for a tour if you're curious. This is a great place to board your doggie, whether it be for just a day or a week (we've done both). I would also highly recommend adding the daycare session (1/2 or full day) when you board your dog. Our dog is always worn out after just the half-day daycare. It's great for doggy socializing too! We always feel confident and comfortable leaving our dog at Ufuria! Ufuria is getting busier, so it's best to call ahead for daycare and boarding. But, there have been times when we've called an hour before dropping our dog off and they've accommodated us. read more

Took my dog for daycare assessment. After two hours one of the staff was calling me telling me I should pick up my dog already because he doesn't wanna play and that he failed the assessment. She said that my dog was not being aggressive but not in the mood to play so he failed. And I still paid $30 after that. Took him to The Pet Patrol at Corona after few days and he passed. Review is mainly for daycare and boarding services. Top.Notch. Soo and staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable. Our dog tends to be on the nervous side, especially with new people, but the staff here takes the time and proper steps necessary to get Kimo comfortable before leading him to the daycare area. Example: the first day, Kimo would not leave my side. The staff member tasked with checking Kimo in crouched down, faced the other direction and placed a treat right in between the two. Finally curious, Kimo went and sniffed the staff member and enjoyed a treat as a reward. Not jumping any guns, the staff member still remained as he was, until Kimo clearly came back, sniffing and asking for another treat. Kimo has no problems trotting along side staff members now, excited about the adventures that await him. Ufuria has saved on many occasions. My dog Nikki LOVES this place. My dog, who has separation anxiety, absolutely LOVES this place. The second time I brought her here, she jumped out of the car and pulled me to the door before I could get her stuff out of the car. I have boarded my dog before, and at my former place in Northern California, it took a year before she would jump out of the car knowing she would be playing with other puppies. I love how attentive the staff at Ufuria was. Irwin, one of the owners, gave me a tour of the facility while my dog stayed with a staff person at the front desk. It was very clean, and there was no dog smell. At the end of Nikki's stay, she also got a report card. One of my trips, I let them know I needed to get to the airport ASAP, and Soo, the other owner, said, "Go ahead and get Nikki because Lynda has to get to the airport." I can't say enough about the attention to detail and caring that is in this place. I looked at several other facilities, even ones that cost less, and they don't hold a candle to Ufuria. read more

I brought my pup here for a grooming and when I was picking her up I saw how rough their groomers are w/ the dogs. Had I known this beforehand I would never have left her in their care. They jerk them around and seem very impatient especially if your dog can't stand still for too long w/o getting anxious. My dog also had all these little cuts all over her from the razor and when I asked about them the cashier just said it was probably because she was moving around too much. I was literally on the verge of tears...I would never bring any of my pets here again. Places like these should think about the kind of employees they hire. It's no different than a child's daycare or an adult daycare center...nobody wants to leave their loved ones in the care of ppl who don't care or who may mistreat the ones they are being paid to care for. read more

Once again, we had Ufuria's in-home pet sitting services. This time we had a combo of Mark and Renee watching Bob. I appreciated Mark letting us know in advance that an additional pet sitter would be assisting him. He set up an appointment for us to meet Renee before we left, in case we didn't feel comfortable with her. Luckily, Renee has one of the warmest personalities I have ever met and Bob just adored her. My friends hired a cheaper pet sitter, and shocked that we were getting text message updates (without asking first) and photos of Bob throughout our trip. I loved that personal touch! When we came home, Bob was happy, comfortable, and our house was exactly how we left it. We were left written reports after each visit and keys were promptly returned. By far the best grooming place we've tried so far! We went here for the second time with our 5 month old Saint Bernard and he was so calm and loved it! He was well behaved (we could see him through the window) and was nicely groomed! They didn't thoroughly clean his ears =[ but overall it was a really wonderful experience! Our dog has been to their daycare for at least 9 visits and one night of boarding. Can't comment on the grooming since we have not tried that service. We adopted our dog from a shelter in March and I've noticed a considerable improvement in his temperament due to the socialization he learns at Ufuria. Initially, the prices made me hesitant, but it's been worth it. The place is clean and the staff are very friendly. My dog gets so excited when he hears us say "Ufuria." They have a FB page and I saw the variety of activities the doggies do throughout the day. You could truly see their love for the dogs. They took very good care of my girl and made her look beautiful. I've never had a dog that required regular grooming before and they were kind enough to spend the time to educate me and were very patient with all my questions and concerns. My dog will be back there for her next grooming session very soon! I also did my research before going on pricing and their pricing was very reasonable. My dog was matted and needed attention and they took care of her and didn't hike the price up to some crazy amount.
