Went with a large group for dinner. They have a robot that zips around with drinks. We opted for the AYCE A. The side dishes that you can get refilled were things like macaroni salad, tofu, and pickled cucumbers. Those were all just ok. I believe we ordered every single meat option we could. It was a little hard to tell what was what. I did figure out that the Vietnamese pork chop was my favorite, although they limited how many you could order. Everything was tender. You get a couple of dipping sauces, but I didn't know the names. There were a few people that were taking our orders and changing out the grill. A couple of them didn't seem friendly. We probably should've kept track of the time but it seemed like we were cut off early. I would definitely come back to try lunch and not an AYCE. read more

Service to start was slow. In my opinion, since this restaurant is new... maybe think about asking, is this your first time here? Or can I explain how the menu works? can help a customer. Our first server took a bit to get to us. Our second server was great. The soju drink was delicious but spendy. Made by human, delivered by a robot. Now on the the food: I love hamachi so I had to order it. It was pretty good. Nice flavor with a little crisp to the skin. We ordered the Unami hot pot special bc it was just simple, and the 3 of us didn't have to agree on or decide what to add. I did not care for the soup base, but the meats and fresh veggies were good. The service was not great at all, they dropped the food off and quite literally did not check on us until we're finishing. We ran out of sauces & had empty drinks. We had 5 adults and 2 children under 5 and we were charged 18% gratuity (which was $55) when she changed my card came back we clicked no tip and some how another $10 got added. Overall food was decent I was disappointed we ordered the biggest bbq plate that's $295 and you get one tiny bowl of lettuce and one tiny bowl of salad was not enough for even everyone to have some. I think they need a lot more work and time before they can start to serve people. I had to wait more than an hour before there was food on the table and I went during a not-busy time. I was a party of 3 and was told to put my name in the waitlist. There was no one in the waiting area and I was happy to plug my info in the machine upfront. Soon a party of 6 arrived after us and they were taken in to be seated first right away. Then they had us wait for another 20 more min at least. No explanation. Even after being seated, we had to wait 20 min to have anyone coming to us the table. Then waited 30 min until we got our drinks after that. I had to call someone who looked like a manager to check on our drinks. The big table of 6 was already feasting by that time. After waiting for the food over an hour, everyone at our table was upset and I felt bad for choosing this place to try. Once our foods arrived, it looked very underwhelming (you can see it in the picture). We ordered their Dinner beef broth special with supposedly lots of meats and vegetables for $79. It had a tiny little ox tail (like one tail end) and a few shreds of beef tendon tribes deep in the bottom of the soup. Beef ribs were mostly bones and very chewy. It was different than what I would normally call the Chinese hot pot. I couldn't believe I was paying $79 for this soup. Vietnamese coffee looked like someone took a big sip before giving it to me. Too much ice and not enough juice. I ended up adding water to it as I drink it. Appetizer chicken was tasty. I expect it to be tasty for 6/$18 though. Foods overall was yummy. Green herb sauce was pleasant and overall flavorful. The flavor profile for the entire place was more in Southeast Asian like Vietnam, I think? Definitely not Korean bbq, not Japanese or traditional Chinese hot pot. I was hoping for something more like Haidilao style because the ambience was on point. It felt like an elevated (and over priced) pho restaurant. It's going to be a while until I would go back to try again. read more

I think they can really improve on the portion size or price, we ordered chicken wings which i thought were pretty good (8/10 good flavor) The drinks were great highly recommend the mango passion fruit tea (10/10) It was the actual grill portion that was disappointing.. we got an order of pork, and got 5 small slices that costed $25 The chicken thighs were also smaller and we got 2 pieces for $25 The veggies were just a small amount of mushrooms, zucchini & a quarter corn. + you don't get rice so you have to pay for that separately as well. There was only one dipping sauce and small side of kimchi.. Tried the bbq here. We ordered one serving of pork belly, pork shoulder and the beef short ribs. When I asked how many oz per serving we got (it's like 5 or 6 slices). Take that for what it's worth. Overall good experience/meal, however there was something real weird about the pickled cabbage, it tasted like it was soaked in fish sauce, as opposed to vinegar which we were told. The rice was old/dry, and we also weren't sure how to eat the cut up romaine lettuce. (Too tiny for wraps although we tried) Our waitress and the server kept turning the heat down and up respectively so our bbq wouldn't cook fast enough and then the next minute be burnt to a crisp. The $6 Vietnamese coffee was literally like two sips. Nothing special and you could easily replicate this at home. read more

