I reached out through Yelp (in desperate panic mode), and they replied fast, explained what I needed, and were super helpful before I even walked in. The place is bright, clean, and has the kind of chill energy that makes you feel like you've been going there for years. Grace took care of my nail and was so gentle.. I was in pain, but she handled it like a pro. She even recommended a nail builder to keep my nails strong, which I didn't know I needed but now swear by. Duyen was sweet and made sure my daughter and I had drinks like we were at a spa. Sophia was working nearby and still had such a kind energy. And Phil? Phil is the unofficial house comedian. If you like your nails with a side of stand-up, he's your guy. AND... Grace and Phil randomly started singing. Like, actual vocals. I came in for a nail repair and somehow ended up at a mini concert/comedy show. 10/10 would attend again. I asked to do square white dip powder and my nail tech wasn't willing to do what I wanted. I got a mani and pedi and my pedi turned out great. The lady was super sweet and provided great service. My manicure tech first told me she wouldn't cut down my nails shorter after I had asked her to which she responded "it'll look ugly". I understand for specific nail shapes like almond a specific length is required to achieve that look but not for square. I then told her about how my family owns nail shops and she proceeded to make a comment about how it's a chop shop based on its location. In any circumstance when is it ever appropriate to make that comment?? This salon is nice and it is on the pricier side but the service does not meet the price point. I had multiple witnesses as well who can attest to these comments since I went with my friends. My square shape also came out wide, bulky, and ugly. I had to refile and reshape themselves. I can't speak for everyone but that was my experience at Blush and I won't be back.
