There are so make different kinds of make up to choose from! I love how many varieties whether it's , makeup: foundations, lipsticks, eyeliners, serums, eye shadows, anything for your hair, lotions, shampoos and conditioners , perfumes and much much more ! As I was to figure out where to buy more of my Tinted foundation I was greeted by Amanda C., she asked me if I needed help and I did ! I had some questions about the Tinted foundation and see if they would have a larger foundation. I also had other questions, she and them beautifully! Amanda C. is super kind, caring, sweet, highly knowledgeable, polite, very understanding, and super down to earth! Amanda has this super positive upbeat personality about herself that really radiates! I bought Tinted live Huge stick complexion shade 17, 2 touchland sanitizer scented Rosewater, Blender & sponge & stand, Tinted live huge guard shade 10. Stopped in as it just opened . The usual great selection. We were checked on multiple times. The store was not busy at all compared to the Oxnard ( The Collection) location . It was less stressful being in there lol ! In and out real quick ! read more

She is so sweet and truly cares about making sure you are both on the same page on how you would like your brows shaped. Was having trouble finding my shade and one employee here was so nice and led me over to the Nyx testers and eventually I found my shade. I purchased the Nyx butter melt skin tint and it's such a good product would definitely recommend this ulta! read more

So yesterday I made a review about how happy I was with Ulta Ventura. Unfortunately when I got home I was not happy. So, the distinctive Gentleman that assisted me with what I was looking for. He helped me get the lipstick and lip liner that was perfect for me, however the the primer I needed he told me it was discontinued. Today I walk in the store, He greets me when I walk in today he was wearing a sparkling pink blouse with pink jeans, and pink Hat. So I went browsing the aisles, and I found the primer he told me that the product was discontinued. I went to the front and exchanged the product for what I needed. I was ultimately upset that he just wanted to make a sale just to get me out of the store. Know your products and your customers your approaching. Unlike the Distinve gentlemen, I care what kind of product i put on my face. The young lady that helped me with my exchange, thank you so much with your assistance. read more

They had almost nothing on the shelves for very basic brands like Maybelline & ELF. The staff is very standoffish especially what I assume to be the manager. She asked me if I needed help after staring me down for a couple minutes and when I asked to check if they had back stock of an item (mind you all their shelves were nearly bare so I thought they hadn't kept up with stocking,) she seemed very annoyed. I asked about one more item and she immediately started saying she probably wasn't going to have it, stomped over to look at the same drawer she looked in previously (item was from a completely different brand/area,) shook it around a bit, & then told me no they get what they get in shipment. You can get past the attitude of the staff if they had products in the store but I will make the drive to Oxnard or Camarillo instead in the future. read more

Shout out to Samantha for doing such a GREAT job on my hair! OMGggg, there are NO words that could used to describe her talent. Sam took the vision i had for my hair and made it a really. NEVER thought I could go lighter on my hair, because it is so THIN and FRAGILE, /but SHE DID IT!!! Sam took the time to address all my concerns, and did everthing to protect my hair from damage and breakage. Moreover, at the end of the service, she took the time to show me the products I would need to keep my hair healthy. If you have thin fragile hair but have always wanted to change the color but have been to afraid to do it, go see Samantha for a consultation. I had gone shopping at Ulta the other day (Sunday) and was asking about a product I had trouble locating in the store. I attempted to show the older lady who was working at the front (the one wearing the white dress and the jean jacket) the item on my phone. She rudely scoffs and says "if you can't find it we probably don't carry it" - although I had their app open with that location showing it was in stock (although not always accurate). I then witnessed her doing the exact same thing to a DoorDash driver, refusing to show any customer service and actually HELP the customers in the stores. She acted like she had no idea what DoorDash was. If you don't have customer service skills or know what they are, do the public a favor and work where you have no interactions with people and don't have to know what your store carries! I had gone in the week before and was helped by a young lady who was new to working at the store and walked around and helped me find every single item I was looking for with no problem whatsoever. read more

The new Ulta location in Ventura is beautiful! I went in to get my brows waxed at the benefit brow bar and I was blown away by Sophia M. She took the time to map out my brows, explained everything every step of the way to ensure I was happy and then styled them after the wax. My brows have never looked so good in my life! Not to mention she was super sweet! Thank you Sophia; I will definitely be coming back! read more

Honestly, my own fault for trusting that ULTA had professional and knowledgeable stylists. I went in to get a hair cut and GOT BOTCHED. It's uneven it's not what I asked for I will be spending months with a hair cut I did not want. I have been getting my hair done for years, and I know many cuts require styling but this cut has no hope. My only hope is my hair grows back soon. Worst of all I had to pay for the service even though it's not what I wanted. Genuinely the stylist was nice but I would never trust another Ulta stylist. Even ones with experience. Please just go with an actual professionals in established salons, my girl was temporarily out and I thought I would go to Ulta, literally won't even be shopping at this location anymore. I was super excited for this new Ulta location in Ventura to open and it did not disappoint! As I got my steps in around the store, my daughter wanted to get her eyebrows done. How convenient that this service is offered and that a lovely brow professional was available! Sophia was extremely attentive with my daughter and I was very impressed with her work.
