Wish I could give them 10 stars...they absolutely deserve every one. With how few Hawaiian food options we have here in Prescott Valley, Uncle's Hawaiian Kitchen is an absolute treasure. And honestly? Even if we had a dozen Hawaiian spots, this one would STILL be the go too! The moment you take that first bite, you know you've found something special. I wanted to cry from the pure joy and excitement of finding authentic Hawaiian food here in PV. The flavors are bold, authentic, and straight-from-the-islands good. Somebody's uncle has been guarding these recipes for years. Portions are generous, and every side on the plate holds its own. The crew working the truck is friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel like family the second you walk up. It's that warm island hospitality you don't see every day, especially in a small town. In a place where Hawaiian food is hard to come by, Uncle's delivers the real thing....comfort, flavor, and heart. I would 1000% recommend this truck to anyone. Ono grinds fer sure. We had the mixed plate. Tasty, fresh, and so filling with the 2 scoops of rice and mac salad. I was pleasantly happy that there was no tuna in mac salad. Yellowtail poke bowl was great. Mac I felt was not wet/creamy enough. It wasn't dry I guess it needed a smidge more sauce because I felt it was more pasta forward. read more

I didn't think Prescott could do it, but Uncle's is the real deal. Growing up in Utah (lots of Polynesian restaurants around), I've had Hawaiian food ranging from mediocre to great. So i wasn't sure what to expect here. Only tried the mixed platter (which was delicious), but so far Uncle's is top tier. Can't wait to come back. read more

So happy to find authentic Hawaiian food in Prescott Valley! Today was my first time, and I had a little trouble finding it because it is on First St, not Second St, like is listed in Yelp. The staff was very friendly and the food was great! I had the garlic shrimp plate with lots of large shrimp and of course, two scoop rice! I also got some kalua pig in a one pound package to bring home for dinner and it is delicious as well. Looking forward to coming back to try the kalbi and adobo. read more

I wish I could rate this higher but I won't be going back even though its the only "Hawaiian" food around. I travel for work and was hoping this could become a staple for me since Prescott has less to be desired for a foodie. I ordered the garlic shrimp, musubi, and macaroons. The garlic shrimp just OK mid quality, cooked a little too long some of the shells were too soft. The musubi was terrible! Soggy rice with spam as if it was straight from the can and for $4?! Such a shame but I absolutely had to throw it away after just a bite. Usually musubi is cooked in sauce thats generally sugar, soy sauce, and mirin. The macaroons were good. Nothing I had I wanted to finish. Service was decent. Can't really comment on ambience since it was a food truck but it looked nice. read more

Me and my friends love eating Uncle's whenever we have the chance to eat there. The food is always amazing and I've never been disappointed when it came to the service or the food itself. I recommend going during their early hours before they run out of food, this place can get busy. Really thankful to have some good food out here in Prescott. read more

Finally got to try Uncles Hawaiian and the wait was well worth it. The meat had so much flavor and was very tender. I love the macaroni salad as well. Of course had to try the pineapple upside down which was amazing!!! Ordering was easy, food was ready really quickly and workers were nice. I can't wait to go back! read more

Food is always delicious and filling!!! I typically get the kalua pig sliders with a side of kimchi or the ribs! Their rice is also extremely good and cooked perfectly each time just for a few recommendations! My boyfriend and I go here at least once or twice a week and the food is always just as good as the last time with such consistency! The service is always friendly and warm! My husband and I are fans of Hawaiian cuisine, definitely wanted to be one of those first few to try this -we did... two days after it announced its first day of opening, they ran out of food. Wait, Whaaat?!!! And thanks to the lady fifth in line at that time, she whispered the bad news. We even felt sorry for her since she drove 1.5 hrs from Phoenix! Week later, I bravely gave it another go, came an hour early, they were just setting up. Came back half hour later, two guys already ahead of me sitting on the curb while food truck still not ready. Sign written on the window said open for lunch 12 noon. Ordered the Hawaiian plate, tuna ahi poke and bottled water, pricey for Prescott , we think. The poke is nothing like the real poke, it's just furikake rice w/ tuna, lots of scallions too. Where's the seaweed, pickled ginger, and all the other good stuff? Plate was disappointing , to put it this way: kalua pork tasted like bland shredded pork; Safeway Mac salad costs less and tastes better than what they call Hawaiian macaroni salad, and the 5 tiny pieces of chicken bbq was ok but not great. High expectations but promises under delivered. I hope they will do better, the demand for authentic cuisine is increasingly appealing as Prescott is growing by leaps & bounds. My critique is meant not in any way to discourage, I only wish for Uncle's Hawaiian food truck to succeed. In fact, I'm willing to give them another try read more

Moved to arizona about two years ago from Oregon and severely missed my local Hawaiian place. I began working for Amazon and saw this AWESOME food truck on one of their days off. And just knew this would be THE PLACE! Caught them on a Thursday afternoon (between 12-2pm) and was not disappointed in any way! Their mixed plate special is delicious. Looking for a good Hawaiian place since Top Ramin closed and I found it. Off of 69 and limited hours, but the food is very good. I hade the Poke Bowl. Ahi was very good, Also had a Musibi which was excellent. Wife had the shrimp plate and it was h just like what we get on the North Shore. No seating, takeout only. Just wish it was closer to Prescott, hate all the lights on 69. Highly tecommend read more

Paid $30 for two plates. They didn't come with the rice or Mac salad. The "BBQ Chicken plate only had about 2 oz. of chicken and a handful of cabbage. The Special had about an oz of chicken and an oz of pork and a handful of cabbage. The chicken on both plates was extremely fatty. Waited in line for 45 minutes for garbage. I should have checked my boxes but was in a hurry to go sit down. By the time I looked at my box of nothing, they were closed. So I couldn't get my money back or at least the food I had paid for. read more
