They did tests that I requested and we discovered my daughter had strep/scarlet fever(even though she didn't present with normal symptoms). I'll be bringing her back here whenever she needs care, even though we live in the south west of Albuquerque.

I needed to see someone on Saturday, 9/5, because my issue had gotten worse. I tried to make an appointment, but they were full. So, I drove up there--past the sign that says "Walk-In Clinic"--and went inside. I spoke to the receptionist, who told me I could not be seen that day because they only see patients by appointment. I looked at her and said, "But the sign you put up every day on the road says 'Walk-In Clinic.'" She looked at me with a straight face and replied, "Yes, you need to walk in with an appointment." Seriously? If that's how it works, then I guess if you made an appointment but arrived in a wheelchair, they wouldn't see you either. Calling yourself a "Walk-In Clinic," advertising online that you accept walk-ins, and putting a "Walk-In Clinic" sign out by the road--only to turn away someone who actually walks in because they don't have an appointment--is beyond ridiculous. I hope there is a special place in hell for the administrators at Presbyterian and all the trial lawyers in our state legislature who have helped put New Mexico healthcare in this position.

Paid upfront but I ended up getting a bill in the mail for over $200. I called and they said they would send it back for review. The next month I got another bill in the mail. I called again and they could not answer me why I keep getting charged. I called a 3rd time and again they said they would send it back for adjustment. Now I got a collections letter. This place is ridiculous. I will NEVER go to a lovelace location again. I'll stick with UNM."

The only complaint I have is they are not great at sending in prescriptions. Usually this isnt an issue, I just call the clinic and they ship it over to my pharmacy within half an hour. This time was very different. I went there yesterday with an appointment time of 1, for a sore throat. Tested positive for strep, and was told they'd ship over an antibiotic prescription. I was very sick, and went home after the appointment, because I couldnt stay awake. I woke up this morning, and went to my pharmacy just after they opened, about 930am. No prescription. I call the office and am told the practioners are busy, and will get back to me. I call an hour later, same story. I call 2 hours later, same story. I call again around 4:30 in the afternoon, and the lady says she'll look into it and get back to me. It's been almost 20 minutes, and still no call back. Im at my wits end.

Against all desire we had to go into an urgent care. I had been here once before, and they were quick and kind. This visit was no exception. From the front office check in, to the nurse and NP, everyone was extremely kind and helpful. My mom felt at ease with her care, and they allowed me back to ask a bunch of questions!! I will definitely be coming back for any further issues for myself and my family!

My sister had taken a bad fall and we were concerned she had broken a hip - they got her xray'd there on the premises and the Radiology Tech was also so caring with her. We were told that we'd receive a phone call with the results after the Radiologist read it. We did not receive the call, this didnt upset me as I do know that things happen, not a problem - I began trying to obtain the results since first thing this morning. Its now 150p and we just recently, after many tries finally received the results. I was so impressed yesterday at the care she received - today...I'm done! If you like the run-around, this is your place...sadly. Healthcare is terrifying already, why it needs to be so difficult I just dont understand :( Do better Duke City!!
