This place is literally a hole in the wall...was looking for some Chinese food that was not Panda Express and I stumbled upon this place. The restaurant is nestled downtown across the public parking and literally down the street from the theater. This is not a fancy restaurant as it's more catered for to go orders...however there is seating inside. The food is displayed in trays and you choose as you order. The food is made fresh and if they run out, the cook in the back is making a new batch... The portions are HUGE!!!! You get what you paid for!! See the photos! If you want some good Chinese food go here...FYI: the fried pepper and salt pork chops were GOOOOOOOOD! A MUST TRY!

This place does not get enough chatter. I almost hesitate to recommend it just because it seems like a hidden gem but it is outstanding! It's a small place with friendly staff. The food is hot (temperature), portions are HUGE, and delicious! The value for the price is spot on. Absolutely worth trying perhaps (totally is) the best Chinese food in town. Competes with Chinese food in the Bay.

1 side chow mein and rice and 2 entree. Spicy pork. But the fried pork chicken top right in the picture I didn't like the soy base flavor

Addicted to the Salt/Pepper pork. OMG it's so good, a little stingy on condiments though.

Visited August 17th..see receipt…read more I came in to order their shrimp with nuts and noticed the price is now 22 dollars. Unfortunately it doesn't come with anything- not even rice! I decided to pass on it and just got some steamed rice. They are never crowded in there which is unfortunate because their fried rice alone is delectable! The man that waited on me turned two people away because the dish they were going to order he said had very little beef in it. His attitude was a bit of a turn off. Maybe he was just having a bad day! I doubt i will be back when i am in the area. Hopefully if they bring their prices down they will have more customers to stay competitive!

We ordered cashew shrimp, Mongolian beef, chow mein, and potstickers, and every single dish was delicious. My husband couldn't stop raving about the sauce on the Kung Pao shrimp. It's a small, unassuming spot near Marshall's, but don't let that fool you--go in and order the food. It's so good. The owners are incredibly kind and genuinely want you to enjoy their food. We had a really nice conversation with the owner, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be back. I wish I had taken photos of our dishes. Next time, for sure!

The restaurant seemed dirty and uncleanly both in the inside and out. The lady who I picked up my order from was nice but the food was just unbearable. The sauce/seasoning was fine but the crawfish meat was tuff and rubbery and discolored. The fat from the crawfish is supposed to be an orangish-yellow color and this crawfish was green and it looked repulsive. I had to throw it out it was practically inedible and I felt like i'd get sick if I ate it. I can tell that crawfish was cooked dead and was probably sitting there dead for a while before it was cooked.

I started with the singapore vermicelli noodles with shrimp, onions, bean sprouts, and scrambled eggs, in a curry sauce. It also comes with bell peppers, which I asked them to leave off, and I asked for the sauce to be mild. The food was delicious! The noodles were perfectly done, there was a good amound of all of the ingredients, and everything was cooked perfectly. The curry sauce had a very mild spice, which was perfect for me. It was just a little bit salty for my personal taste, but not overly so. I do realize that everybody's tastes are different. For desert, I ordered six of the Jin Dui. Sesame donut balls, filled with a sweet bean paste. They were excellent. Not overfried, and the filling was delicious. Not too sweet. I had enough food for 2 full meals. The price for all I got was very reasonable. I want to order from here again. Thanks!!!

FOOD - Walnut Shrimp: battered shrimp with candied walnuts…read moreover broccoli. The shrimp wasn't crunchy enough. Walnut shrimp is my go-to when I have Chinese food so I'm a little bit of a walnut shrimp snob. This was pretty mid. 3.5/5 - Mongolian Beef: beef with onions, red bell peppers, and bok choy. The flavor was pretty good. The beef was tender enough. 3.75/5 - Orange Chicken combo: orange chicken with chow mein, and egg roll. The chicken wasn't dry but not very tender either. The flavor was okay. The chow mein and vegetable egg roll were pretty standard. 3.5/5 - Fried Rice and 4 Dumpling set combo: the fried rice was, also, pretty standard. The pork dumplings were pretty good. The side of wonton soup was good. 3.75/5 SERVICE: Service was pretty fast and friendly. 4/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: Everything was okay. Nothing was bad, just nothing to write home about.
