Definitely the best spot in Ponce city market. The new management and staff are wonderful and the drinks are exceptional. The food is top tier- you see the manager and staff working on it throughly to make sure it's passed all the parameters before they send it out. The flavors are OUT OF THIS WORLD. The bulgogi beef tots are insane, the kimbap is a perfect Korean sushi, the dogs are perfect. Gotta try it. Definitely coming back!

We got a couple apps here before going to dinner. It's located in the new wing of PCM which is trendy and cool ambiance. Kind of like a food hall, like the rest of PCM. Lots of places to sit. You order at the bar which took me a sec to figure out. But the bartender was super nice. Me got the bulgogie tots and the fried chicken bites. It's a LOT of food so know that! It's a bit salty but overall a tasty appetizer. The bowls people were eating looked really good so I may try that if I come back.

For my craving of vegetables I was hoping this would be more like traditional bibimbap. The veggies included were more like bagged salad : raw cabbage and some lettuce. The chicken had way too much black pepper which is not what I would think of when eating it. It overwhelmed the palette. Despite the flavor it was not dry or overcooked so that was nice. The egg on top was perfectly prepared. Overall it was a decent stop for a quick lunch of fresh food.

I love great Korean style comfort foods, however, we noticed something tonight that I have never noticed before. Firstly, we don't stop here for drinks at the "Bar" we stop here for well made korean food. We just happened to be in Seoul last summer with my korean family. My dad ordered the shrimp skewers that came in a togo box with no skewer in sight. My son had the korean fried chicken. While it had great taste, it almost felt like it came from somewhere else! My wife had her favorite the Bulgogi tots! They were good, but the bulgogi lacked its normal flavor. Then there was the gimbap/kimbap. There are several places I enjoy buying this classic korean dish. If you are interested, HMart Doraville, back by the kimchi section near the checkout, or the little food stall closest to the Tous Le Jour Bakery, Harue cafe in the same shopping center has the best gimbap in Atlanta. WHY! would I spend $13.00 for you to cut the very ends off each side and watch you throw the best part of the gimbap roll in the garbage! Any Korean person knows that the ends of the roll, even though it is not the most pretty part, is the best part of the gimbap! I really wanted to shout at the gentleman preparing our food, but I chose not to and thought maybe he just did not know. I am not saying we will not come back, however I am saying don't throw perfectly good food in the GARBAGE!

Wanted to grab a quick snack before a concert. Umbrella Bar is a food vendor in a corner of Ponce City Market. Almost missed it since it's a bit hidden! The umbrella decor hanging from the ceiling is super pretty. Service was relatively quick. Ordered japchae dumplings and a honey dew melon slushy. The dumpling filling didn't really taste like japchae; they honestly tasted like dumplings you get from the freezer section of a grocery store. However, the honey dew melon slushy was sweet and refreshing! Interested in trying their other flavors like mango & strawberry lemonade. If I'm ever in Atlanta & revist PCM, I might try their other food options!

I thoroughly enjoyed eating at this restaurant while on a trip to atlanta. We went into the shopping center for a specific store and happened upon this restaurant. It was in an area with several of their different Asian inspired places. I ordered the steak bibimbap and my sister ordered the panko chicken. The guy at the counter recommended the steak and it was really good. The flavor was great the food was hot and the sauce was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed eating here and would recommend anyone else go as well. The only thing that I really hate it while I was there where the bugs. There were several flies and gnats that were in the area while we were eating and made our experience A Little Less Pleasant. Outside of that I really would recommend them and look forward to trying something else in the future.

Ponce City Market is full of a variety food and shopping vendors. After taking a lap around to see all the options, we diced to order bibimbap from the Umbrella Bar. The food was pretty good, but it felt like something was lacking. Overall, it was a great inexpensive lunch that left me satisfied for hours after. Probably not my first choice of where to eat out of all the options.

Umbrella Bar was hidden off in the corner and a bit more quiet than the central hub of ponce market. The vibes were cute, with Asian umbrellas hanging from the ceiling that helped create a street market feel. The drinks were very yummy and made strong. The bartender was sweet and chatted with us while mixing our drinks. The owner also stopped by and offered us to try a new menu item for free to help gain feedback. I loved how much he cared about his business and his guest's perspectives. We ordered a Korean corn dog, but it was just okay. The hot dog was cut in half, so the breading and the cheese were super overpowering until you got to the hot dog part.

Located on the first (ground) floor by William Sonoma. Look for the umbrellas. Order by the drink bar side. Pickup on the other bar Ordered the 3 Kimbap: two kimchi and 2 crab stick. $32.94. The crab stick and kimchi Kimbap was really disappointing. The carrots and veggie were not cooked in sesame oil. The rolls are thick and sloppy and none of the ingredients tasted fresh at all. Probably the worst Kimbap consumed so far.

Confusing way of ordering but once we got that figured out, the food came out relatively quick and we all enjoyed our snacks. You place your order at the bar, but the food menu is posted on the larger center counter. We tried the Korean corn dog and the bulgogi tots. Food came out hot and plentiful so no complaints there. This spot is located in a food hall with a hip vibe and plenty of seating even during a busy Saturday night visit. Parking was a bit crazy, but not any worse than any other downtown spot.

