I used to go to Jet City Pizza which was a block away from my home in Kenmore. It was great back in the 90s but steadily went downhill, and then began to disappear altogether. I like Uncle Peteza's. For delivery pizza it's pretty good. They have a white chicken pizza that is pretty tasty and even the regular pizzas are good. I like that it's a locally owned neighborhood kinda place. The owner is involved in the community and is super nice. Every time we have ordered delivery it was has always arrived, hot, delicious and within the time frame promised. My family just loves the bread sticks and garlic ranch sauce. I ordered tonight and the driver rang the doorbell and stood on the curb ( at least 20'feet away) and made sure we got our order before leaving to ensure no contact (covid). Uncle Peetza's also provides the pizza for our kids' school events such as Bingo and provides the pizzas at such a reasonable price . I'm not sure he even makes a profit. All in all- we love their pizza, service and their community involvement. I just wish they still had their Greek pizza that they had at their other location. It was amazing! Thanks for always providing our family with such great service and food. We've been getting pizza here every Friday night for 15 years. We LOVE Pete and his amazing pizza. He and his staff are super focused on providing excellent customer service. Their Spuds and Bits pizza is a must try if you've never had roasted potatoes and bacon on pizza! In addition to the excellent food and service, Pete gives back to our community with providing free pizza for middle schoolers to enjoy on Monday nights at Frank Love elememtary during the school year. So many of our local young people have learned the ropes of what it means to do a job well by working here. Just can't say enough good things!!! read more

We have gotten pizza from here a few times. However, when I am paying, I am always surprised with the total. They have a different price on their website vs when you order. One time, I asked them to swap out the salami with chicken and they charged me extra for it. You also have to pay extra if you paying by credit card. It's always extra on extra on and on. I hate this about them but my husband loves their pizza. So I have to deal with their surprise total bill each time. It sucks! read more

Have ordered from here before and always had a good experience, until last night. I called and ordered a pizza at 8:30pm and was told it would be 45 minutes. At 9:45, I called to see what was going on. A man answered the phone who was VERY rude and told me the phone number and address where incorrect, so the driver could not deliver it. I repeated my phone number and address (again I have ordered here many times before...no database of customers??), and asked what part of the information they previously had was wrong? He said the last digit of my phone number, and made it clear that this was not their fault, but mine. He said when the driver got back, he would send her back out. At the moment, I thought, "what, does the driver not have a cell phone?" but, then I realized that maybe they were trying to make up for it a little by making a fresh pizza....WRONG. At 10:40...2 hours and 10 minutes after the original order was placed the driver showed up. She was apologetic and said the person taking orders that day was new and had "screwed up a lot of her deliveries" that night. I asked if they had caller id on their phones (I am not aware of any phones that don't have caller id these days, and in a delivery business, one would think that would be essential), she hesitated and then said, "no." She handed me the bill, which I signed, and tried to shake off my frustration, thinking, "at least I will finally eat a good pizza"....WRONG AGAIN. When I opened the box it was a cold, rubbery pizza and the salad had wilted. This experience was unprofessional, unnecessary, and the food was horrid. Additionally, I had to pay for that type of service. A real disappointment from a local restaurant that just had it's 25th anniversary. If this service persists I have trouble believing they will or should have anymore anniversaries in the future. They certainly will no longer have my business, and I love pizza and supporting local business. It's a shame. read more

