However; it is not wise for me to shave backend. It can get itchy whether I do it right or not. I will be punished more severely if I shave my glutes hair the wrong way. That being said, it's time for some waxing to make me feel better. Today, Ms Tina was available when I walked inside the store. I was lead to the back rooms when waxing is usually done. The Nail salon looked like it wasn't getting much business like it use to. However, I could have arrived during a slow time or just missed the rush hour. Tina seemed to know just what I needed, but confirmed this with the question, "What's do you need done?" My answer was "Doing The Butt." Tina smiled at this remarks. After getting on the table, Tina got down to business removing my unsightly hair. The removal of hair from the buttcrack area felt more intense, because I haven't had waxing there in a long time. Nevertheless, once the hair was gone physically, mentally my mind was at peace too. The idea of dingle berries the eyes can't see is something I don't wish to have. Even if I know i am clean down there, the mi d has a way of not being satisfied with that. Maybe this is one reason women tend to get Brazilians or just their butt's waxed. I ended up finding one long hair missed by both of us when it was all said and done. Yes, I inspected my ass once the service is done. This will be taken care off the next time I get waxed in two weeks time. Thanks Tina for putting my mind at ease.

If something wasn't up to her standard, she wasn't afraid to start over, and ensured I was happy with each step and color choice, which I really appreciated. The salon is Korean-owned, and reservations are a good idea since it's usually busy--probably because it's right next to George Mason. The music isn't too loud, and they have TVs playing shows, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Pricing is also more than fair for design nails, and as a bonus, my manicures typically last three weeks without any chips or breaks!

I decided to consult with Kim who suggested I opt for dip to help prevent my tendencies to pick, peel, and nearly rip my entire nail bed off my finger. Kim did a wonderful job. She was delicate, diligent, and understanding. She recommended a natural/light color and I love the result. As for the salon itself, it's clean. There is a great variety of polish, gel, and powders to choose from. The prices are quite reasonable for the attentiveness of the staff. I've never been here on a weekend or holiday but every time I've been here, it's been quiet and serene - like a spa. I love the soft sounds of the water fountain and they have a beautiful Christmas tree in the waiting area.

Honestly, I absolutely love a place with character! I've posted pictures below because they made me cackle--some people might call the decor tacky, but I think it's hilarious. It was such a great takeaway from the experience. The inside has the standard massage chairs you'd expect, the vibe is very "chill and do your own thing," and I'm sure you could ask for tea or whatever else you need. I got a pedicure at the beginning of March (and I know I'm due for another one soon!), but get this: I just got regular polish--no gel or anything--and the color is still completely on my toenails! If you ask me, that is quality. Definitely worth it. If you're in a pinch or just in the area, go ahead and hit this spot. They will not disappoint!

9/18/23 On August…read more19th at 3:24pm, I found myself back at.  This time around I did not get my legs waxed.  I did recieve  The Full Brazilian Waxing.   I thought I had started a review on this location much earlier on, but I guess not.  No matter, no matter, I start a new. Anna I thought might be the one to do the waxing, but it turned out that she wasn't the esthetician for me today. Today a new lady (who's name I now  have forgetten) was my esthetician. For name sake I will call her Magda.  Magda escorted me back to the same room as I have been to before. WAXING EXPERIENCE: After undressing and getting on to the table, I found out very quickly that the chocolate hard wax used last time to do The Brazilian Wax Job, wasn't available this time. Magda applied baby powder to the pubic area, but I was feeling uncomfortable.   I have had Honey wax done for the pubic area, but once that stuff comes in contact with the genitals, things better be done correctly or hair won't be the only thing that gets ripped off the body. My pubic hair had grown back very quickly since my last visit in July.  Magda seeing the hair was to long, took a pair of scissors and cut all the hair to a respectable level. Magda proceeded to apply the warm honey wax and removed my unwanted hair. I wasn't comfortable about the honey wax being applied to my genitals so I asked Magda to avoid this area and wax around the island. I asked if she could shave the island area that had hair and she said she could.  The razor she found under the cabinet looked used to me and upon a closer inspection, I saw that she was going to use a used razor blade on my skin. Oh hell no!!!, I immediately put a stop to this and asked for a new razor blade. Magda had one of the ladies walk over to 7 Eleven and buy a new disposable razor blade.   I ended up paying for the new razor blade at the end of my session, but it was better than the other option. Magda did the shaving well.   The hairs came flying off like a hot knife through butter.   The island was nearly hair free. I did find a lot of hair on other areas of my body that should have been removed by the honey wax.  The lighting in this Blue Sky Room for waxing is horrible. Spotting the hairs on my redish brown skin was hard for Magda to see...hence the needed spot lights. I think she was getting a little annoyed about having to go over areas she missed like Anna was.  I don't like hair between my asscheeks and this is why I am paying $90.00 to have it removed. I was told the price is $65.00 by the male manager. I was charged $90.00 by the lady manager.  This a bit off putting. The new owner of this business hasn't gotten new lighting yet.   I will definitely try the massage here and maybe one more time with the waxing... I hope the next  2 experiences will be  a little better with the added improvements.  For now, I will have to rate this experience a three star experience.