Underwhelming honestly... If you plan to eat here (at this time).. expect a loooong wait to be seated and for food to arrive. Approx 30-40 min to be seated (its a new resto so thats fine), then it took ~45 minutes for the uncooked meats/seafood, our server never offered to explain the menu (gave us 4 sheets + the lunch menu?). Perhaps nextime I'll just try the lunch menu and appetizers. Anyways, My table tried the BBQ grill which was sadly not flavorful or savory (where's the UMAMI?!) and too pricey for the amount of meat and seafood that you receive. $20-$36 range for the meats/seafood... so kind of expecting a platter right? Naw, there was 5 small slices of pork belly for $25. So of course we ordered more meats and scallops for 3 of us. Also, the sauces?! Chimichurri (their signature green sauce) really?! for everything to dip in?! Where are the choices? It wasn't flavorful either! Then a bowl of chopped lettuce and a small side of "pickled veggies"--- aka kimchi. I was lost with what was offered. The cocktails were good, but extra small. This place still needs work... great decor though! I'll give it another 4 months. Then possibly check it out again, but for now. Definitely holding off on the BBQ grill. read more

Great Food & Service I've been to this establishment for lunch and had a wonderful experience, so I wanted to try it out for my Dad's 72nd birthday dinner. Once we arrived at the restaurant, the owner, Tan, greeted us and immediately seated us at our table. I've come here 5 different times and I've never experienced this type of service, ever. We ordered the largest meat combo $295 for 5 adults and 2 small children under 5 years old. The food came out pretty quickly but we were not given enough sides. Everyone had a rice but we were only given 1 small lettuce, 1 small salad, 1 small Mac salad, I small tofu and 1 small pickled veggies. We ran out of sauce very quickly and were waiting for our waitress to come back to ask for more sides and sauce and she didn't check on us until we nearly finished with all our food(30-40 mins). We cancelled a drink because it took over 15 minutes to get. They added a $55 gratuity and then asked us if we wanted to tip on top of that and we said no but we're charged an extra $10. I'm just going to say it! I paid $134 for a steak, 5 pieces of Korean rib and 7-8 rolled pork! There was no seasoning but their one house seasoning and they give you a huge bowl of lettuce to "eat your meat like a taco".... I was very disappointed, even with the walle server! Excited to try this place for the first time. It was such a disappointment. Food is extremely high priced and portion size was obnoxiously small. One hockey puck sized ramen noodle biscuit for several people!? First time visiting ordered ramen for the table of several people; when one ramen puck came out I asked, is that for all of us!? Answer was yes and to break it up. Looking closer at the menu a day after the fact, Ramen could be ordered at $5 per puck. The server didn't say to order per person either and knew it was very first time in as we were asked and we said not sure what to do or how to order. Ramen is cheap! One ramen puck should not cost $5. Please do better. You will get more customers coming in and returning by not charging obnoxiously high prices for EVERYTHING. Tried 2 different broths for $25.....Barely any flavor....one spicy one not...I am sensitive to spice and the Szechwan spice broth had zero heat, but it had cloves in it that numbed your mouth if you bit into one unexpectedly. It cost $32 for 15 paper thin slices of beef. One watered down sesame seed sauce dish for multiple diners. Long wait to get ingredients to the table, which seems to be a common issue reading other reviews. Vegetable tray was not sufficient. Might consider vegetable tray and price per number of customers or offering packages like the $79 deal and how many people it serves, because for two people that is still expensive. Very few vegetables for $25 and not enough to go around. For example, one inch wide corn on the cob and two thin slices of squash for a table with several diners. I came in expecting to be wowed by flavors, instead I was wowed by the high cost, small portions, lack of flavor, and left hungry. We will not be going back. read more
