The associates knew the lingo as I ordered my Italian beef "naked and wet". He said, "I know what you mean, let me take care of you". Service was quick and all the staff friendly. If the owner is at home, then he/she can rest assured they hired the right group to run this place. The place is clean (including the restroom), staff were excellent and there was plenty to look at while you wait. The menu is extensive, but from the pictures there are a few other sandwiches I wanna to try. I will be back again and again!

Sandwich was the Tail Dragger sandwich (Black Forest ham, oven-roasted turkey, pastrami, salami, Swiss, provolone, and mayo on sourdough) along with Jalapeño Beer Cheese soup. The sandwich was spot on, well toasted with a satisfying crunch, melty cheese, and layers of flavor in every bite. The soup was equally impressive: rich, cheesy, and savory with just the right amount of jalapeño kick without being overpowering. There was a fairly large group of older / retired folks who had just ordered when I arrived. Whether they were waiting on a charter flight or this is a regular Wednesday gathering, the place had a fun atmosphere. Despite the crowd and several pending orders, my food came out faster than expected. As an added bonus, the Vegas Golden Knights' jet was parked on the tarmac, which was very cool to see. This place reinforces my theory that FBOs and semi-private airports often have some of the best hidden gem diners and bistros, places usually known only to flight crews and private pilots. My wife ordered a bbq pulled pork sandwich that she said was fantastic as well. This was a very simple lunch that was made better by such an incredibly personable staff.
