I've noticed the workers here are always rude with bad attitude especially the cashiers and even the managers. I was in line to pay and was waiting for a while. When it was my turn I went up to the register and the girl just walked away without saying someone will be with you or anything. I love that this new location has just opened across from the Main Place Mall. Super convenient location and the aesthetic of the store was beautiful. The only reason for the -1 star was because although there were several employees in the store, we were not greeted or asked if we needed assistance although we passed one young girl at least 4x as she was replacing stock on a display. (NOT the security's fault as he is doing his job and probably was told by the manager to do that) That is totally inappropriate to stand behind a woman and invade her personal space!!! And stayed behind her until the manager checked every dollar FRONT AND BACK AND if it wasn't enough she checked it with a light each bill slowly!!!!! Scribbled almost every corner of the bill on both sides, but not just once but TWICE (LIKE ALL THAT 1ST SCRIBBLE WASNT ENOUGH) after she was done with her bill check, she proceeded to put every item very slowly on the bag (like she doesn't know how to count) It was a purchase of 40 dollars!! Like, really? I would understand if it was the elite products( I buy dermalogica like come on! NOW that's pricey for 1 product) but it was few items that added to 40! I understand they check the bills and all, but why didn't they ring the person in front of us exactly like that and the person behind us!!! The woman infront and the american woman behind us was treated better and WITH RESPECT like WE should have been treated! Ulta shouldn't have a location near a hispanic area if they are going to treat us like that. Not even the Ultas in other locations have ever harrased us, but ONLY this location. I love Ulta and always come shopping to splurge, but I had the WORST customer service by an employee working the register at 7pm on 10/25. Short girl with black hair. I was excited to finally restock on my items and asked if I could use my 20% off my purchase coupon (which is never a problem) and the girl was so rude and unhelpful. She said "you can find it on ulta.com or your email." And i politely asked how i can find it on the app due to that being the whole reason for the app and i genuinely didn't know where to find it on the app & she just stood there repeating the same thing over and over with a blank stare! I even showed her my app to help guide me & she just stood there looking angry. Ive worked retail and i understand that you want to close and go home but cmon, you don't need to look like you hate your job. My experience was definitely ruined there as a customer there. I've always came to this Ulta and never had an issue with the staff everyone's always so sweet & helpful until now. On top of everything else they had a security following me around the entire time I was shopping from the moment i walked in? I couldn't shop in peace, i felt rushed, i felt judged. Every place I would go to he would be right beside me! Before they try to assume that I'm doing something wrong please check your security/staff that smells like weed walking around the store. I visited this location this past Friday and had a very uncomfortable shopping experience. Immediately upon walking in I could feel intense stares from the security guard that was posted at the entrance of the store. I'm not sure why I stuck out to the security guard among many other shoppers, but I could feel him staring at me the entire time I was shopping. Not sure how Ulta trains or directs its security, but it felt very inappropriate as he continued to follow me around and walk by the aisles that I was specifically at. It felt like I was being targeted for potential theft when I wasn't doing anything wrong. It was very uncomfortable and did not make the shopping experience pleasant for me at all. I don't think I'll continue to shop at Ulta given this experience. I'm writing this review in the hopes that Ulta can improve the way they direct their security guards and that they can improve the customer experience for future clientele. read more

Very bad experience. I would not come here for the life of me anymore. I would rather walk across to Macy's where you are treated with respect and that's saying something! I walk in and try a few perfume samples and there was various workers who didn't even greet me or help me through my perfume selection. I was the only one there for that section and really needed help. I don't want to throw race in there but they were helping a white lady and completely ignored me. I'm Mexican American I get that but it shouldn't come up to your skin tone if they want to help you! To put the cherry on the top it was all to obvious that the security guard was following me to see if I was stealing something. I went into this Ulta Beauty on a Saturday afternoon for some shampoo and conditioner. I am a regular customer at the Ulta in Tustin but this store happens to be closer to me that day and again all I needed was shampoo and conditioner. I walked in with my boyfriend to about 5 employees standing in the front and not a word of "welcome to Ulta" or anything which I thought was weird I mean if you're gonna stand in the front of the store at least greet your customers. Anyways I walk to the back of the store to grab my items and I passed a few employees and not one said anything like "can I help you?" Or "what brings you in today?" But these employees had no problem following me and staring at me throughout the store making me a regular customer feel uncomfortable. I will not be coming back to this site. If I could give this store zero stars I will, i have been to other ulta stores and the customer always have been great, I was looking for help since I do not use a different foundation I always get the same one, I never bring my old one because they always look it up on the system and they find for me the brand and right shade never had an issue even if it takes me months to buy the next one, the lady at the cashier her name is MARIA, with a very rude attitude was "trying to help me" by looking in the system and keep repeating her self I only had three purchases in my whole account I keep explaining my self that's impossible I been buying from ulta for a very long time, she kept giving me attitude I had to cut her off and I said " never mind I rather look it up online...
