I've been going here for decades. Always excellent. Today, I drove by; the place is empty with a "for rent" sign. Hope they're all ok.

I have never posted a bad review but I will let the photos tell. I spent $65 + tip on a powder manicure that looks like this. I just got them done tonight, was the last person in the shop. Instead of confirming the work was done nicely, they closed up and sent me on my way. Definitely addressed some of the flaws and was asked "what I did?" Felt like as a customer my satisfaction was not a priority. read more

I really needed to get my nails done, and before the remodel, I frequented the nail salon. So I figured why not give it a shot regardless of the higher prices for SB nails. Anyways im ok with splurging when the service is worth the price. I was surprised when she told me it was $115 but didn't mind cause if they last, it's worth it. However, I feel the service was poorly done. After my service, stuff kept getting stuck under my nails (which is annoying af since I work with flowers all day); one chipped, and another broke all in the first week. Those things normally happen at the end of the second week which is understandable but right after is very frustrating. I got a full set with gel, and the second day my gel peels off my thumb.. I've been getting acrylics for 10+ years, and not once has that happened to me. Moreso, the following day my middle nail cracked off. The place I went the time before was nearly half the price and they lasted me over three weeks. If I didn't work with my hands and have people looking at my hands all day I wouldn't mind as much. read more

Very disappointed. First time trying this place out. Only one person doing nails. I was there for almost 2 hours. Very disappointed on how much I war charged for dip powder on my own nail. Usually will cost me $50-$55 anywhere else in town. She charged me $50 PLUS $25 extra to take off the previous dip I had before. I've NEVER in my life been charged to take my previous dip off at any other nail salons. Total of $75 for one single color NO DESIGNS!!!! read more

My experience here was unsatisfactory and I don't recommend it. I've been getting manicures from various nail salons for many years and have never been that uncomfortable. I was polite and patient when they were unable to do the design they'd agreed to do. Despite this, they were so rude to me it made me cry. I'm a big supporter of small businesses so I am disappointed to have to write this but I will be taking my money elsewhere. read more

Pretty disappointed in this place. Not worth the money by any stretch of the imagination. I paid $55 for a "deluxe pedicure" and it didn't even come with callus removal. Worse, the hot stone "massage" was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've had, it was like she'd never done it before. It kind of burned my feet and had to ask her to stop. The polish job was pretty messy. She was very nice, but it was a bad experience overall. Two stars for the customers service and the massage chair. read more

My time while in the salon was not noteworthy, the service was good. The only thing was that she did not bother to check my nails after putting on the clear coat so I had to ask her to file the sides because the gel polish was stuck to my skin on the sides of multiple fingers but that would not have been enough for me to write a negative review. I'm writing this review because I am beyond disappointed in the fact that my nails did not last even a few days. I am very experienced in getting dip manicures as I have been getting them for a few years and by various nail tech so I am familiar with about how long they should last me. Keeping in mind im not harsh on my hands and manicures usually last me at least a couple of weeks with no signs of wear. For a $65 dip manicure on my natural nails (which is much more expensive than anywhere else in the area) my manicure was chipped within a couple of days, by day 3 a few nails were chipped and the polish on all of my nails were chipped/completely peeling by day 5. Not just little chips but the whole tip of the nail or edges on pretty much all of my nails. The picture below is from 5 days after my manicure. walked in with my bf's mom for a pedi each. Three people working at the time; we're guessing mom, dad, and daughter. Got to us right away and were friendly. Isn't the type of salon I would call high end. Dosnt have a million colors so if your looking for a very specific OPI color you might want to bring your own. Great colors to choose from though. I would have liked my girl to buff my heel a little more and I don't know why so many nail techs buff the sole of your foot The best part was the foot massage was sooo long and actually good! She actually pushes in to the sole of your foot and does this punching motion on the sides of your shin that sounds loud but feels like it's doing some good to your muscles. I want to say the pedi was $32. So great spot to get in and get out and have great looking toes! read more

I asked for a spa pedicure and they were so busy they put me in a chair and dipped my feet in a plastic storage tub, covered in a trash bag, filled with hot water. There was NOTHING relaxing about this, more like work having to keep repositioning my feet on this tiny platform. Sometimes I don't make my needs known, but today I requested extras, such as the hot stone, extra time with foot and hand massage and at this time, I am feeling the bliss hours after the pampering. Make an appointment when it's quieter, and ask for your preferences. Today I asked for especially hot water, less time on one area, more time on something else. As someone who is very ticklish, they accommodated me with attention to areas other than the heel of my foot. With something that feels this good, you'll want to return. A possible suggestion, look carefully at the options of the massage chair. In the past I just pressed the button without thinking of the options, such as a slow massage. I happen to be in the neighborhood and after a day of errands, dog cleaning and cleaning, I looked down and thought: I should probably also have clean nails. I walked in and it was a quarter to 6pm, the sign said they close at 5pm on Sat, so I was about to turn around but the gal inside asked what I wanted and then instructed me to sit in station 1. I opted for the regular pedi $20. Spa pedi I think is $27, maybe $25. The regular was just fine enough for me, I am not a fan of those "massage" chairs. The pedi took about an hour and I didn't catch the woman's name that was working on me, but she was pretty thorough and nice. I recommend for a quick and well done pedi. PS: As I was sitting there it was a quarter after 6, and another gal walked in and they took her too. I though that was pretty nice of them, but considering that it's summer, they may want to do some summer hours. And I parked on State, but I'm not sure if there are other lots, but the parking was sort of annoying. read more

First of all, they wouldn't give us the shape we wanted because it wouldn't look cute on a short length. New to town and tried several in town but no availability on a Sunday. This place was open when I drove by so I stopped and they had a opening after 20 min wait. Pedicure was ok but gel nails horrible. Looked like fat marshmallow nails and so bumpy. Went to another salon few days later. Run down older salon. After going to Hugh and Yen for many years tried mani and pedi with new owners. Really like the new interior of the shop, very light, gentle, fresh appearance. Service not so good, was disappointed. Even though there were no other customers, very rushed and no attention to detail. Had a buff mani, asking for attention to cuticles. Didn't happen, even filing not even, very little buff. I just stopped hear on my way back from a music festival. My feet were so incredibly dirty and sore and I had toenail that was practically in half. The place was clean and friendly and I walked right in and got an appt without calling ahead. He must have massaged my legs and feet for at least 10 minutes and was very careful to avoid all the bumps bruises and cuts i had everywhere while still doing a nice job. read more

They burned my face and I am now desperately trying to use ointments and cold compresses to mend what their horrible products and waxer did to my upper and lower lip area this past weekend. Unsanitary. The woman giving my my manicure had a cold or the flu, and kept sneezing. They don't swap out tubs in between customers, just swirl cleaner in the bath. My girlfriend and I got pedicures there and both of us came away with athletes' foot. I hesitated to write this, as it feels bad to tell a business this, but perhaps this is a chance to clean up their act. read more
