I wanted to share a recent experience I had at Uncle Berto's Burritos in Five Forks, Simpsonville, SC, which left me quite disheartened. Having visited the place before with a friend, I decided to take my mom there for lunch today, as she had never been. My mother is handicapped and has a handicapped sticker for her vehicle. When we arrived driving separately, I parked in a standard parking spot and waited for my mom to join me. Upon her arrival, we noticed that the only handicapped parking space in front of the restaurant was being occupied by their food truck, which was unloading supplies into the store. We patiently waited for a few minutes, hoping that the delivery personnel would move the truck. Seeing no change, I went inside the restaurant to seek help from a manager. I was informed by an employee that there was no manager available to speak with. I politely requested if she could help ask their delivery crew to pull forward, allowing my mom to park in the handicapped spot. To my dismay, the employee laughed at my request and refused to help, displaying an unwarranted attitude. Feeling both upset and disrespected, I informed her that I would have no choice but to call the police to address the situation. She simply laughed at me again. I went ahead and called the police to resolve the issue, but I'm truly disappointed in how the situation was handled by the restaurant staff. In light of this experience, I've decided not to return to Uncle Berto's Burritos for any future meals. I wanted to share my story to raise awareness about the importance of respecting and accommodating all customers, especially those with special needs. I hope that both the management and staff at Uncle Burto's Burritos take this as an opportunity to improve their customer service and prioritize the needs of all patrons. read more

I have been to Uncle Bertos on multiple occasions, and my experiences are always amazing. The food is delicious, complete with a salsa bar for a customizable treat. The prices are amazing for the amount of food you receive. One huge burrito (which comes with chips and beans) becomes two meals! The service is so friendly and genuine. I've never waited more than 10 minutes for a meal to be prepared. Wonderful place! Of any Mexican restaurant I've ever been, Uncle Bertos is by far the best. read more

I love love love the chicken Gorditas! This is 100% authentic Mexican food in my opinion. The verde tamales are also very tasty.
