I'm a big fan of their workout shorts. They are pretty heavy duty, have deep pockets (for phone/wallet) and comfortable. My wife also gets most of her gear here too (shorts and athletic sports bras). This place has the best prices, everyone knows it, and it's always packed! On my visit we were looking for school shoes for the kids and I was looking for some new polo shirts. My kids found shoes they loved and the store had their sizes (big plus). I found a slew of polo shirts in their Men's apparel section. The selection was awesome, plenty of L and XL in stock. I did use their dressing room as I am between sizes... the attendants greeted me and let me know which room was opened. On the way out I was greeted again and asked if I needed anything else. Great store with awesome staff. The store is very well staffed; they had all their registers open, multiple staff were out on the floor re-folding items, re-stocking, and/or assisting shoppers. If you were the owner of this store, i really feel bad for you. I wanted to buy an item from your store but none of your employees (who were standing there with nothing to do) is willing to take my money. One of them, looked like a leader told me to wait in line while no one was waiting. They could just take the item and process the payment. Not only that. They were just so rude to your customers. I actually started buying this brand at Ross, but I like coming here because the store is huge and they have a great selection. Quality is the first word that comes to mind... even if the tank tops are thin, they hold up for years. I've had a lot of my sports bras and tanks from this brand for at least 4 years. It is a bit pricier than shopping at Ross, but the quality makes up for that. Apparently they have regular sales: today I got 10$ off of 4 pieces, and that included items on the clearance racks. And wow- pieces on clearance were 50% off the lowest tagged price, making prices comparable to Ross! Everyone was super friendly; they explained the sale with enthusiasm when I entered. And, while shopping, an employee offered me a huge bag to tote my items around in. One thing to note is, because of Covid, dressing rooms are closed. But, they have a 90-day return policy in place so you can try things on in the comfort of your own home. Overall, when I need new workout gear, I will happily make a stop here. Love that there's an Under Armor store at the outlet mall. We are huge fans of Under Armor. Their wicking garments are fantastic. Both my sons prefer their compression shorts over other brands because they're good quality stuff. They have fantastic sales and because they're at the end of the mall where the wine restaurant used to be and if you happen to get to the mall on a day that's not very busy day you can just pull up, walk in, and get what you need to get and get out. Easy, quick, and simple. The employees are very nice, friendly, and helpful. If I'm looking for something I'll call them first to see if they have it stock. If they do, they pull it and set it aside on the counter. This saves me a ton of time. They also offer a 10% military discount and that includes sale items. read more

What the hell kind of RACIST store is this?!! My husband who is Latino, is an IT industry professional and makes an amazing living for himself and our entire family tried to return $100 unworn, ill-fitting sneakers today. Upon his return to the store, he was greeted with chaos and an associate asked if they could help. This was their exchange verbatim: My husband: "Hi! I'd like to return these shoes please. Here is the receipt." The clerk: "Our system is down. We can't do returns or check people out. It usually takes 4 days for our system to fix itself. I can't help you. You know how IT guys are, they take forever and are unreliable." My husband: "Actually, I work for IT." The clerk: "But at least you speak English." The audacity of this person and the absence of their work ethic is absolutely unacceptable. We left LIVID and will be contacting the company over this exchange. I have been ordering the same Under Armour shorts for over twenty-five years (style number 1261121). I have gone through at least twenty pairs during this period. Recently I placed an order on the Under Armour website to order the same pair or something very similar. After I received my new shorts in the mail, I was highly disappointed that they were nothing like the old shorts I have grown to love over the years. Instead of sending the shorts back to Under Armour, I decided to drive forty-five minutes to the nearest Under Armour store. The original employee that helped me was obviously new and wasn't very experienced. He soon asked his manager, Kyle to assist me to find the shorts I wanted and return the shorts I bought online. Even though the store was very busy, Kyle took his time and made sure I was a happy customer. He was able to find the style number of the shorts I wanted and explained that Under Armour discontinued making those shorts. Kyle offered me alternative shorts that are similar and gave me a full refund for the shorts I had previously purchased. In addition to having the best customer service, Kyle noticed that I am in the military and thanked me for my service. It's very rare I have an interaction with someone in retail that motivates me to write a review, however Kyle went above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer. I hope Under Armour realizes they have a highly dedicated employee, and this experience has made me want to continue shopping at the Under Armour in Carlsbad, California. read more

Did a rocket run to the Under Armour outlet store in Carlsbad. The location is convenient since it's close by. Our son needed cleats for football. We found cleats that he liked and he found ANOTHER pair of shoes he liked (shocker). Two pairs of shoes and our total was $43, como say what???? Yup $43, I thought maybe they forgot to ring a pair up and was trying to run out of the store before they realized hahaha, just kidding. You know when you're shopping for that sporty someone and they have everything and you don't know what to get them? Well, shop here, problem solved! I have shopped at three other UA Outlets, in various states, and this is by far the best. They have the best selection, in colors and sizes. They have Women's, men's, boys and girls. I was able to find all the cuts in all the sizes and colors I needed. The store is well organized. And not just "outlet organized", but like real store, well organized and clean. It was easy to find what I was looking for. If I needed help, there was sufficient staff to point me in the right direction. This is one of my "ace in the hole" birthday and Christmas shopping secret spots. Stop in, you won't be disappointed:) read more

