And serendipitously had the color I wanted which is a violet red. My pic includes the before, the cut before styling/color, and the final result the morning after bc by the time we were done, it was night time and I could not get a good picture of the color with regular lights. This happened a while ago but I have finally had the time to process what happened and I am still traumatized by my experience here. I went in for a root retouch on 3/4. My hair was already platinum blonde when I arrived so it seemed like a simple job, I just needed to get my roots redone. The stylist I went to Jiji greeted me with a fairly bothered attitude from the beginning. As soon as she applied the bleach she thought it was a good time to tell me the cost of the simple root touch up ($150, a little higher than what I expected since my hair is so short they definitely need less product than most jobs) Half way through processing I felt an excruciating pain on my scalp! I had chemical burns on the top of my forehead! After washing out the terrible uneven bleach job I had brown hair in some places with brass hair in other places. The Jiji proceeded to apply a toner to try and fix the bleach job.. that turned my hair BLUE. I started crying as the stylist proceeded to tell me I still had to pay for this terrible experience. Luckily the manager intervened to tell me I wouldn't have to pay but left me feeling like they didn't care about the damage and time wasted at the salon. They gave me two small hair products with the value of $50. Bare minimum of a sorry and made it very clear she didn't want to invited me back for them to prove they can actually do good hair. After that Jiji faulted to the only thing that could possibly make it okay, dying my hair brown. Not only did she dye my hair brown, a color I did not want or ask for, but she got the dye all over my scalp - no doubt to cover the burns she caused me. At this point I've already been at the salon for hours, and went from bleaching my roots to going back to a darker brown, which was extremely damaging for no reason. Not only was her personality rude, but she was also terrible at her job - like pick a struggle. This whole experience is very disappointing and I hope this stylist has been fired and lost her license. Whatever you do, do not see Jiji.

I have to wait outside and only one customer is allowed so it's pretty good, she wears masks. Accepts credit cards. She's also nice to talk to. Convenient parking in the back of the building. Free. My first ever perm was actually done here and the results were fantastic. I've been coming back ever since. She does Asian hair extremely well. I get a two-block haircut with a wavy perm on top and she always gets the volume and wave pattern exactly right. The curls come out super natural looking and hold up really well between visits.
