Not as big as the location in Vegas. Staff here is very friendly and helpful. They'll also tell you about some sales going on, like the Supreme warehouse one down the street. The kick selection isn't as big as the Vegas one, and the shirt area is pretty cramped and it can get jumbled between that and the reg. Although small, the interior is still nice with a fountain-esque thing running throughout the store continuing on to the outside. Just like it's Vegas counterpart, there's Stussy right next door. After you've done you're shoe shopping, stop by over there or Union. Maybe pick up some free furniture at the corner store too ahah. I must also add that the velcro bags they have are pretty amazing. Hopefully I'll have enough cash next time to pick up a pair of Visvims too. read more

I can't rate Undefeated lower than four stars, because they DO carry the best kicks in town. If you know shoes, you know Undefeated. If you bash their selection for only carrying a few shoes from Nike, slim pickings from Adidas, the occasional Reebok, and brands you've never heard of, this might not be your scene, nor might it be your store. This place is the crown jewel of Los Angeles sneaker culture- next to perhaps HoH at Beverly Center now- and it's earned its keep. I can however rate them at four instead of five for the spotty customer service. Sometimes it's great, but as of late there's been a certain guy that works there that can't be bothered to get off his ass and help people that're looking around the store. If you're reading this, you know who you are, you with the hipster glasses and scruffy beard. Yeah you, the one that can't be bothered to get off your Sidekick/Blackberry/misc. texting phone to help paying customers. Just because you're rocking Cool Grey IV's and work at the best sneaker shop in town doesn't mean you're above the people who shop there. Well, maybe it does... in terms of shoe game and industry connects. However, that doesn't mean anything when you're running a public retail space, and have to put on a good face for the public. This is compounded by the fact that the REST of your coworkers are great guys to talk to about kicks, and actually put out some effort at helping us common folk. Jeez man, step it up. In short, a five star store ruined by one jerk of an employee. Shouldn't stop you from coming here though, as long as you're into kicks. Both the LaBrea and Santa Monica stores are hit or miss for me. While they usually have the limited shoes selection, you can never get the size you want, which is a huge inconvenience. Be ready to wait in line if any old-school limiteds are released, remember that episode of Entourage. The physical store is pretty cool, I just wish it was bigger. read more

If you're looking at the yelp page for this spot, I'm assuming you already know how heavy the name is. Undefeated is world renown for its top quality sneaker collection and unbelievable collaborations. But enough of what you already know about it, I'll just write a short summary of my visits there. I've never visited this place on the weekends as to avoid parking troubles so I've always hit this place up in the middle of the week in the early afternoon. Parking is a breeze around that time as it would be for any Los Angeles establishment. Location of the store is conveniently next to Stussy and Union if you want to pick up some of their stuff as well. Upon first walking in, you notice the zen like qualities to the store. Clean, naturally lit, peaceful waterfall on the right, kicks on the left, apparel near the back. Some of their more limited shoes and accessories are in the counter near the back. The selection here is the unparalleled when it comes to the higher end and more limited stuff. They do carry some chucks and vans, but most of those more mainstream items can be found at their other locations. This particular store is the cream of the crop, tier 0, international exclusives type of place. Carry all well known brands, including one of the only spots, if not the only spot, in Cali to have Visvim on stock. I only deduct one star because of customer service. Dudes there are cool, but they know that Undefeated is worldly praised and this sometimes is reflected in their body language and attitude. A little pretentious in my opinion, but some fanboys will probably say they have a right to. Their customer service over the phone is pretty good though. I've called a few times inquiring about inventory and they were pretty cool about looking it up. So is this my number one spot to pick up shoes? If I already know what I want, I'm closer to Proper and Blends so no. If I were closer to Undefeated, then yes, this probably would be my number one choice. For the super limited tier 0 and exclusive collab releases, this is easily THE spot to go to. Heavy name carries heavy releases. Check it out. read more

They carry very exclusive stuff; last time I was in they had the New Balance A09; which was a ATMOS drop in Japan. This is one of the best shoe stores in LA. They may not have as many shoes as other stores it is a great place to get good prices. This is definitely more for adidas and skater shoes rather then Jordans but they still have a good selection of Jordan's and other shoes. They also did have very nice stuff in here that one day in hope to buy like the bape jacket I saw The customer service was amazing! Best I have personally ever had at a shoe store. Being a former sneakerhead, it feels necessary to pen an Undefeated review. And when I'm back visiting the hometown, I always try to pop into UNDFTD. But when I think of it, I bought just three pairs (AM90 Escape, grey/orange tearaway Vandals, and the grey/yellow Bo Jackson Trainer Max) out of 100+ at UNDFTD. So it's not like I dropped mad piles of cash there. Yet for some reason I was always in! Generally speaking, your typical visit isn't going to yield anything truly head-turning. The truly dope pairs get snapped up pretty much immediately, so if you're looking to score that ultra-rare pair, you better do your drop date homework. But it's still essential LA, and rare pairs notwithstanding, it's always cool to see the store itself. read more