UA is one of my favorite brands. So when I saw the new store at the Carlsbad Premium Outlets, I was pretty excited. This store is large. I think there's a good selection of clothing for both men and women here. There's also a small section of apparel for the kids. I even found a section of shoes towards the back of the store. Although there's a nice selection of clothing and accessories here, I didn't think the sales were all that great. We also couldn't find any help when we needed it. We seemed to spend a lot of time wandering around the store. My husband and I bought a few shirts from here and were on our way. I think this store is a great addition to this outlet mall, and I look forward to coming back when there's a really good sale here! read more

Bottom Line: A welcomed addition anchoring the north end of the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. I was excited to see that Under Armor has moved into Carlsbad. Despite living in Maryland where UA logos are always in your face I'm not necessarily a huge fan of the brand but I am glad that tired and dated Bellefleur is gone and that Under Armor is increasing its presence in SoCal. The new UA outlet is huge, clean and well organized with casual apparel for women, men and children. Twenty-five perfect of the staff are super helpful here and 75% are in la la land but that seems to be on par with the rest of the retail industry. The prices here seemed ok. I didn't see any bargains but I was ok with paying what I did to get a nice gift for someone. For those who aren't familiar with the Under Armor brand but are in to athletics, I recommend checking the store out. read more

This places ROCKS for kids clothes and father/son matching clothes. We went to Nike, Adidas, and Lacoste with no luck finding what my son wanted for golf and khaki shorts for this summer. Not only did we find really cool clothes for kids here, they also had matching clothes for my man. And the sizes they didn't have, they ordered online and gave us the same 40% discount that we would've received in the store. We are so grateful that they saved the day. Out of all the stores that we visited today, under armor was the most organized and the calmest. There was help when we needed it and it wasn't mass chaos like the other stores which are also very disorganized. Under armor makes some of the best workout gear. Not only is this stuff durable but even if you're not using it to work out, most of it is just plain comfortable. Their outlet locations always have sales in the 30% to 40% range. It all depends on what they have in stock at the time because the newer stuff might not be on sale at all. This location is always neat even after people have been sifting through the racks and tables. You know, because outlet shoppers can be like fire ants sometimes. Raise your hand if you've experienced fire ants up close and personal. No? Well, fire ants are just like outlet shoppers. Once they get worked up into a frenzy, there's no telling what's gonna happen but someone's liable to get bit. 10% military discount on top of the sales discount is a plus (or minus...like more off...money I mean...you get the point). read more

An employee at Under Amour called my wife a "Karen" during a conversation. It is absolutely unacceptable to call a customer a derogatory name. Quite possibly the worst customer service experience we've ever had. Edwin, the manager in charge, was unapologetic, condescending and refused to give out the actual store managers name. Siting HIPAA laws. Yes, The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Hmm. I've been wearing under armour for years and I've always liked the performance of their products however, you don't get to stop into maky UA retail stores because there arent many. I stopped by the Carlsbad location and browsed.. a sales associate asked if I wanted to get measured for a $30 mask and i was like.. sure, why not. I was on the lower end of a size but she still suggested that I get the Med/Large. I got home, washed it and got it ready for a workout. I worked out in it and it does not stay on my face.. it falls off my nose within like 3 seconds of any movement. I went back to the store, knowing that it was final sale and non-refundable, to give feedback to the staff. The "guy in charge" re-measured me and told me... "yup, that's the right size." As if i was going to be stupid enough to buy another one and test it out. Then he told me to twist the ear loops to make it tighter... I want that guy to try wearing that mask for 30 minutes by twisting the ear loops and provide feedback to the UA design team. I tried it at home and it DOES NOT WORK. buying this mask is a great way to waste $30 - you're better off using a disposable paper mask or get the Adidas masks that are back online 3pack for $20. Do yourself a favor.. save the $30 for an outdoor soulcycle class.. you'll feel better about your purchase! read more

The people who work here are the opposite of friendly. Like I asked one of the guys for help. He looked at me like, "what do you see my muscles? I can bench press 300 lbs. Under Armour is a pretty good brand for athletic wear with good designs. I am not a runner and I'm not crazy about sweat-wicking products so I can't say anything about the stuff that they're known for. What I can tell is that many of their jackets and hoodies are very well-made compared to other brands like Nike and Adidas. Some products, however, already show signs of pilling even at the store! You can tell there's a drastic difference of quality just going from rack to rack. There are some decent discounts in the store. When I went around Christmas time, there was the buy 1 get another 50% off for bags and 40% off for selected hooded jackets. The VIP coupon book might have discounts but only for a certain time period. UA is not a regular on it yet. The staff were mostly friendly but they didn't seem to be knowledgeable of the promotions much. Also one of the staff ran into my dressing room after my answer when he knocked. Wth!? I went here to shop for a Christmas present for my dad. He likes Under Armour because of Steph Curry. Totally expected it to be picked over and unkempt seeing as it's an outlet store and all, but I was pretty impressed with the organization of everything. This UA Factory store is well organized and clean. The staff is helpful and professional. My kids and I were looking for basketball shoes and likely because the high school season was over and NBA finals almost done, they had very little inventory compared to the online store. I.E. no current Curry or Embid basketball shoes. I get it basketball out of season and high school football is starting. However my argument is AAU sports go year round in many of the major sports.... Maybe perhaps COVID supply chain issues (like inventory stuck in a port...). I did find some cross training shoes. My wife bought the kids a lot of workout shirts and shorts which had a great selection and sale at the time.