With so many options for pizza in the area, it's nice having a very local owner who supports the local schools, teams, and charities. With that said, to me the quality of the pizza and value is just "okay". I prefer a thin crust wood fired pizza or a true New York style pizza, where Uncle Peteza's is and in between. This is pretty decent pizza. The specialty pizza's they have are really hit or miss. They have good specials, run coupons regularly and support local schools and are active in the community. Yes, the owner, Pete, is one of the nicest guys around. He REALLY is! He's active in supporting the Bothell / Nike Hill community and deserves every one of the accolades posted here. He's the reason why we continue to get pizza here. That being said, the pizza is so-so. The crust (at least the thin & crispy crust) is bought wholesale as is the canned sauce. And I'm sure the toppings are from bags or cans too. Gourmet pizza it ain't. If you want that, go to The Rock. But for basic Pepperoni Pizza and a salad, Uncle Peteza's is OK. After a failed attempt to make it down to Canyon Park during a random blast of snow the other night, we stopped by Uncle Peteza's to give them a try. Since moving to this 'hood, I've probably driven by several hundred times and never thought of it twice because I'm not a big pizza fan. A man who we believe to be the owner took our order. He's a friendly, cool guy, my other half said he reminded him of Fonzie. The shop was buzzing due to the snow and the closed roads around. It's small, has a few tables and chairs, and is adjacent to an ice cream shop. We went with the Spuds & Bits pizza, stuffed bread, and the Teriyaki wings. The damage was $25, not bad compared to your local chain. Ran over to Sid's next door for some beer and our meal was ready to go in about 20 minutes. The Spuds & Bits was a totally unexpected win! It was like loaded baked potato skins on a pizza. I figured if I didn't like the bread/cheese/sauce consistency, I could just eat the toppings, but the whole thing was delicious! A I tried one wing, and it was pretty good, however my main squeeze killed them to the point he was sucking the bone, so they must have been great. A The stuffed bread had potential, but it was undercooked and doughy. I chalked it up to it being a busy night, so I'll give it another chance one day. When my boyfriend and I asked (of someone who I assume was the owner) what kind of meat they use in the meatballs, he got a kind of 'deer in headlights' look and sounded as if he were coming up with the answer on the fly. We ended up ordering the spaghetti and meatballs anyway, and what we got was a handful of spaghetti swimming in a watery sauce with two grayish, Sbarro-esque meatballs. The pizza was A-OK, but nothing to write home about. I've had pizza from them delivered a few times over the last 3 years. Today was by far the worst experience I've had. The pizza arrived nearly an hour after they said it would, and it was cold. When the delivery driver came to my door she did not have a receipt for me to sign for my credit card and due to that she received no tip. We absolutely love Uncle Peteza's. My boyfriend's dad managed to somehow convince Pete to deliver to their house, which is on the very edge of their delivery area. We order from here at least once a month. We often get the Supreme or the Meatsa. As a couple, we have yet to find our perfect topping combo. :'( Anyway! They deliver Yia Yia's Ice Cream and it's SO good! Moose Tracks is the best. They have really good stuffed bread sticks, too. Out of ordering pizza from them that many times, we've only ever had a complaint about how the pizza was made maybe one time. It was probably a sub cook that day or something. This place is right down the street from my boyfriends, so I wanted to try it. We decided on the garlic chicken with white sauce. I've had plenty of these types of pizzas, & this one did not disappoint. However, I have yet to find one that actually tastes different than the other. The crust was perfect, slightly soft with a crispy (but not too) crust. Just how I like it! The breadsticks could have used more garlic but were nice & soft. Marina was totally cold. Shouldn't it be hot? Overall, it wasn't the greatest nor was it the worst. It's a nice change from the corporate pizza joints. I'll be back. read more

50 min. wait for a medium pizza...barely enough toppings...heavy on cheese...simple white crust...no thin crust or whole wheat option, the roasted red peppers were soo good it was sad there weren't more...same for the delicious sauteed onions...the arugla: one thin leaf per slice? Not sure what went wrong today with the $10 medium autumn special...(Medium is usually $12 and they seem small) Good news is they offer a small music and talen performance space 'the phone booth' and it says to call the manager... A good pizza, not a great pizza...no booths so no comfy seating...I'm not a fan of sports on a tv in the pizza place like some are either... Friendly service for sure though...not sure why they have so many five star ratings? Perhaps people are rating the local support or the service rather than the food? We'll definitely go again but I can't wait to try wood fired pizzas in Woodinville nearby. It may have been an off day...maybe they were low on red peppers and arugula? Before Pagliacci opened in Kenmore and after Pier 1 closed, this was my top pick for pizza in the Bothell area. The pizza is pretty good and you can order home made ice cream with it. I still order from Uncle Peteza's, but for specialty pizzas I think Pagliacci's does a better job (especially with their seasonal offers) - albeit for more money. read more
