The front end of my car got hit while I was parked in a parking structure. A friend of mine referred me to Junior at Unibody. I went there on the Saturday of the labor Day weekend. They were closed but I just happened to catch Junior there. He allowed me to leave my car even though they were closed. He put my car in a secure area. After they were done the car (which is an 06) looked brand new. Aside from the front end damage there were a couple other dents and dings that were also taken care of. I can be very critical of businesses, but this is a business that I highly recommend. Very professional and do an outstanding job. read more

*Customer Service Review (completed auto body repair review, pending.) I dropped my car off at this auto body shop and was assisted right away by the guys at the front counter. My car was in an accident and I just needed an estimate on how much repairs would be and they were beyond helpful. Mylon is who helped me the most and he was very knowledgeable of vehicles and what to do with them. Each of the men working there were very attentive and willing to go above and beyond to make sure that my first experience here a safe and honest one. Furthermore, I went in paying $400 for insurance for just my car, and Mylon was able to help me find insurance for half the price that I was paying before with much more amenities. If you're looking for somewhere to make you feel comfortable and willing to leave your car there as they work on it. The employees were professional, after getting a couple of other estimates they were offering the best price, the work was done when promised and there were no surprises. I've had bad experiences before when it comes to things concerning my car because sadly, sometimes mechanics and body shops try to get over on women. PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!!! I went here because of a recommendation from my friend. She said they hooked her up by charging the insurance company way more so she didn't have to pay a deductible and got money back. I was not really concerned with that, I just wanted to know if they did a good job. She said they did and I wanted to support a black business. That was the worst decision I ever made. The owner is named Jake and runs his mouth about things he does know and things he doesn't. He will tell you anything and convince you that he is right by talking. I think he talks a lot because he is used to swindling people, but that is my opinion. They had my car for a simple paint job that took them almost 30 days to complete. According to them, they were actively working on the car the entire time. Because the insurance wouldn't pay to paint the entire car, he asked me for $216 for the extra paint so the car wouldn't be mismatched and wouldn't charge me for the labor. When I decided that I didn't want to pay, he painted the entire car anyways because they in fact had extra paint for the car. 2 days after having the car, the paint started chipping. The funny part about the $216 he wanted me to pay is that I was refunded $216 because I didn't want them to fix something else. I got my car serviced 2 day before taking it to them. The battery was tested and it was good. When I got my car back, the battery was completely dead. The battery died when they had it because I was having trouble with it when I picked it up. In fact, I had to reset the clock in it. They won't even acknowledge that it died while they had it, only when I picked it up did I have problems. They started the car, brought it to the front and turned it off. When I turned it back on, it as hesitated to start back up. Junior mentioned that many customers try to blame them for their dead battery, but they batteries die because the customer doesn't check the batteries. I want anyone to be very aware of going here. I saw a negative review of the company, but I still used it because not all customers would feel the same. My friend stood by their work, but then again, they scammed the insurance company according to her. I am only telling what I was told, and not sure if it is true. I regret not listening to the review. I don't want anyone to go through the same thing, so please stay away!!!! If you choose that shop, the insurance company can't do anything after the bad service. Just go to one of the insurance company's body shops so you won't have to deal with the owner Jake telling you he is not responsible for anything. read more

This place is the worst!! If you care about your car, beware!!! First of all, I wrecked my brand new lexus. You would think that they cared about the fact that it was a brand new car but NOT!!!! The customer service was wack as fuck!!! They are so unprofessional and liars. Secondly, they had so much over spray on my car, it looked horrible. Then, they continued to fuck my front head lamp up, which made me have to take several trips back up to that ghetto ass place. They used some extremely cheap ass paint on my luxury car. Then on top of that, a few months later, the paint began to chip and peel off like a sticker. I hate that I took my car to this ghetto ass place. Oh, and jake is a complete asshole and liar!
