The service at Salon Valbona was very expensive ($300+) and I have frizz/waves 2 days in - so it did not take as I am used to. I normally have stick straight hair after keratin without even blow drying. Maybe the formula used was weaker than what I am used to? Or applying to wet hair (I've always had my hair bone dry before applying) caused it to be less effective? Liked salon and staff, but paid a lot for a service that is probably 60-75% as effective as to what I normally get for 1/2 the price.

Last visit was w/a friend and one of the younger ladies wrote something on a paper to show another employee, pointed to another customer and they both immediately started giggling and judging with their eyes. It was clear they were mocking a customer as the giggling, laughing and heading nodding moved in the lady's direction every time she moved, unbeknowsnt to her of course. Earlier the younger one was loudly complaining how annoying some lady shopping in the back was... while the lady was till there.. O_o I'd have no problem shopping here again if they can get the young girls in check to just do the job and save he smack talking for later.

She is a hair goddess, a magician, a miracle worker. I receive compliments for weeks after I get my hair colored and cut by Liz. She understands my hair "vision" and always makes me feel and look my best. Her work speaks for itself. I have also gotten my brows shaped by Carissa at Bleach and they came out perfect! She is thorough and makes sure your brows look exactly how you want them too. I have sensitive skin and in the past when I've gotten my brows done at other places, my skin would be red for hours. Carissa was very gentle and my skin was back to normal in less than an hour. Overall, I can't recommend everyone at Bleach enough! You will not be disappointed.

I am not in a 100% understanding of the business relationship to its full extent, but I am leaving this review as I am unsure if Bleach is referring their clients to Glisten. I have had a total of about 6 visits to Glisten for eyelash extensions. The lash sylist who operates this business has a friendly demeanor. This is a honest, high-level synopsis of my experience. Food for thought for future clients; Prior to my very first visit, she cancelled due to her daughter being sick (completely understandable). Re-scheduled appointment was cancelled as the stylist got sick from her daughter (also understandable). Finally I had my 1st vist after two cancellations. She then informed me that my next fill would take place at the space in Bleach salon as she was no longer renting her other space. I show up to my second visit at Bleach as directed and she failed to mention that she was at her original location, so I needed to drive back to her... My following fill, was cancelled last minute as she she stated she had a trade show in NYC and did not know my appointment was scheduled.... she also uses the scheduling system that sends clients txt reminders. My next appointment, she made it to... My following appointment she needed to cancel last minute as she got stuck in FL and did not scroll down on her phone to view her schedule to see that i had an appoinment that day. My following visit after that, she made. For my very last appointment, I showed up to the Bleach salon, seeing that the doors were locked and it was closed.... I waited there and she never shows. She then answered stating she slept through her alarm and she could meet me. I get my final fill that day after driving back to Bleach. The next morning, I had numerous fall out that never happened before. I asked her if I could come in this week to have them replaced. She said yes and it would only take 15 minutes. However, she had no availability to do this during the few times that I said I could come in. This sadly the last straw for me. During my short time as a client, she did provide a couple of my fills at a discounted rate due to her discrepancies, however I guess it is my own fault for continuing to return. During my last fill, she did not offer any type of discount, nor am I looking for a free service, I am just stating that nothing was offered after failing to show up again. I messaged her saying I would not be returning as a client & listed the reasonings mentioned above. I said i thought she was very sweet but this was not a good fit. Her only response was, "I feel the same way. Good luck!". The lack of remorse in her response was sad. I never showed hostility so I am shocked. I work in customer service for a living, so I would never result in being a "Karen". But I bit my tongue numerous times. I just wanted to leave this here & share my experience. I will not be recommending this business to any of my friends or family, few which were looking for a new salon this summer. I have two friends who move to Point Pleasant. If Bleach would like to contact me to help me understand the business relationship better, that would be great, as this makes me weary to be a customer/ recommend this establishment moving forward. If any customers from Bleach are being directed to Glisten for her services, this is just a watch-out.

Not gonna lie, during the whole pandemic, I really didn't take care of my nails, like I should have. But as soon as I could get back to Pasch, I was at the door. Now they are all pretty all the time. Appointments are easy to make, plenty of time given, no rushing, salon is clean and comfortable and Jess does an awesome job!!! Going to the salon is my treat to me, and I hate when my appointment time is rushed, we are hovered over or I am made to feel that I am just $$, at Pasch that doesn't happen and that is a huge plus for me. I am very happy as my kids got me gift certificates for Pasch as Christmas stocking stuffers, so I am triple pleased.

The whole inside of the store was cleared out! Disappointed, I looked up eyebrow threading places near me. Sure enough, this place was the first to pop up. I called the store and explained my situation. I'm very picky about who touches my eyebrows. Camille, the store owner, put me at ease and invited me to come in right away and she would make sure my eyebrows were perfect. As soon as I stopped in, she was so welcoming and the shop was very clean. We had a nice conversation, and she shared some tips with me on how to keep my eyebrows cleaned up. Although a little on the pricier side, I won't go anywhere else from now on! Not to mention, this place is 5 minutes down the road from me. Highly recommend!