On August 1, 2024 around 8:30pm we sat down at the end of the bar, hoping to have a couple drinks and some appetizers. The woman behind the bar came over to us and didn't say, "hello", or "welcome", or indicate in any way that she was happy to have paying customers. Instead, she told us that we were sitting too far away from her register for her to serve us. We were a little taken aback, but waited for her to come back so that we could inquire about this. After about 5 minutes she came back and once again told us we were too far from her register to serve us. She wanted us to move into two seats that were in between other customers and closer to her register. Well, we had selected the two seats at the end because I have reduced hearing and find it difficult to have a conversation in packed areas. We opted to leave. If she was too lazy to walk an extra 8 steps to serve us, we could take our business elsewhere and did. The Jai Szechuan bar just a few doors down was happy to have our business. The seats we were sitting on in the Umbrella Bar can be seen from this picture. My question to Umbrella Bar would be... if where we were sitting (the location from where this picture was taken) is too distressingly far for employees to possibly walk to... why are there stools there in the first place? Seems odd.

Listen, listen...no food but the ambiance from the speaker and the service is always top tier...don't order anything but the casamigos slushie. You won't regret it!

Cool new Korean street food bar in Ponce that's great if you're craving Korean food in the area as I don't think you have a lot of other options lol. I had the spam kimbap and my bf had a corn dog and bulgogi tots. Food came out pretty fast even on a busy weekend lunch rush, and we just sat at the bar since there wasn't an open table nearby. We both liked all of the food, the only downside is you can get similar tasting Korean food elsewhere in Atlanta for much cheaper.

The Korean food scenes got my wife and I hungry every time! Having been to many of Atlanta's best Korean restaurants over the past decade, Stone Bowl is a clear notch above the rest. The side dishes are just simply better with robust authentic seasoning and unforgettable flavor that leaves you craving for more. The kimchi is spot on for spice but not overwhelming. The potatoes are to die for, cooked to perfection, tender and absorbent of all the nearby flavors. For the first time, we tried the Korean sushi roll (K-Pop Demon Hunters was calling) and it didn't disappoint. Stuffed with fresh cooked bulgogi and veggies, we ate it so fast we were left thinking of Korean sushi rolls had an edge over Japanese sushi rolls! And we also got the poached dumplings for the first time and almost went as fast as the sushi roll. The authentic style of poaching the dumpling made it taste homemade from grandma's kitchen. The sizzling plate of bulgogi was amazingly put down the gullet on top of everything else. Consistently on point and warms the tummy. Service is cordial, but somewhat aloof and distant at times because we would have loved an offer to refill our side dishes, but admittedly they are often busy and we don't go there to expect Michelin dining service levels. We come for the food. Awesome food. And Stone Bowl House will be seeing us again before long.

Despite this, the restaurant was vibrant on a rainy midweek day... Almost full to capacity with patrons. Happy my partner recommended this restaurant! I sat at the bar to place my to go order and was greeted promptly by the bartender. He brought me water and provided the QR code to order. The gentleman next to me was enjoying the Bimibap which looked very enticing, but due to the cold weather, I wanted something warm. Soup was not an option and was directed to the glass noodle dish. The glass noodles were of a sweet potato consistency and included several vegetables. I did not know that the bone marrow mentioned in the description would be an actual marrow, quite large that was discovered once I dug into my dish at home. The flavors exuded were right on point! The portion was also ample for a second meal. Will definitely return to sample the Bimibap on a warmer day and possibly some of the drinks offered. I truly enjoyed the waiting period at the bar, striking up conversation and viewing Misery which was being projected on the wall... A true horror classic. The vibe is super cool -- eccentric in the best way, intimate but still lively. They had a movie playing on a projector, which gave the space a whole artsy, underground feel. Now, the menu isn't exactly pescatarian‑friendly, so I couldn't go too crazy, but what I *did* try was solid. The Kimchi Fried Rice was a little on the bland side for me -- I expected more punch since it's kimchi, but the portion was perfect. Most people pair it with their signature chicken dishes anyway, which makes total sense. The Kimchi Crab Cake, though? Absolutely delicious. Packed with savory lump crab, crispy panko coating, and a little lemony finish. YUM. My boyfriend got the Gaja‑style chicken and was obsessed -- crispy, crunchy, tossed in their famous sauce, topped with tofu ranch. He cleaned that plate. Now let's talk drinks. I ordered the Sledge‑o‑matic Lover, and this is the perfect spring/summer drink. Cucumber jalapeño tequila, house‑made watermelon syrup, a splash of lime, a hint of lemon... perfection. It's listed as spicy, but it's really not -- and I'm not a spicy‑drink girlie. This one is fantastic. The service was great too -- warm, attentive, and quick. The food came out faster than expected, everything was hot, and every dish looked beautiful. Gaja really surprised me in the best way.
