Absolute garbage. Overpriced, slow service with exceptionally bad food. Shells in my eggs, frozen half baked bagels. This place is the tourist trap of stone harbor and Avalon. Also cash only so they don't have to properly report their taxes. Avoid at all costs, this is the worst breakfast on the island. read more

home fries are apprently deep-fired and particularly lame. Ask to substitute. Coffee was good and service was ok. Food came reasonably quickly, a little slow on the coffee refill, but not too bad. Pancakes are ok, but not great - just had the regular. It is very convenient to walking Stone Harbor and perhaps the great location translates into no need to compete for customers with great food and service??? People were nice and the place was clean and pleasant. read more

Seriously overpriced ($10 veggie omlet that doesn't event include home fries) and food was just ok. They don't take credit cards either.

My husband and I had breakfast here and ordered eggs, pancakes and home fries. All was good (hard to blow eggs and pancakes) but the home fries were basically cubed French fries. Yes, they were deep fried! Yuck! I found this kinda shocking and couldn't eat them at all. read more

What a disappointment! I had very fond memories of Uncle Bill's from our LBI days, and even the one out front of the Congress in Cape May. The food was really bad. It's really hard to ruin breakfast ... or so I thought. I think I'll just keep the memory and make my own from now on. read more

We stopped by, because it was the only breakfast place open in early June. The scrapple was pretty good, but the eggs Benedict (Will's Special) could've been much better. The hollandaise sauce lacked flavor, and there was very little of it. For the price, I would definitely go somewhere else. read more

Really nothing special about this spot. Come here every year as a tradition. Service is nice and fast but food is marginal at best. Poached eggs were hard as rocks. BLT is standard, nothing special. Side of fruit is generous and has berries which is nice. But overall just a standard no frills pancake joint. read more

Food is hot and served promptly. Had to get up twice to ask for coffee, twice. When I told them that the automatic faucets in the men's bathroom was not working, so I can wash the sticky syrup off my hands, the manager argued with me, that I was wrong. Stone Harbor standard. They were fully renovated and expanded before the 2013 season. The family's secret recipe is almost as good as their business model. Good food, quick service, friendly waitstaff. Cash only and they mean it, so be prepared, and remember to tip as these kids work real hard. In the summer season there is a large line outside but it moves fast. Recommending the French pancakes, banana pancakes, and omelets. read more

Our server was such a sweet girl. She was friendly, knew the menu, and was attentive to our coffee with refills whenever we got low. The food came out very quickly was all tasted amazing. This is a pricey breakfast place with ordinary food. I felt somewhat abused when I brought a fairly large family group on my daughter's birthday and learned they don't take credit cards. This likely serves Uncle Bill's well financially, but it is an inconvenience to their customers. I will not be back. read more
