The new location is way better than the old one across the street, now I can check out the latest sneakers and undefeated gear without ass bumping with random dudes as I bend over to check out some bottom shelf gear. I definitely agree that this place is the joint to get the best urban sneakers out there. Maybe a little too exclusive though, you got to go in there consistantly because things are leaving that store as quickly as they come in. Great selection for guys, but not a whole lot for the ladies. Still I've managed to get a few pairs of great Nikes... THE ICON At one time UNDFTD was at the top of their game, collaborations with Visvim and Jordan but now they are more of an exclusive shop. I only go here for releases and be prepared to line up at least 2 hours early because of the "hype". I really appreciate this shop and everything they have done for the sneaker game but I must say their customer service is waaaaay sub standard, mostly only at this location. They have the most pompous arrogant douche bags working here, and even worse they are the worst sneaker heads ever. I don't know how man times these idiots have said and I quote "Oh, we don't know when kicks are releasing until people start calling for them!" WTF, are you kidding me? For being such a "Icon" in the sneaker game I would expect this place to employ people that are passionate about the culture not just someone's douch bag friend. maybe i'm not cool enough to be in line w/ my year-old creative design sneaks. they're a bit worn. the trim isn't scarlet anymore, just red, and the creases in the toebox, they cry for botox. i strut to the back of the line like the rest of the plebes. i dip my voice in casual and say "hey, this the line for undefeated?" dude looks at me and thumbs his holstered sidekick like he's ready to draw on me... "yeah, man." sweet. a young asian brother immediately takes a spot behind me, sporting nikes that must have required the deaths of at least eight toucans and a peacock. forty-five minutes later the cool factor has diminished somewhat. on my second cig and slightly sweaty from the midday sun, the guard finally swings open the door and i am in Pedestrian Heaven. i bask in the odor of pleather and cardboard and start the hunt. i quickly realize my worst fear: i am too old for this shit. AF-1's w/ screaming purple and yellow patchwork, vinyl pink and gray high tops with leopard laces, checkered yellow and black Vans, retro skate loafers with pop culture lithographs emblazoned on the heel... how depressing. my shoulders sag from the burden of reality. then... at the end of the row on the second floor... i see the Dunks. low top, crisp white face with vibrant 80s blue trim peeking out from the sole, and the familiar swoosh in a comforting gray. nice. i sucker-punch a 13-year old girl in the kidneys and fling her into a pile of overpriced hoodies to make sure she doesn't snag my kicks. size 13, size 12, size 11.5, 11, 10.5, 10.5, 10.5 what the FUCK. my nines are nowhere to be found. in a fit of desperation i stick my foot into the 10.5, imagining my foot will magically balloon to a perfect fit. but it doesn't happen. i take a step in my new Nike Dunk clown shoes and curse my father for having women's feet. i notice the 13-year old has emerged from the hoodies, vengeance gleaming in her eyes. as i sprint for the door, i am just grateful my creatives still have tread. read more

Love this location than the one at Santa Monica since this store is way more spacious and has an actual seating area. More clothing selection and they do have a little zen water fountain thingy ma jig right when you walk in which is pretty cool. Like the other Undftd locations, whatever size they have on display are the only sizes they have in stock. You can ask them to call the other Undftd locations to see if they have it in stock just so you don't have to go to all of their locations to search for what you're looking for. What if I was to tell you this is the best shoe store ever, is that something you would be interested in? If this store wasn't that good, why would it be featured in an episode of Entourage? Not only one location, but two! The atmosphere is simplistic zen. The river in the store is what makes this place truly unique. I love the location of the store, usually pretty easy to find parking in the residential areas, and its near Roscoe's! The two MUSTS when going to LA. Two of my favorite pairs of shoes were bought here, Beige Adidas Forum Suede Mids & Khaki Nike Jamaica Series Dunks. Great service from all the employees. Their logo is awesome! I'm from SF, and when I was down in socal in May to help my sister move up from college I have to admit I cried a bit when I entered this joint. So many shoes, so many sizes (they actually carried sizes for my small ass feet!). Like Mos Def in the Italian Job, I have a dream of someday having a room for all my shoes. I have family in town and my aunt doesnt live to far from here. I really like Undefeated. The shop is small, they had a good selection of shoes, womens, mens, and kids! Undefeated is one of the few stores during my trip that actually had toms for kids on sale! 23 bucks! You def. can't beat that! They had a couple pairs i wanted for my daughter, but only had the bigger sizes left. I didn't cop any this visit.. hopefully next time I stop by they'll have some in her size. Customer service I agree isn't that great.. I tried asking one of the associates at the shop for help, but totally got ignored.. it wasn't even busy! Cool sneaker shop I found after have brunch. Seemed very urban/modern/trendy. They have all kinds of Nike's, Converse and New Balance shoes in awesome bright colors. They have women sneakers too but not as much as men's. Though the women's selection they had was pretty good. Saw this cute all black Nike with floral prints on them. Very summery and tropical vibe. Loved it! They also carry men's apparel as well. Lots of people shopping in the store. Everyone goes for the shoes so lots of people crowded in the left front of the store. Oh Undefeated, i wish I never met you. I would still have some semblance of sanity. No shoe obsessions. Not to mention much more cash in my pockets. Seriously though, finding this place back around 2003 was the tipping point for me from merely a sneaker admirer to a sneaker junkie. As of now I'd like to think I recovered, mainly because I don't have the money to drop on kicks anymore. But a few years ago seemed like it was their main hey day. Exclusive releases out the ass, weekend long campouts, full on sneaker boutique mystique. For all I know, it could still be rolling at that same level of prominence. Frankly, I don't wanna know. Fun hip store located in a cool trendy area. Always finding some nice kicks there that I can't find anywhere else.

