Asked for acrylic pink and white ombré and this is what I got. You can see the white line clearly when it should unnoticeably transition. Nails were filed too short and if you zoom in, you can see there's little black hairs that are now glued inside and that's on every nail. The technician was a nice guy but this is unacceptable for $60. He said to come back within 3 days if something is wrong but honestly the whole thing needs to be redone. Forgot to mention, they actually experimented with a new ombré set on me that they ordered a few days prior. Even though I chose a different pink, the tech still ended up using the darker pink instead which made my nails look enflamed. Very disappointed, won't be coming back to this salon. read more

I went in for a fill in and got charged for changing color, shape, and length. That seems a bit excessive considering the shape and length was provided by a previous nail salon........... Charging $5 for color change also seems excessive and ridiculous. Do you all expect clients to keep the same nail color after 2 weeks???? I decided to give ultra-nail bar another chance and I am happy that I did! I showed them the imperfections with the previous set and they repaired my nails beautifully. I previously got sns with tip extensions in snowflake, this time I got sns ombre. Ombre is extra, there still is no notation of this on the website. Overall I paid $20 outside of the $45 for the full set with tip extension. I'm not sure if that was all for the ombre or if it was the sum of shape, ombre, and maybe length although I would consider these medium length. Regardless, I am happy with my nails and the service I received. I have received so many compliments already! There were several technicians who work on my nails. The first, Lee, removed the damaged nails and sanded down the others. Jenet, who did most of the work was absolutely fantastic; I cannot brag about her enough. She was extremely attentive and meticulous and I really appreciated that. She held my fingers side by side to compare my nails and ensure they were the same length and shape. She most definitely took her time and made sure I liked the length and shape several times throughout the process. I asked her to do a narrower coffin because the last time I was upset with the coffin shape I left with. It was very wide and uneven. I also asked if she could do stiletto shape on my pinkies. Jenet's shaping is everything! Once it came time to apply the ombre powder, Brenda jumped in. Brenda was also very attentive and clearly experienced. She applied the powder on my left hand and finalized the shaping on both my hands. All three ladies were very helpful and friendly but Jenet was absolutely fabulous. This location is a bit far for me so I'm eager to try the midtown location next but if you're considering going to this location, ask for Jenet! read more

They offer mimosas, wine, and sodas, and have two cute butterfly pedicure chairs for little girls. They offer quite a selection of pedicures starting at $25, as well as regular, shellac or gel, and dip powder (powdered acrylic) manicures. They also offer acrylic, pink and white, and crazy designs if that is your thing. There is a huge selection of colors and they use OPI, Essie and other types of nail polish. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. During this covid pandemic they are SUPER clean- constantly cleaning seats/chairs/counter tops after every use. I called to check if they accept walk-ins and the girl who answered was pleasant and said they do. *Few minutes later* I walked in and the girl behind the desk greeted me. She said it would be about 15 minutes which was totally fine with me since I didn't have an appointment. It didn't feel like 15 minutes--in fact, I had just the right amount of time to look through their basket of colors (literally they have a basket full of colors you can choose from for a dip powder mani) before the nail tech came over. I've never had a dip powder mani, but wanted to give it a try since it supposedly lasts 3-4 weeks. [I stopped getting my nails done at salons because the mani (even gel) would never last long enough to justify the cost and maintenance.] (I'm a flight attendant so nail polish doesn't last long whatsoever.) The tech was polite, but very quiet and never introduced himself. He asked if I wanted my nails shaped and did a decent job. All in all the dip powder manicure was great! The only negative I have is that he did not clean up my fingers at the end. (My skin around my nails are all shiny and some have the powder color too.) I brought it to his attention and he didn't really seem to know what to do to get it off. He said washing my hands at home would make it come off... Regardless, I will return with my mum and sisters over the weekend for a pedi while they get mani&pedi's. Side note: I read reviews about them having mimosas and did see the bar area where they have quite a few options. Halfway through my manicure the girl behind the desk asked if I wanted a beverage. Disappointed with the experience that I had because I really wanted to love it here. I got a gel mani after not getting my nails done in over a year, and was not impressed. The color I picked was an opaque color (not see through), but was transparent and unevenly applied on some of my nails due to inconsistent application. I got them done on Tuesday and they have already chipped on Friday (3 days later) with no cleaning or heavy duty work being done on my end. You can see the brush strokes on my nail beds and can see where polish was applied outside of my nail bed. I tried to live with it because it's been over a year since I went to the salon, but it's not up to par with my expectations. read more

I went back this morning to get my nails redone and the tech Jennifer was very good . I like my nails short and she was able to cut and file my nails to the shape I wanted while keeping them short . Also, this time I came home with no cuts. I have to also mention the owner Larry who made it a point that I was happy with my manicure - such customer service is rare these days . I had to take off one star because both times I was booked for deluxe manicure but got the regular manicure when seated but to be fair they charged me only for the regular manicure .
