It was her 15th birthday, and the account was under her mom's name, yet Paloma made the situation far more complicated than necessary. I had to wait for staff to go in the back inventory to locate a bottle for purchase. Then, I couldn't even hold the bottle myself to bring to the counter, like a criminal who can't be trusted. This is the Ulta I often go to, and while occasionally there may be a bit of a wait in line while the cashiers are doing their best, this is a solid location. I was motivated to write a review today because I got really great suggestions from Dan, who is super knowledgeable in a lot of the products. He casually asked when I strolled in if I was looking for anything specific, and when I told him what I was looking for, he let me know that while that brand is only available from Ulta online, he was able to give me some solid suggestions for alternatives. read more

I was BROWsing for some eyebrow products while Erica was working on some nearby. She saw me struggling to select a product and offered a suggestion on the Benefit brow set in a dark brown. I looked at her client's eyebrows and they looked beautifully natural and framed her face wonderfully. I snagged the brow-set in #4 and headed home. The color is perfect and it adds just enough tint and volume to my eyebrows without going Oscar the Grouch. Love the store and love Erica for helping me out. read more

I was so happy with everything, which almost never happens for me in hair appointments (let alone at a new place with a randomly assigned stylist). She matched my tone to my extensions, which I accidentally left at home, via a photo on my phone, and they came out PERFECTLY. I got so many compliments on the color match from close friends, and no one else could even tell they were extensions... Have been to this location a handful of times and asked for Rudy each time. This time, I brought in the person for color matching as Rudy was basing his decision off of pictures (which may be hard to do depending on the lighting, etc.)... in any event we came right as he clocked in and Rudy was able to assist us immediately. He is very knowledgeable and we later learned he does makeup for weddings. He just has a perfect eye for color matching and knows his products... not to mention his demeanor and personality which sealed the package deal experience while shopping. This was my first visit to Ulta, and I was surprised at the good products they carry. Some shelves were a bit empty, so I hope they replenish frequently. I don't appreciate being automatically signed up for promotions as I was here. When checking out they asked several questions (phone#, name, email). Rather, just ask me if I want to join and then tell me the benefits. I did like that Ulta had some trial sizes, although not many. Usually, I ask my hairdresser to order me products since they get such a big discount, but it's nice to know Ulta is available and selling the real deal, and not the fake stuff you buy at grocery and drug stores. read more

Eh, pretty extensive array of makeup/skincare/haircare stuff if looking it as a store in general.....but compared to other Ultas, this one seems to be bare bones. They have some indie brands creeping into the variety, but not as fast as at other Ultas (where's Colourpop?? ;( ). Lack of available swatch samplers (i.e. samplers for some shades of a certain makeup product but not other shades). Idk, compared to the other Ultas I've been to, this place doesn't seem to be well-stocked in general. I pretty much go here because it's the closest Ulta near me and parking is easy lol. If you need to grab stuff that you know is pretty common at Ulta stores, you could visit this one, but if the stuff you're looking for is only at select Ulta stores, it's probably not at this one. read more

I made a last minute order pick up on a Friday night for a last minute event that I had to attend the next day. Knowing I was going to be super pressed for time the event day, I knew I had to get the items Friday night. I went online and put in what I believed to be an order pick up. I might have placed the order 1 hour before closing (I was pushing it y'all- I believe the protocol is at least 2 hours in advance). I arrived at the store about 9:45 pm. I let the associate at the cash wrap know I was here to pick up my order pick up. The associate at front wasn't able to find my order; and she checked several places and systems. Upon further investigation, we discovered I had set my order for delivery and not pick up ... Before I could even say anything, the associate said, "not to worry we have everything in stock so I will just switch it to an order pick up." By 9:58 pm I was walking out with everything I had initially ordered. I truly appreciated how quickly the associate (unfortunately I don't know her name) was able to pivot and solve the problem; especially at the end of the night. Great friendly customer service like this is rare nowadays. I really hope management is able to recognize this associate. read more

My brow gel was discontinued and the one I tried to use instead just wasn't working out so I needed another replacement. Dan was so helpful is showing me products and explained things very well to me. I had other products to get but unfortunately they didn't have them. Same selection as any other ulta store I've been to. When I came in on a Friday afternoon, the store had a decent amount of patrons browsing the aisles. I needed a recommendation for a heat protectant so I was looking for a sales associate, but even after walking around the store 4 or 5 times I couldnt find anyone to help me. There was only one register being used at the checkout so although there weren't that many customers, there was a decent line just to check out. This location seems very understaffed and I only stopped in to buy a hairdryer. I'd definitely prefer frequenting my normal sephora location to receive better service. read more

I was going to purchase a new curling iron and decided to go to Ulta Beauty. What I found was so much more. They are a full one stop beauty salon. You can purchase make up, pamper yourself with a gel manicure while having your hair styled. They can also do make up for a special event as well as waxing. The store is brand new, well stocked and has everything for your beauty needs. The staff are all pleasant, professional and very helpful.
