I have been going to Uncle Jon's from the time it was located in a little non-winterized cottage and all they sold was muffins. Their blueberry muffins are still the best--the coffee is delicious and reasonably priced. My newest favorite is their chicken salad wrap with cranberries and pecans, and fresh greens. Delicious!! We ended up regulars here. It was not bad for the first year we started going (late 2016) but seemed to go downhill over time. A high turn around of teenagers working the counter which I guess has to be expected, and usually they're doing ok. It's expensive - maybe that too is to be expected for the cost of rent/lease in Marion. The food is usually quite good. Coffee is decent but overpriced. We used to get panini sandwiches and they'd come with a little bag of Cape Cod chips. A month ago I got one and when the girl didn't give me the chips, I asked. She said "oh they don't come with chips anymore." Awesome. Price didn't go down though did it? So even less value for your money. AND - last but definitely not least - its frequently dirty in there: counters and tables, even when you walk in and there's no customers, and 4 girls behind the counter standing idle. I've also read a few other Yelp reviews saying the place was dirty, so I guess the owner doesn't care. Watch out owner - there are other places to get coffee! Service here is so bad. A well trained manager could really help train a well intentioned staff who find themselves in the weeds with just a few customers. Few options to choose from in area for specialty coffee drinks so willing to put up with aggravation once in awhile. Inefficient layout feels creates so much wasted space and it feels dirty. If service wasn't so annoying, I'd feel sorry for staff. read more

First let me start by saying I am a firm believer in great customer service, especially when the customer drives a half hour to your cafe and spends $6.00 on one drink. To say the owner, a blonde middle aged woman, is rude is an understatement. I order my drink a specific way because hey, I'm spending $6.00 shouldn't I be able to drink it the way I like it? The owner took my order personally and was extremely rude. After telling her it did not taste right to me she handed my drink to an employee and asked the girl to try it and tell her it tasted fine. Last I checked I was paying for the drink not your employee. Not only was she rude to me but she was extremely rude to her employees. Not only will you no longer receive my money but all fellow friends and family who used to love the coffee will not return.........simply because you should not own a business, nor should you be in charge of anyone or anything. read more

My husband and I are fairly new to the area but have discovered Uncle Jon's where we have enjoyed coffee and bagels. We were hosting Passover for the first time in our new home and did not have time to bake dessert. I placed and order at Uncle Jon's for flowerless chocolate mini cakes and chocolate chip macaroons. I am completely thrilled that I did. The dessert was beautiful to look at and truly delicious. The macaroons were some of the best we have ever had. read more

I moved into town about a year and half since then I have been have lunch there about 2 a week. There sandwiches are incredibly. I love the chicken salad sandwich. Plus on Saturday they have Ma's donuts which is my all time favorite. read more

I have been coming to uncle johns for many many many years and the coffee is great but there alil over priced and the food is ok but not great... the staff is good and friendly but unfortunately they never have things that match...example... spoons and forks but no knives, sandwich meat but no bread, coffee cups but no lids, etc... read more

I have been a strong supporter of Uncle Jon's for the last 7 plus years. There coffee was always fresh and hot. Their food choices always looked delicious. Lately though things have changed with the coffee. Go there afternoon and you are almost always guaranteed a cold cup of coffee. When you question the coffee after your first sip. They offer to heat it up by the steamer. This adds water to the coffee making it awful. This now has happened to be the last 5 visits over the last 3 months. I spoke with others who I know went there everyday around 230. They had the same complaint. I also found that this seems to happen only at the Marion location. The Mattapoisett (shack) gets it right. An institution! Their curry chicken salad, Asiago bagels and spinach & feta croissants are my favorite! A great spot for a quick coffee, a meeting, lunch or doing some work on a laptop. The staff are friendly and professional and the products are consistently good. Their Mattapoisett location is a bit smaller with less variety, but a great outpost! read more

Coffee is about as good as it gets here and the sandwiches are delicious. The service is pretty hit or miss depending on who is working it seems. It can take upwards of ten minutes to get through a relatively small line and it never seems like anyone knows who is waiting on which customers. First time there, don't think I'll go back.. Not a real clean place.. When the front if the house is not clean, it makes you wonder about the rest of the establishment.. Absolutely awful. The way I have seen the management treat staff is almost inhumane, these poor people get yelled at by an older blonde woman with a crazy look like they are animals. Also, I have seen the "homemade" soup come from a plastic bag. The place is disgusting, the tables are lopsided, the paint on the walls is spotted and chipping, the carpet is always dirty and has crumbs. The muffins are rock hard, and I have often times purchased a stale croissant. Also, I have purchased at least 3 iced coffee with grinds at the bottom. Don't even get me started on the prices; it is way too expensive for such poor quality. I will never go there again after finding a hair BAKED INTO in my muffin, and see flies in the case with the bakery items. read more

A bit pricey but excellent place to enjoy a delicious lunch. Everything's in the window case all freshly made that day. I usually get a small salad or a scrumptious veggie wrap with advocados. Try their latest... cupcake pumpkin cheesecake...oh my goodness...you'll be back for more. read more

Uncle Jon's has the best bagels in the whole world, in my opinion. Their cream cheese is also to die for and goes wonderfully with one of their whole wheat bagels. The chai is also amazing and I get it every time i go in. Wonderful service and great atmosphere. read more
