First time going to this Ulta last week. Not only did they have people (not ulta employees) organizing/stocking shelves in at least 3 aisles, but they wouldn't move out of your way if you were trying to reach for something. They were standing there talking, and watching you struggle to reach for things they could easily move out of your way for. I also ended up struggling to carry everything I needed, because the shopping bags were absolutely filthy. Like someone wiped their ass on all of them, inside and out. I have seen bags not be perfect, but this was another level. You have to imagine how bad they were, that I preferred to struggle carrying everything. The girls at the register were great and the one girl I asked to help me find something was also great, so that at least was a plus. Ulta, you have to do better about not having your aisles completely blocked and those bags need to be tossed in the garbage. read more

I made an appointment online for a keratin express treatment, about a week ahead. I got a couple of confirming texts. When I arrived for my appointment they told me they "didn't have the product" to do.the treatment. I rearranged my day at some inconvenience so I could have the treatment. Still great service at this location! This is my favorite Ulta down south in Miami. The staff is always very friendly and they have everything well in stock especially now for the holidays. I went today for a cut and blow out for my daughter at 4:00. I got a call at 3:29 from Maria asking if I could come in at 3:30. I said I was 20 minutes away. I got notified via text at 3:44 my appt. was canceled. I called and they put Maria on asking if I was there yet. I told her we just parked. We check in and she told me my service was only for a cut, not a blow out. I told her in the text link it showed both services. But since my appointment was cancelled by them, I couldn't retrieve what I had originally asked for- how convenient. I didn't want to argue so I said we would just do the blow out. She then tells me today is her birthday and she has a party and that's why she didn't have time to do two things. Um ok? So why book me for 2 things and at 4:00 or just have someone else come in if you knew you had a party..... when we paid and I wanted to give her the tip, we were informed she left already. So she basically didn't want to do the 2 services I asked for and then wanted me to come a half hour early which I couldn't because my daughter had school so she can leave right after..... never coming here again. read more

I had an appointment on October 9th for the salon , my appointment was at 12:30 and I arrived 20 minutes early, sat down and waited and the stylist just started doing someone else hair , I wanted to speak to the manager and the clerk said the manager is busy with the most sarcastic way and really didn't care if I was there or not , which this is the impression she gave me . I left extremely upset and figured that the clerk needs a diversity training , clearly I wasn't the skin tone they preferred but my money is still green . Worst Ulta in Miami! I came in store to purchase the sale of 21 days of beauty. They told me only a box of certain colors were on sale so after 30 min I picked 5 colors. When i went to pay they tell me only 2 of all those are on sale. I told me that i had picked them from the front box of the sale items. They said well sorry the system is not marking them. So i said fine just give me those 2. While im paying i started checking online and i notice that all of the colores i pivked are in fact on sale. So i showed her and she says well sorry the system is not showing them on sale. Then another girl comes and says ooo no the thing is that its only 2 per customer! Where does it says that??? Nowhere! Wow. I had never walked into Ulta until this day. This Ulta is brand new located in Pinecrest area. Came here looking for Kylie lip kits. I am absolutely obsessed with her makeup line. I've been involved and in love with makeup since I was a kid. So I know bad and good quality. The Kylie lip kits are highly pigmented so they stay on your lips so long. Just have to make sure to prime your lips with moisturizer before you put it on. I digress sorry. If you're as crazy about makeup as me then you'll love this place. They have EVERYTHING. they have all types of face to hair to skin products. Even saw my favorite sun lotion for sale there. They have perfumes and I think they have beauticians who can give you facials and makeovers at the store. When I walked in I was immediately greeted and helped with everything I needed. They even told me about future discounts and coupons that I can get. They showed me around to whenever I was looking for something in particular. The store is huge. I just realized this store opened up. I had to go I'm a take a peek!! Really loved how there is so much space in between the isle. You don't feel overwhelmed with all the products they carry. Really loved shopping here. Similar product are side by side where you can compare and choose the right products for your ever changing skin, hair, and body! There was a good amount of sales personnel with friendly smiles around to help answer questions and assist with products. Check out was a breeze. Vanessa checked us out with a smile and recommended things according to my purchase that would be beneficial in combination to what I purchased. I enjoyed shopping here because the items I purchased are usually in different stores making it more of a task than pleasure to shop. Here, I was able to shop for all my products in one shop. Curbside pick up review: I ordered online and within 30 minutes got an email saying I could pick up my order. Check in was easy via email instructions. Almost immediately my purchase was brought out in a sealed bag. The sales associate checked my ID and I was out almost as fast as I had gotten there. The product was of course perfect. Will definitely be repeating a curbside pickup and I hope to soon be back in the store post Covid! read more

