LA Vegan thrilled with new hometown restaurant! Home for the holidays and stumbled across Dearborn's first vegan restaurant via YELP! So happy to see this establishment in town. I ordered the hot & spicy sausage with jalapeños and sriracha. Brussel sprout potato hash for my side. I went with my best friend who's actually a chef who had never tried beyond before. He opted for the off menu Philly cheesesteak and said it was "amazing and one of the top 10 sandwiches I've ever had." It was amazing and wish I would have got it. Called in a quick pickup since my friend and I wanted to get lunch and they live in Dearborn heights. They said 10-15 mins, took 13 mins and it was ready when I walked in. I'm not vegan but I'm trying to do a no meat diet for a few weeks. Christopher was very nice and kind. It's a small shop. Although they've been opened for only three months, they already have regulars that they know by name. The fries are air fried but I've used an air fryer for chicken and fries so I know it doesn't taste the exact same as with grease. So this is basically the healthiest French fry you can get. I ordered the bbq burger. It was pretty tasty. It's semi expensive but if you are really vegan you would find it worth it. read more

Walking around the Henry Ford museum makes one hungry. I noticed this place was saved in my collections because I'd wanted to try it out, and that it was right around the corner. We each had what I think was called the dee dee dog. They were scarfed down within just a few minutes. I'm usually not a fan of fries with seasoning but these were good. The guy who helped us was probably the owner. He seemed genuinely happy that we were visiting and was very nice. When we are back in the area we will definitely come back! read more

Absolutely blown away with this place, what isn't good here. The food is delicious and wholesome, the staff is kind and energetic and the drinks are refreshing and tasty. Awesome to have a vegan restaurant in Dearborn! I went yesterday and had the mac style burger and slaw. The burger was tasty and huge! The slaw was more like guacamole with some cabbage thrown on - tasty, but not what I was expecting. I think it'd be better as a burger topping than as a side dish. My husband and I are from out of town and stopped in for lunch. He ordered the fish sandwich and I had the black bean burger. I was happy to discover that they not only serve vegan food, but healthy vegan food as well. So many places have so much added oil. I was able to avoid the added oil by ordering the bean burger. The mayo is aquafaba based, which is better for me. My husband ordered the deep fried fish sandwich.... not an option healthy enough for me, but I had a bite and it was wonderful. My husband, who does eat actual fish sandwiches at "regular" restaurants was pleasantly surprised by the taste and texture of his sandwich. He is a self described "fried fish snob" and actually said that this was better than many of the fried fish sandwiches he has had elsewhere. He said if he had not known that it was vegan simulated fish he would have not known. This is a high compliment from an omnivore. The restaurant is cute and has a large selection of desserts, as well as healthier sodas. We will be back. Highly recommended. read more

This is typically my first stop every time I fly into Detroit. The only problem I have with this place is trying to figure out what I want each time I go there. The Beyond sausages are all great, the Ultimate burger is great....I just haven't had a chance to try them in all of their forms. The one non-negotiable every time is the Brussel sprout and red potato hash...have to get that every time. Service here is outstanding too. Oh my GAD THIS PLACE IS SO GOOOOOD. Got the ultimate mac burger and it was perfection. Other vegan spots I've been to will give you a tiny slider sized sandwich with measly sides for what you pay. This burger was practically as big as my face! The side of fries was pretty large too. The flavor was perfect. The patty was meaty and well seasoned, and the cheese added the perfect creamy cheesiness, the pickles added the perfect amount of acidity to balance it all out. My husband who normally isn't into this kind of food was shocked at how delicious it all was. He couldn't believe a burger with no meat and no dairy could taste so good! If the owner is reading this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HURRY AND OPEN A FERNDALE/ROYAL OAK LOCATION!!! For the time being I will make the drive here, but I'm hoping they expand and open more stores! I've been hearing about this place for months and finally made it there yesterday. I was not disappointed- everything was SO good. The in-house veggie patty was one of the best I've had. Chili cheese fries were a hit. But, do yourself a favor if you go- get that side of brussels and potato hash. I know what you're thinking- "meh, I could make that at home!", but you're wrong. Wow, Unburger kills it (without killing anyone). The homemade cheese sauce, ranch sauce, and burgers are really, really good. I'm a fan of some spice and heat but this was too much. I was only able to eat half because the bun had been soaked in siracha or something similar. I decided to go ask for some of their house made cilantro lime "cream" dressing to see if that would help cool the burger down but....it did not taste like cilantro or lime. It was a gross baby food green sweet purée of idk what. I paid 81 cents for it and tossed it. The green kale side we ordered was super mushy and bitter.
