Came here for the first time today because i usually go to the cheeg but there closed for the season. they had the best chipped beef on toast i ever had and the wait wasnt bad only about 5min if your in the neighborhood stop by you wont be disappointed the only negative i have is they dont take cards read more

Had breakfast here with my wife twice. Pretty good food, waitresses and waiters are very polite and on top of things. I know it's good service when you have different waitresses or waiters passing by with coffee and asking if you would like a refill. Atmosphere is very nice also, very well decorated. It seems it was recently renovated. My wife and i got a kick out of the different salt and pepper shakers at each table. Plenty of seating and roomy. If we want a sit down breakfast, this would be our choice. read more

Probably the best breakfast I've ever had! I got the French toast tropicale (French toast with mangoes, bananas, granola, and a rum sauce) and it was so delicious. And the waitress was extremely friendly even though we were in there until right before they were going to close. Made the stop early morning with 2 of our kids, 4 total in our party. Great food, love all the little gems of decoration they have including the "pigs in chairs"....but wow the total bill was a heavy $50+. The waitress was exceptional. However, the nut encrusted mahi mahi was dry and the chutney was just dollaped on. The asparagus was fine, as was the red potatoe special. The filet mignon was just ok, not a good cut, though cooked as asked. The house salad with red vinegrette was very good. The byob is a plus with Murphy's next door. All in all, ok for a less expensive meal than in the rest of the places, but nothing special - if I were to go back it would be for more simple dishes, or probably stick with breakfast. read more

I don't even know how to begin. This morning my daughter and I had the most delicious breakfast I can remember in a long time. She had a specialty omelette, I forget the name of it, but it was a glorious mix of artichokes, spinach, portobello and cheese in a crepe like egg mixture that was divine. I had poached eggs and French toast. Sounds simple, I know, but the French toast was like none I've ever had. Perfection with cinnamon, yet indescribable. Poached eggs can be iffy, but again perfect here. It was busy there, even a Thursday morning in early June, yet the service was flawless. I mean flawless. Great food, perfect execution and flawless service. I could eat every meal at this place and be content.........ahhhhhhhh, can't wait till next time! PS, coffee was great, too! read more

Without a doubt our favorite place for breakfast on the island. Hard to make a bad choice for breakfast. They do a great job of creating a good variety of breakfast choices, everything is always cooked properly and the have great attention to detail like fantastic fresh fruit. Awesome place. My family has been coming here for many years. Food is great. Only thing that wasn't great is how close some of the tables are to the front counter. Hands down -THE BEST BREAKFAST I've had in years. Maybe ever. The egg white omelette was cooked PERFECTLY. I don't know how the cook did it. Egg whites are tricky. Usually over cooked and tough outside- runny raw spots inside. Not here. Incredibly light , puffy and cloud-like. Stuffed with tender chicken bits, fresh mushrooms, peppers and onions and tender stringy mozzarella cheese. Melted in my mouth! Same with the 3 buckwheat pancakes- STUFFED with huge fresh juicy blueberries and really big pieces of tender pecans. ( I know, I'm using tender a lot but it's really key ) No raw gooey dough between berries and nuts. These pancakes were DEVINE! The coffee was delish- although I really prefer a pitcher of cream to those tiny little pain in the neck cuplettes. Our server, Ashley was friendly and attentive.. Listen.except for maybe a coupon special- there is no such thing as a cheap meal on LBI. This breakfast was 11 bucks. Portions are HUGE and it was a tough stuff to finish. Breakfast food doesn't work too well left over so,personally, I'd rather see a bit less food for an easier to swallow price. Also note I was here on a Thurs. morning in late Sept. No wait. The good-lobster Benedict The bad-crab quiche: The crab quiche was a small portion, with very little flavor. I knew it would be reheated, but seems microwaving it only made the crust soggy and the cheese on top hard and chewy. You may have better luck, but if you're on the fence, try something else. The lobster Benedict was pretty good except it comes on a plain old English muffin. Something more creative would make that a great dish, maybe a corn fritter? Just saying.... read more