Had a not so great experience here. I wasn't greeted when I walked in, and even though I was the only customer in the store, I had to wait for the employees to finish their conversation to check out . I usually never make negative reviews but this experience was pretty lackluster. Also, I tried paying in cash, but one of my dollar bills was torn at the corner and they didn't take it. Idk if this is an Ulta rule or if the employee was confused, but she did say "i don't think I can take this..." but didn't think to ask her manager. I had to make a trip down south so I took advantage and returned a gift here while in the area. They have a pretty great selection and I was able to exchange a palette for more mascara which is more my style. They processed the exchange rather quickly and the line wasn't a hassle. I found exactly what I wanted quickly and didn't waste much time going in and out. The store is very clean and everything is stocked perfectly so you won't see a shortage on colors and brands. The blow dryer section is pretty good and they offer some nice sets for a great price. It's right on US1 so it's accessible whether you're heading north or southbound. I find it easier to access than most malls because I can pull up right in front. There's a little bit of everything here so it's super convenient. read more

I decided to try with Carmen today. She was very nice and took her hair washing my hair and I showed her a picture of what I wanted, she told me what would work best for my hair. Carol at the salon has cut my hair twice now. Not only do I love the cut but the blow dry always makes my hair fall just right. I recommend her and there's never a wait. Only thing is if you're a shopper you'll probably end up leaving with a bag of hair and beauty products that you don'a t really need but will definitely love! I LOVE ULTA BEAUTY! This is my go-to Ulta. This new location is very nice and clean. They offer MAC, LANCÔME, and other prestige brands (some stores don't offer this). When I visit this location it's usually for the salon. My salon experience is always awesome at this location, my go to stylist is Carol! She is wonderful! She does exactly what you ask of her and is very friendly! She does amazing blow dry and curls! Highly recommended! I suggest booking ahead of time or calling the store to book your appointment. The pricing of the salon is very reasonable! Online they have pricing for all the services they offer, but when in doubt you can always reach out to the store and they will give you more information. Parking is not a issue at this location, it is located within a shopping center with tons of parking! FREE PARKING! I highly recommend signing up for the Ulta Rewards Program which will give you points that you will build up, so that you can use on future purchases! This place opened up recently by my house and I'm ecstatic about it! I'm here all the time to re-up on my favorite make ups. I'm very finicky and they always have what I want. All the workers and suuuuper helpful! Everyone that comes near you will ask if you need help with anything. One time I came here one woman went above and beyond to find me this particular shade of buxom lipgloss (highly recommended) that I desperately needed. Another time I left some make up at the counter and as I was driving away they called my cell and told me to come back that they would open for me (they were closed already). I usually go to the Homestead location. I've always been greeted at the door, and have had an associate within minutes approach me to ask if they can help me. Today I went and the Pinecrest location. The store was a mess. No one greeted me, or asked if I could help me. I walked the store for 10 minutes before I finally found the Clarins line. Then I walked over to the MAC counter to see if they had a concealer I needed. The associate was dusting and acted as though she didnt want to be there. I realized she could care less if I bought something or not so I asked her if she could help me find it. She came across annoyed and aloof. I ran into Ulta to buy some mascara and a few other items as my husband went into West Marine because we needed to go secure our boat due to hurricane Dorian approaching. I got to the counter waiting behind one woman who was trying to find a credit card to have her credit applied and for 10 minutes tried different cards and the cashier told her she'd give her a store credit which she was refusing. With the manager and two other sales associates standing around when I asked if they could ring me up they said this was the only register open. Waiting two more full minutes I just left my things on the counter as my husband had come in 5 minutes earlier and was ready to go handle the boat. They have lost my business obviously they really don't care about the guest or one of the other associates would have opened another register and had a good attitude about it. Corporate should take a look at this Ulta; it could be much better and has the potential for more sales, if only the salespeople would kick it up a notch or two. I have actually spent about $2000 here buying various hair and makeup tools and other products, and I can't remember ever having a salesperson heavily involved...or involved at all. Maybe they don't get commissions? But if I am buying a $200 hair dryer, maybe they should walk over and offer some tips on how to use it...or offer some positive feedback on customers who bought it and loved it...offer to bring it to the register while I look for styling gel or I don't know...just do some SELLING to the customer instead of standing around chatting with each other?? And shouldn't they be educated about the products? Like, if someone is looking at a $40 IT makeup brush, shouldn't the salesperson know what it is used for? I get that Ulta is the poor woman's Sephora, but I like that about it; I just wish they had staff that really worked it. read more

If I can give this no stars I would!! Well I loved Ulta before they moved to Pinecrest. I called and made a brow and tint appointment a couple of weeks ago and they called me back 20 minutes before the appointment to state that they didn't have an the tint in stock so I would need to reschedule. I called again to make an appointment and confirmed the day before and the day of. When I arrived after being there for 20 minutes as one of the employees went to go get the person, I was then informed that she is not there today. I advised that this is the 2nd time this has happened and that I called and confirmed 2x due to an event I had the next day. The woman states I feel sorry for you. I stated that I was disappointed and left the store. They called me 3x to apologize for the inconvenience. I would think a store manager would of called me but I guess that's there customer service. The last time they called me they said they would give me free product and my wax and tint is for free. So a week later I called and they stated it was only the wax I was getting free. So it's a good thing I recorded the 3 calls and reviewed them again and she clearly offered the wax and tint with a free product. Please don't waste your time and gasoline to visit this place. Word of mouth is everything so I will continue to tell my story. Also go to the one in coral gables way better customer services. I will post this on Facebook and instagram also Twitter.
