This was my first and last order from the UJ brand. I purchased two items from their final sale list - one necklace and one pair of earrings. Super cute pieces and looked amazing on. I received the necklace on a Friday, wore it on a Saturday, and it broke Saturday night as I was taking it off. I emailed their customer service two days later. UJ is unable to refund me because it was a final sale item. This was a defective item, plain and simple. A necklace should not break the very first time you wear it. Terrible quality. I met up with some friends for a weekend in Nashville and Uncommon James was one of the stops we had to ke, I love the style of jewelry and figures I would at least purchase one piece. If I could have bought everything I would have because it was all so perfect. I purchased 7 candles from Uncommon James that I was going to give as gifts, and 2 arrived damaged. I will not be gifting damaged goods to my friends. When I reached out for a replacement, they refused to replace the candles as they were still "useable" and tried to offer a discount code. Extremely poor customer service practice, I don't recommend purchasing from UJ. You won't receive a replacement if your items are damaged. read more

Purchased a pair of earrings online for the first time. I got Rhapsody in gold, they are absolutely stunning! First the shipping was swift and the packaging is super cute. I love the soft white pouch they earrings came in. The earrings were light in weight, I couldn't feel them on. The back fits very snug so you won't lose it. I have very sensitive ears and I was able to wear these all day without them irritating them. Cute store. I've been a fan of KC for years so naturally I had to pay a visit during my first trip to music city 2 weeks ago. I didn't purchase anything due to the fear that the delicate jewelry wouldn't make the trip back to Jersey and it is very pricey for the quality like others have noted. However, the layout of the store was well done and easy to navigate. Customer service GHOSTED me, it is extremely disappointing to not be even given a response. My mom and I went shopping at the store when we were in town. I had emailed them to do my return as you need an order # to submit a return on their website. I was able to do my return and I was speaking to my mom, she decided she didn't like the quality of the items for the price paid and wanted to return her items as well. I told her I would take care of it for her as she is not tech savvy. So I emailed them with her order information and they emailed me a return label. Low and behold they sent me the same return label for both orders and now will not refund my moms purchase. It was not my mom's fault that they sent the same label but they won't even respond to me. Very disappointing way, you need to take responsibility for your actions. read more

My daughter purchased a measuring cup set from this company and it literally fell apart within a few months. The white finish pulled away from the metal. The rose colored finish discolored. I sent an email to the company with pictures and they told me to deal with the store I bought them in. I explained I no longer have a receipt. Updated review: I was contacted by customer service and they asked that I email for a replacement. I did, their response was quick and they sent a replacement out right away, priority. I didn't have to jump through hoops, I'm sure it helped that I attached a picture of the poor quality. The replacement was definitely much nicer, brighter and better quality. I may have left a 5 star review if it was the first one I received but I don't really like that they don't have QC and that they're willing to send out such a crappy product. I've been looking for a jewelry line that sold quality product for a reasonable price and BINGO! I found it! I spent hours on the site looking at all the product, especially the jewelry, because I just could not make up my mind about what I wanted to get. I loved all the designs and the prices! I love UJ jewelry so much. My friend made me visit the store when visiting Nashville. I loved all my purchases, and have gotten great use out of them. And have purchased a lot since. The quality hasn't disappointed. However, my last two experiences have been a bit upsetting. I returned an ear cuff that just didn't fit right and would fall off my ear. Unfortunately, I didn't mark down the return tracking, but just slapped the label on and returned. It has been over a month since that. The return was apparently never received. Customer service seemed like they were doing the bare minimum to help me, and I had to ask for info they should have offered up in the first place... I needed to see if they had record of return tracking (I said I'd deal with usps on my own) My message has been passed along, and over a week later am still waiting to hear back on. So I am guessing I am out $70. The second, I just ordered another piece - a ring. Unfortunately it does not match the photo on site. I still love it, but disappointed. read more

This is a review for an online order that was placed on 11/25/23. My order was delivered yesterday and when I opened the box I realized that an item was missing. I ordered 3 pairs of earrings and only received 2 pairs. I reached out to customer service immediately via email and received a response today that was uncalled for. The only solutions they had are to ship me the item that was not placed in the box via standard shipping (because that is what I used for my order) which would take anywhere from 10-20 days to receive, receive a refund or get store credit. None of those solutions are acceptable when this was a gift for someone for their birthday is less than a week. This is a mistake on their end and they have done NOTHING to make their customer happy. Their customer service is absolutely terrible and useless. I understand that mistakes happen, but there has been no apology or anyone taking responsibility for the mistake on their end & offering a realistic solution to keep the customer happy. Don't waste your time with this company, you can find the same or better quality anywhere else for cheaper! read more

I had heard about the uncommon James collection, went online and put a bunch of jewelry in my cart but never got the nerve to actually buy. A friend of mine said she really liked the show Very Cavallari and so I started watching it and became instantly hooked. As soon as I saw all the girls with the jewelry on I was obsessed. I put an order in for a few items and then literally a week later bought even more. I love the gold items and how clean and different everything looks. I needed more everyday jewelry and jewelry that I could wear on the weekends and over the summer to spice up my look. I love love love everything that I have purchased (and it has been a lot). The only reason I gave four stars is that there are a few pair of earrings I want but are just slightly too expensive but I know I'll probably cave and buy them eventually. When I put it my first order I had received a notification that my purchase was delivered but it hadn't been. I contacted ups and no one knew where my purchase was. I finally called UJ, they answered right away and the people on the phone we're great. They were willing to send me another order right away. Luckily for me I pulled up to my house moments later and sure enough the package was there (showed up a couple days later then it said). I called them back and told them I got my package and did not need to send another one, again they were very pleasant on the phone! The first time I placed an order online (several weeks ago) the experience was mediocre for a variety of reasons (shipping took longer than it expected and when my order finally arrived there was no packing slip/receipt). When I got the notification about their Cyber Monday sale I decided to scoop up a few more items. Shipping was much quicker and this time my order arrived with a packing slip. I love that each piece comes with a pouch and care instructions and of course I'm a huge fan of this line (very dainty necklaces, versatile earrings and bracelets). The price point is a little high but worth it if you love this style of jewelry (especially if you love wearing rose gold or gold jewelry). I recently just purchased the Girl Boss earrings and Crescent necklace. The package arrived fast. I was very excited to get to see my purchases but was surprised by the quality of the items. The pieces originally look strong and heavy (or at least have some weight to them) but come to find they are light and flimsy. One of the girl boss earrings had a bend in it which you could tell when placing the pair next to each other. Overall I was a bit disappointed. NOTHING. Even standing next to it. My husband even asked if it was unscented. Went to Nashville and visited Uncommon James with some friends. It was my birthday & my friends bought me an adorable ring from here. Less than 2 wears and it completely tarnished. And the ring was $60... I was so upset because I own many cheaper silver rings that did not completely tarnish and turn my fingers green. I decided to contact the company with pictures showing what had happened- they offered to send me a new one (which is nice but it's going to tarnish the same?) and then proceeded to tell me that my ph balance was probably off and caused the ring to tarnish??? Very uncomfortable. And I own so many rings from pandora that haven't tarnished a bit. Interesting way to excuse their cheap jewelry... Anyways, will never buy from here again.
