I've visited this location quite a few times now and felt it was time I could leave a fair review. Sometimes I've gone in and will browse and take my time. But, most of the time I shop from home and place an order to pick up. Every time I go pick up it's always an off hour, and there isn't a line yet I find myself waiting. Honestly, I could've run around the store and picked up things in the same amount of time I'm standing there. The whole point of buying from home is to get in and out. Usually a couple of the ladies behind the counter are discussing something or someone is giving orders and I understand things need to get done but when I'm the only customer it would be nice to pay attention as they will quickly be able to get back to whatever they were doing. I'm going to start trying a different location closer to me. Hopefully it's not just indicative of the Ulta culture and just specific to this store. That aside the store is always clean and super organized hence the 3 stars. Also, usually pretty stocked so a one stop shop. read more

Had a salon appointment that was canceled 40 minutes prior, disappointing to say the least. Stay away!!

I just spent 2 1/2 hours there for a basic root touch up and blow out. The stylist was told not to dark on the roots. She said she understood and also didn't want to ruin the very good highlights I had. Well, the roots the first go around were purple black!!!! After asking head colorist what to do she applied clear(I think they said) color to lift the dark color. That seemed to help but they next said I needed a gloss and a toner to add color?? Wasn't sure how that could help but I have a big event Saturday. Well, I got home and looked under my bathroom light and it looks like a 5 year old used a black sharpie to draw lines in root area. My daughter noticed also a red block of hair back of head. Not in spot you can hide. This was an emergency stop but really they should have qualified colorist. The funny part is both the stylists and color specialist said oh it looks great. I remained calm throughout the entire process. Not sure why I paid but don't go there unless you know the person that is going to do hair. In 25 years of doing my hair I have never experienced this lack of skill or care. I've visited this location before with very minimal assistance on the floor from Beauty Advisors, Prestige or Management. I'm just now having an opportunity to leave this review, but had visited two weeks prior looking for a replacement blow dryer. It was apparent that they had just concluded a vendor supported prestige event, as bare tables were laid out, and what associates were on the floor were cleaning up. With that being said, there were four associates standing at the cash-wrap having a conversation. Two appeared to be vendors, and two Ulta employees, none of which turned to greet us, or thank us for visiting upon leaving, as the same group was still standing around. With one associate replenishing haircare, and one associate with a guest in skincare. Totaling SIX people who ignored us, as we made our way through the store. Although, I'm a Cosmetologist and don't NEED help finding what I'm looking for, I'm also in the business of customer service, and appreciate when an associate goes out of their way to assist me. Because of this I left, deciding to order my product online, bc I'm NOT going to give my business to such a poor preforming location. Seeing as most Ulta's value the reviews left by guests, provided by the link printed on their receipts, you'd THINK they'd be more attentive. I recently went to purchase make up at this location. When I was checking out the cashier was unable to scan the coupon that is available on the website so she asked a manager to come assist her. A manager came over and said she did not want to help the cashier because she was not clocked in yet. As I was finishing checking out I overheard the manager that did not want to help speaking to a group of people and stated if you can't afford a $28 product without a 20% off coupon then maybe you shouldn't buy it. Safe to say I will not be shopping at this location again. read more

I have heard from other sources that Ulta puts returned items back on shelves and this week they sent me the wrong item instead of the one I ordered and another item that was opened and used and had literal scotch tape at the top. Ulta does not care in any way shape or form about its customers. I am disappointed every single time I deal with them. It's unhygienic, it's dangerous,!it's disgusting and disrespectful and shows a complete lack of appreciation for customers. I have no idea if someone put something in that product that could possibly harm me or poison me or whatever and ulta customer service just really could not care less. I'm getting replacements but no apology and that's after spending two days on the phone on the chat in the app and now I've been waiting multiple days for them to return a text message. It's horrendous and embarrassing for Ulta I am now waiting another week for each of the products I ordered and paid for they couldn't even expedite shipping I don't understand why they hate their customers but I'll never give them another dollar. Also less important I literally got like a 2% discount for my birthday and the website was running a 5% discount. Ulta never stops reminding me that they do not care about my money. I have never been treated this way never ever by Sephora. Never again. read more

I decided to come here on a whim the evening of Thanksgiving since I had heard they would be open. I arrived and was greeted by an empty store. My friend got out the car to read the posting on the door and she told me there was a makeshift sticker that said "closed" and it was placed over Thanksgiving Day. I wrote an email to corporate explaining what happened. I stated if this closure wasn't approved by HQ then they should know because I'm sure I'm not the only who went to the location. In fact, one other person arrived 2 or 3 mins after I did. I still haven't received an answer on why the store was closed. I used to love going to Ulta, but after this incident I've decided to spend my money at Sephora. In addition, I recently saw with my own eyes that some drug store products cost more at Ulta than other places like Target. read more

Went to this Ulta store yesterday with my sister just to browse and pick up a few skin care products. From the moment we walked in the store employees made us feel completely uncomfortable. I almost felt like I was being followed around, which I was. and at first I thought I was being paranoid but even up until I was waiting on line for check out the workers were over bearing and felt like stalking the customers, including me. And not to mention if they offered help it would've been one thing but they were just following people around (other customers in the store mentioned it to me on my way out) didn't offer help didn't ask if I found everything OK just literally stalking. After I left I called one of my friends to discuss how uncomfortable I felt in there and she said she had stopped going there for the same reasons. I understand employees have to watch people for shop lifting products or maybe damaging products but the way that they do it there is to make you feel like a criminal. I will never go back to that store and I hope that someone speaks to the employees there because they really have a good way of making people feel uncomfortable. I went for a haircut and I asked for a simple trim, this woman hacked my hair off so bad that I now have a bob and look like Kate from Kate plus eight, this haircut brought me to literal tears. The manager attempted to fix it but it was so far gone that I think I might have to buy a wig to go out in public. BEWARE..The person who performed the service was Jasmine She burned my daughters eyelids and didn't say anything, just handed me a ticket as if i was going to walk away and pay! avoid at all costs!
