It wasn't sweet enough for me but this place was kind enough to make it sweeter for me. This drink wasn't for me. The coffee and mojito flavors were an odd mix. It wasn't that it wasn't tasty. I think I made a bad pick. They have tons of bagged coffee as well so you can also take it home to enjoy. This is a busy place and there is long waits for the two bathrooms. Both the staff member who took our order and the one who gave us our drinks were short to the point of being rude. When I asked for a straw I got severe attitude because apparently they don't do straws for the environment. I'm totally cool with that but... the cups came with plastic lids and the receipt was printed on toxic hormone interrupting paper so.. she really could have chilled on the condescension. Myself, my mom, and cousin stopped in to check it out. I was desperately missing my iced coffee summer regimen from home, so I was hoping UCR could fill the void (and then some). Immediately, I noticed a sign for an iced cinnamon roll latte. Say whaaat?! Yes, please! The folks behind the counter were nice and definitely movin' and shakin', but it took longer than expected to get our coffees. It seemed a little chaotic in there, maybe it was just because of the summer tourist rush. I think in the midst of my waiting I had built this latte up way too much in my head. Don't get me wrong, it was good - but not all the cinnamon roll deliciousness I had imagined. More just like iced coffee, milk, and a dash of cinnamon. I stopped in another time that week though and indulged myself in a (hot) lavender latte. Oh boy, was that delicious! The coffee was smooth with just a hint of lavender, it was perfect. The shop itself is very welcoming and cute. They offer seating indoors and outside, and seem very welcoming to dogs in tow. Their bakery case is stocked with cookies, muffins, and more, and I understand there is a bit of a breakfast menu as well. But be forewarned, especially if you're visiting during the popular summer months, it will be very crowded here. You may have a hard time finding a seat, though we did manage to nab seats when we went here last. Since we had just eaten breakfast, we were too full to order anything off the menu here (though we were tempted by some of the pastry options). We ordered chai lattes, and we loved them. What a pleasure! They have multiple non-dairy milk options, which I particularly appreciated, as well. The atmosphere here is top notch. It's relaxed, modern, very clean, and overall welcoming. Even though I don't get the chance to go to Saugatuck very often I always make sure to at least make a stop here because of good it is and how fond my memories are of this place. They always have delicious coffee, creative cold brews on tap, and wonderful pastries. The staff is always super friendly despite the large crowds that flock through during the summers. And, with that said - yes, this place can be incredibly busy depending when you're there. The lines are sometimes out the door. Seating is not always a guarantee. But, the wait time usually isn't too long and on a warm summer day in Saugatuck, knowing you'll be able to walk around and browse the shops afterwards - the wait isn't a problem. Since many before me have sung the praises of Uncommon's uncommonly good cold brew, let me offer some wisdom to tourists, especially those who are parents to young kids. Everyone knows once you have kids, it's not a "vacation" - it's a trip! We were in Saugatuck for a family "trip" and we were all sharing a big house by the beach. My kids, however, get up about three hours earlier than their uncle, so we decided it's easier to get them up and out rather than waking the whole house up. So we devised an easy and fun plan for Saugatuck mornings: 1) Load up the littles 2) Deposit them at the park with 1-2 parental units 3) Send the remaining team on a cold brew procurement mission 4) Return to the park and consume said cold brew 5) Repeat steps 3-4 as necessary. Parents get required caffeine in, kids get extraneous energy out, uncles get to sleep late. For extra bonus points, return with cold brew cartons or growlers for said uncles, feel free to embellish with various scones and muffins as needed, especially if hangovers may be involved for said uncles. ** I might also offer that husbands who particularly love their wives could whisk children away at an early morning hour, letting the ladies pretend for a blissful hour or two they are still young, thin and well-rested, if only in our dreams. To wake up to sweetly sweaty, slightly sleepy babies and a cold brew would be the real dream! read more

My fav is their dark roast over pour. Delicious, full flavor. Perfect. Their brews exude excellent taste. I recommend trying before adding any sugar, cream, or whatever other enhancement - trust me you won't need any!! Tons of cute spaces to work inside, enjoy your coffee out back in the garden or out front with your pooch.