I love my sneakers... And it is apparent that they do too!! I recently walked up to the store from my appartment, and loved everything about it.The vibe was right and the owner was coo. They made sure we were taken care and that my fresh new puma's were wrapped up right. I love the selection, and the prices are right. That guy working who is just sitting at the counter wearing a red cap told us that we cant unfold and take a look at the shirts on display because thats the only ones left. I think they expect you not to touch their shirts, in that case, they should have put those shirts inside a glass display case. So, i've been going to undefeated for many years now. I dont go often but when i do i can count on a few things. They usually have shoes that nobody else in town has, which is due to some of their accounts that nobody else has. their prices are almost always above box suggested retail, and i agree that sometimes their employees are a little bit aloof. With that being said ive never had bad customer service from them including their Sm and LV locations. Ive always felt welcome and usually when i go there i find someone to talk shoes with. now if they could just align their price to box retail or under and have more sales like they used to have i would give them a five and be done with it, until then, one of the best places in town for shoes, though there are others that are just as worthy! read more

A great store... Always love dropping by when I'm in LA. It's always a must hit when there. The shoes might be a little pricey but you probably won't be able to find those shoes anywhere else. Months later you might find the same shoe at the outlet for a way cheaper price and sometimes you don't, but that's the risk you have to take to have the things you want when you want it. For sneaker heads, we knew about this place, but ever since the store appeared on The HBO series Entourage, Undftd went to a totally different level. They have opened many stores outside of Southern California, including one in Las Vegas and Tokyo. The first thing you notice about the store is the pond/creek they have, which is pretty cool. You get that Zen like feeling, hearing the water and just staring at works of art (shoes and the large pic of A.I.'s finger). They do sell the usual shoes that other shoe stores have, i.e. Air Force Ones and Signature Basketball Shoes, but people come here for the other shoes. They will carry almost every limited shoe Nike or Adidas come out with that nobody has and they do a lot of collabos with shoe companies (expect to spend the night on the sidewalk if you want a pair). Another thing I noticed was how friendly the people at Undftd were. I don't know if I got lucky, but they greeted me and asked if I needed help, which blew me away since many employees at famous boutiques don't care you once you step in the door. The price range can vary depending on what you are looking for. You can get some kicks for about $60 and pay $250 for some others. Parking is not great in that location. I usually park in the neighborhood behind Undftd, Union, and Stussy. All in all I have always enjoyed going to Undftd since they carry almost every shoe that Hypebeast mentions. If you want to get a pair of shoes that are going to be released on a specific released date and you are in the neighborhood, most likely Undftd will have it. read more

I think this store has great products but customer service needs to improve. Please do not simply stare at me as I walk in and say nothing. Were we in a staring contest???? Maybe they are lacking some basic social skills? I would suggest to have your employees attend an etiquette class on what not to do in customer service. I was looking for Adidas adilette slides and I was so happy that this placed had it in my size. I have been searching for them everywhere. When I first walked in, it seemed very chaotic just because there were so many people in there. But I think because none of the workers had a set uniform, I couldn't tell who was working and who was there to buy things. Not saying they should wear uniforms but just something to distinguish them from other people. Some were behind the counter busy doing things but others were standing by holding shoes or fixing them and putting them back in boxes but they looked like customers. I was afraid to ask them to help me because I didn't want them to be offended if they weren't working. Usually I hate when workers come up to me being nosy and wondering if they can help me with anything but I'm pretty sure I looked like I needed help and two of the workers, who I found out later were workers, just looked at me. Once I asked them for help, the guy was pretty prompt with getting me my size. The guy ringing me up was nice and fast with what he was doing. I'm glad I didn't really have to try on shoes and find different pairs of shoes because the place is really busy. They did have nice brands and I'm just glad I don't have to search anymore for the slippers I got. read more

UNDFTD is always one of my must-stop places when I visit LA. I fell in love with this store when I first visited LA and I look forward to visiting everytime I go back. The store is small and basically shaped like a box. There is a little lake at the entrance with glass sliding doors. Interior is mostly wood and stone. Very zen. The reason I love this place, however, is the inventory. UNDFTD always carries the hottest exclusives and brands. This is a great place to find jewels. UNDFTD was also one of the first places in the US that I've seen carry Visvim. Friendly staff, I've always got help on what I want here. Stumbled into Undefeated after a long day of shopping. It's hard to find sneakers as a female but this guy at Undefeated never fails me. I think he's the manager but I can't remember. Asian guy, always well dressed. My boyfriend started dragging me in here and this guy was always so helpful. Now if I'm in the area I'll come in on my own! Manager of this specific branch does not care for his customers. He flat out told a group of people lined up ahead of time for a limited shoe release on 2/20/15 that "none of you are getting shoes" in order to sell to his buddies that showed up much later than everyone else. The first person in line was a 70 yr old couple that camped out since 2 A.M. for their grandson. Manager did not care at all, no shame whatsoever. Legendary place for kicks. Not really a store but a boutique with a tranquill zen aesthetic and some nice interpretations of well known classics (vans, chucks, af1's, etc.). Been to two locations SaMo and La Brea. Both are distinctive, carry limited inventory up against one wall, though La Brea has a nice little stream in front of the shop. Worth a look, but I haven't bought anything there in ages. They have a problem keeping 10.5s in stock. read more

The new location is way better than the old one across the street, now I can check out the latest sneakers and undefeated gear without ass bumping with random dudes as I bend over to check out some bottom shelf gear. You can always count on these guys to get the latest greatest in sneakers. They obviously carry a full selection of their own line which is great, especially since they make a lot of different sweatpants, me being someone that doesn't wear jeans, because jeans are soooooooooo 2 years ago, sweatpants are a must. read more