While I was reasonably intrigued by the pig gimmick underscoring Uncle Will's Pancake House and the popularity of the restaurant, I was a bit underwhelmed with the actual substance of my meal. This is not to say that my meal was poor, rather it simply seemed to be standard breakfast offerings with little to no flair. Perhaps I entered with expectations set too high, as Uncle Will's reputation precedes it...what, with lines forming for entrance and a score of terrific Yelp reviews supporting it, but I left with an unmemorable experience. This was a great experience as always. We seemed a little confused about the menu and the owner over heard and sat down with us to express his concern about how it can be worded better. After a few minutes of discussion and learning the history about the restaurant we came up with our final draft of the new menu. Your dining experience will only be that much better going forward. Friendly service and great food is all you will remember when you leave Uncle Wills. The four adjectives my party would describe our food was yummy, perfect, fresh and scrumptious. The fresh squeezed OJ and the friendly service are the cornerstones of this restaurant. Very kid friendly and they brought over the pig in a chair for our baby. This spot is super cute! You walk in and there are pig items everywhere. Kids loved the theme. It's not too much or corny, just enough to be fun. The wait staff was fast and friendly. They brought the kids toys to play with while we waited which was nice. Food came out quickly even though they looked quite busy. Food was delicious and it didn't break the bank. Not just for breakfast anymore! We just got back from an amazing dinner at uncle wills. The Caribbean Napoleon was to die for! As was the Saba island salad. LOVE it! My husband and I are sure to visit Uncle Will's every time we go to the island. The hostesses are extremely amiable each time we go and helpful as well. (Our camera needed to be repaired and they looked up possible places we could take it to). The service is fast, efficient and friendly. The menu offers a great breakfast variety. It's clean, and the farm themed decorations are interesting to take in while you enjoy your breakfast. The business is cash only, so make sure you either bring cash or pop over to Murphy's Grocery before you go to hit the ATM. There can be a long wait if you get there after a certain time. That's just the way of it. For those who elect to cry about that simple fact, set the alarm a little earlier or eat somewhere else. Not that big a deal. read more

Just to put it simply...not impressed. Food was overpriced. Food was less tasty then the crappiest diner you have in town. Service matched the quality of the food. Meal was interrupted by a rude waitress dragging the mascot pig outside. She looked at me and said "I can't get through...can you move?" No please, no thank you, no I'm sorry. Tip to owners...have the pig outside before your rush, not during. Cash only which seems typical of these places but I barely got my wallet out before being told "It's cash only so you can go around the corner to the ATM." I cut her off with a sarcastic comment which was "YEA I KNOW....I woke up extra early to go the ATM to get cash just so I could eat here." If your in the area go to Chegg or take a drive to The Sandbox Cafe. I usually do not like paying $60 for breakfast especially when my pancakes consisted of something out of a box and fruit thrown on top. read more

Amazing place. I drove down an hour and a half and waited 25 mins for a seat to enjoy a big breakfast for my birthday. The very cute piggy atmosphere always makes me happy. The place is always full but the staff is wonderful and quick to help you. My family and I always enjoy the yummy food and the delicious coffee. I even treated my self to a little stuffed souvenir piggy so it could remind me of one of my favorite places. Don't be surprised if there is a wait but it is worth it, always a good meal!! read more

My son (10 years old) loves it and would give 5 stars, but he doesn't pay for anything, so when he is older, and can write his own reviews, he is welcome to do so... That said, we arrived there this morning about 10:30 (it looks like on the tail end of a rush) and waited a good ten minutes before I was offered coffee. The waitress was very pleasant, but didn't introduce herself (a minor detail, but something you expect from good waitstaff). ALERT! They only take cash. I came here several years ago and don't recall the prices being as high as they are now. Another reviewer wrote that an average breakfast is $15 per person (that is if you are on the lean side). After our orders were taken (my son got the bacon 'shroom melt, I got a berry muffin on the grill). His food was outstanding. Wicked good. If this rating was based on the portion size and the sinful deliciousness of his breakfast, 5 stars, easy. My muffin, on the other hand was thick and almost gooey. I had higher expectations from something touted as a fresh muffin. My grapefruit juice was solid. The music they played is really good, if you are into classic 70s rock. All in all, three stars.
