It was a wonderful experience where they showed you the whole process of making coffee from picking the coffee bean and ready for sale. I must admit, I'm not the biggest fan of Kona coffee from what I tried at Heavenly and at other local spots, but for what it is, Heavenly makes a good product. I wish they would have let me take a to-go cup of coffee after the tour, especially after paying for two tickets + $70 of bagged coffee, but they unfortunately limited me to the little sample cups with no lids. That's the only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review.

I sampled Kona coffee from several different places while on the island, and the coffee here was hands down my absolute favorite. Their prices are very reasonable compared to the heavy tourist areas, and the quality is amazing. They roast everything on site and grind it fresh right in front of you, the whole place smells sooo good the moment you walk in. On top of the incredible drinks, the service was fast, efficient, and super friendly. You can also buy bags of their 100% Kona coffee right in the shop to take home with you, I actually bought several bags to bring back and give as gifts to family and friends. Big difference between their beans and the dry discount Kona beans sold at the farmers market. They are a little hard to find off the gps just look for the Aloha Adventure Farms sign and go past Aloha Adventure and follow the signs to Coffee Tour. Did someone say haupia espresso martini? Yes please! I also recently learned that if you come in wearing HiCO merch that you get a small discount, how cool is that?! Another pro tip: I asked for one of their lattes as a matcha and they were able to make that happen for me. Once again, the coffee is 100% Kona coffee and so good. We arrived on an early weekday afternoon, an hour and a half before close. We spent a good half hour exploring along the route and taking pictures to and back. They offer a shuttle service as well, but they run at certain times. The shuttle times are posted on a sign at their gift shop, which is located at the end of the route. It is also recommended to pay $5 cash at the top but you can also pay the entrance fee at their gift shop. Last time allowed in is at 2 pm, an hour before close. If you make it in before that time, they will keep the gates open. If no one is in the property around this time, they will close the gates.
