The person washing my hair was alternating between me and another guest who had arrived at the same time, which made the process feel a bit disjointed and rushed. It would have been better if another person had been made available for the wash as it wasn't incredibly busy in the salon during that time. Finally, when my hair was being dried, I noticed some leftover dye in both ears that had been missed during the wash. It wasn't a big deal to clean off, but I wonder if it may have been missed because the shampoo process felt rushed as the person assisting us was moving back and forth between me and another guest. Overall, Kayla was wonderful and I'm happy with my color, but a few operational details could make the experience smoother.

We were offered help as soon as we walked in the door. My granddaughter was looking for a new lip gloss. Sephora had a huge selection of products from every brand that you can imagine. I didn't care that much about the shape but then I started getting a horrible rash. It is also 18$ when any other place will be 15$ or under. It should not be 18$ to not be happy with the shape of your eye brows and then have a horrible rash.

Came all the way down from VA/DC to get my haircut in a mall in Wheaton, MD…read more Why? The stylist, Andrea. I first started going to her when she was located around Foggy Bottom, DC. When I requested her one day, I found that she had left to take up a management position in MD which was a bit inconvenient for me. I tried going to different stylists in the area, but I wasn't ever really happy with the results. She does an amazing job cutting my hair even though I have a cowlick in the back and want an asymmetrical cut. She knows how to work with hair, and I trust her completely. Perhaps it's because we were in sync in terms of what I wanted, but I gave her little description and she was able to sculpt exactly what I wanted (perhaps, made it even better!). Not to mention, prices were definitely reasonable. $40 for a cut+tip. Look out for coupons/special promos to lower prices. I did think that the front desk was a little slow in checking people in/out, but I wasn't too upset. I think I was just overjoyed with how good my hair looks after months of BLEGH!
