Shrimp tempura, lamb skewers, chicken wings, garlic edamame, side salad, and soup

It was a good 1st experience, the food and service were top notch! Would recommend this to anyone. The atmosphere is chill and good for lunch and possibly for dinner. Cost was relative and easy to have conversations.

NEW owners & name, I went today and had the sushi & lamb chops. The owner Kyle was soo nice and the food taste fresh and good. I love that this small cute restaurant is near my house, it has an intimate chill setting, fun art ceiling, and cute back drop on patio for group photo ops. Nice setting for a cutesy date night. Everyone that works there was kind and hospitable. I'll be back soon!

not sure what i would rate this as a sushi spot, but as a skewer spot 5 stars. the dry rub (cumin based) is perfect and everything is grilled to perfection. we got the lamb, chicken cartilage, pork intestines, and boneless short ribs. the latter was spectacular. the grill whole squid was perfect. i've never had it look so beautiful either. the sashimi platter was better quality than i was expecting actually. was not a fan of the enoki mushrooms and clams, but my brother seemed to like it. staff was nice, though they did leave out one thing we ordered. it was soon delivered to us after we asked though.

Had dinner here tonight to celebrate a close friend's birthday The food was absolutely delicious -- super fresh, beautifully presented, and everything tasted amazing. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends and good conversation. If you're looking for a great spot for sushi and Japanese food, this place is definitely worth checking out. We really enjoyed our time here and just wanted to share it with friends

Since it was a birthday celebration we ordered agedashi tofu, gyoza, chirashi sushi, sake don, salmon lover roll, unagi hand roll, salmon skin hand roll, 2 - three item bento boxes (one with salmon teriyaki, chicken teriyaki and short ribs and the other with salmon teriyaki, sashimi and beef teriyaki. The service was attentive and everything was tasty and fresh. I enjoyed my salmon skin hand roll, my 3 item bento box with salmon teriyaki, 4 piece sashimi (2 tuna 2 salmon) and beef teriyaki. The sashimi was fresh and tender, however the beef was alittle chewy and not as tender as I expected. The complimentary birthday dessert was a tasty treat and we all shared. This place is a go to for my daughter and son-in-law and they picked this place. My first time here and it was enjoyable, with good service and good food.

We got there around 7pm on a Friday. It was busy but we got sat pretty quickly. We ordered 2 miso soups, tofu, fatty combo sashimi, and 2 rolls. After about 30-45 min, we received our tea, miso soups, and the tofu appetizer. After about an hour, we got our sashimi. And after sitting for another 30 min, we decided it was time to cancel the rest and get our check. All the other tables were getting their food and we were just sitting there waiting. Waiting that long for food is unacceptable. And after all that, all we got was a sorry and "here's a 10% discount card for next time." I don't think there will be a next time.

My friend Holly drove all the way from Sacramento so I was keen to make the trip special in every way. Conveniently located, the restaurant accepts reservations, and there is an option to be seated at regular tables or in a lovely traditional Japanese styled seating area, where you dine seated cross legged! The only hitch is if you do plan to enjoy this seating you must come with socks. Lucky for us, we were able to buy a couple pair of nylons to enjoy the traditional set up! For dinner, we chose the omakase option, which is the chef's choice of some of the most fresh delicate and buttery sushi I've had in a long time. The size of the nigiri was just right, proportioned well with not too much rice and garnishes where it actually made sense as an enhancement, versus a detractor from the freshness of the fish. I also took a chance to order an appetizer of fried chicken knees! They were tasty and exactly how you might imagine them as gristly chewy and very satisfying for an adventurous eater like myself! We finished our meal with a lovely mound of mochi! The staff was so kind and very accommodating, especially after learning my friend had traveled so far to dine with them. I will definitely come back and wish them great success as an exceptional sushi experience in their local area.

It's a pretty big space~ We got a variety of things to try as we got there right before happy hour was over. We got 4 pieces of oysters- pretty tasty! Everything was great- from the smoked duck breast, lemon pepper Kama and the nankotsu. I wish there were some dipping sauce of some type for the nankotsu though!

We ordered at the kiosk (although you can save if you prefer to pay by cash). Our ramen was very filling with plenty of yummy toppings. The texture of the pork was good with a nice char and the eggs were perfectly jammy. No shortage on corn-I love corn in my ramen! We also got some fried goodies on the side, the corn fritters were perfect.

The soup dumplings were served at a good temperature (hot enough to enjoy right away), with a soft layer, crunchy base, and a flavorful broth inside. They were juicy and well-seasoned, and best enjoyed carefully otherwise the soup will spill. The complementary hot tea was a nice pairing that helped balance the richness of the dumplings. The interior is minimalistic and clean, which I really liked. It feels modern without being cold or overdesigned. There is Wi-Fi. Parking was easy, and there was no wait to get seated when I went in on a Wednesday afternoon (12:30 PM) which made the whole experience smooth and easy. Overall, a solid spot for soup dumplings when you want something quick, warm, and well-executed! I would say this is one of the gems in San Leandro.

The restaurant is located in a strip mall with ample parking. The restaurant is decorated nicely, and there's a counter where you can eat and watch them make the food through a large window. Service is friendly and fast. There was no wait for a table on a weekday for an early lunch.
