He installed a fan in the dryer, but it turned out also to need a new motor. He ordered the motor and microwave handle and came back 3 working days later to finish these tasks. The price was reasonable. Because he had to come out twice for the dryer, he did not charge labor the second time. He was courteous, efficient, and in the end totally effective, saving me hundreds of dollars for a new microwave and dryer. If I had any wish, it would be to clean up the floor after his work, but I think cleaning is not part of most service these days. He did remove old parts and boxes. He also found lots of coins under the dryer and bothered to pick them up for us. I would not hesitate to call him again if I needed his services and I recommend him to every one. You don't always find someone as competent and responsive as Mo Ben.

I was a little skeptical with all the five star ratings but we gave Zee a call. They sent Zeke out and he took the top off the machine and started running it. He noticed right away that one of the valves was leaking. He checked the rest of the machine and said it was in good shape otherwise and the valve could cause the odor Rich noticed. He looked up the replacement part cost and gave us an estimate with installment. The machine is old but the repair cost was reasonable and with assurances from Zeke that he didn't see any other problems we went ahead and booked the repair. A few days later the part arrived and Zeke came back out and installed it. Very good service, Zeke was courteous and efficient. We may have a new go-to appliance repair service.

I already had a refrigerator replacement scheduled but reconsidered because a) this baby's been reliable since 1999(!), and b) today's appliances are made to last only half as long. At best. Rapid Fix was among the first who reached out. We scheduled a visit, a guy showed up and figured out what parts to order. Paid for the parts upfront, once they arrived another appointment was scheduled the following Monday. They were swamped on Monday but the tech lived close by, so they showed up in the afternoon anyway and had it all fixed up. The total cost (parts + labor) was around $550, which was much better than getting a new refrigerator. I'm happy with that, especially since I don't believe that newer is always 'better'. Thanks!

The new technician that came, Abdul, was also very nice. Cross my fingers, I believe he fixed the problem. I am very happy they sent Abdul to come make things right after my bad first experience. As I had no other way to verify this, I took them at their word and accepted their explanation. For full transparency, however, it is worth noting that this communication came less than 24 hours after I had posted my initial review. The repair technician arrived at my home the same day, and spent approximately 90 minutes going back over the previous repair work and going much more in-depth in this second go-round. After completing the work, he explained what he did, what he found, and then ran a cycle through my dishwasher. The next day, I ran another cycle, and the leaking issue had been fixed. As I am someone who does believe in giving people and businesses second chances and opportunities, and because I have seen them perform excellent and professional work before (see my original review), I am likely to give them my business at least once more to see that this experience is an outlier and not their typical course of business.