This is store sets the standard of how a urban kicks store should be like. They get all the hot releases that drop from Nike, Adidas, Visim, etc. Layout is a clean modernistic style with a dope front end. Staff here was really cool. This UNDFTD has a really cool vibe with the sound of the water running outside and all. It's pretty small, but usually you will find a couple of pairs you like. The prices are okay. Although I don't frequent this place as much as I used to, Undftd is still one of the mainstays of LA sneaker culture. You can basically find all the limited, semi-limited and misc sneakers here. The selections are always on par and they're not boggled down w/ loads of sneakers that they can't move. Also, I've never had any problems w/ the staff being too cool for school or whatnot. Stopped by during my most recent trip to LA. Speaking honestly on Undefeated as a brand...the urban street wear clothing sector is at an all-time low and their apparel really isn't a 'hot' item these days (or over the last few years really), but they are recognized as one of the best sneaker retailers out there one the first 'sneaker boutique'. Right when you walk in, you'll see a mini-waterfall that exudes a zen-like atmosphere - an 'ohm' if you will - and beyond that is the actual retail space - ample seating with artwork hanging on the right, rows and rows of sneakers to the left. Didn't find any good deals and they often don't carry anything else other stores don't (except for the bland Puma collabs they did), but it was still nice knowing that i've been to at least one of the UNDFTD spots. Spent a whole 5 minutes in there and probably wouldn't return, but it's a decent enough spot. Shoutout to Eddie Cruz though - stay on that grind. read more

Here's my experience with undefeated on La Brea. First they had posted something on their instagram as available, so I drove 30 minutes to their store to get it, only to arrive and them say they accidentally posted that and they weren't actually available. So they apologized, no big deal to me accidents happen. The next day when the shirts were supposed to be available and also a pair of shorts they said would be available if we arrived an hour before they open. So I show up the next day 2 hours before they open and there are 3 people in front of me. So I feel good about my chances of getting this product (considering it's one piece per customer). 15 minute before the store opening and employee arrives to open the store, and two other guys come and stand at the front of the line with the employee. So I've now been moved to 6th in line from 4th apparently. Whatever no big deal there's definitely more then 6 pairs of shorts available says the employee at the door letting people in. As the first 4 guys walk out who all went in together, they have 6 bags full of shorts, so I'm getting nervous because this was a birthday gift I was buying for my fiancée. So finally it's my turn in the store and two of the original 4 guys are still cashing out at the counter and I notice they have 5 pairs of the same shorts they were purchasing? On top of the other shorts the two other people bought as well. I ask for my size and they are now sold out, over 10 pairs of the same shorts sold to FOUR people as 15 others waited in line for hours to buy these shorts. Terrible business I've never seen anything as pathetic as this. Never would recommend anyone to take their words for anything they lied straight to our faces countless times. read more

My buddy and I ventured out to undftd after we saw it in Entourage. It is a pretty cool store and I like their logo, but their stuff is pretty expensive(probably due to all the hype). But even their Nikes are priced maybe 10% over retail. I can get better prices on Nikes at Blends or Niketown, given that they carry the shoe. Undefeated does receive pretty much every shoe release though, which is a plus. read more

Pretty decent store, and I really didn't find anything wrong with any of the staff there when I visited.
