Pedicure and gel French for $60 plus tip. Note: there is a sign stating that tips must be made in cash. I didn't have cash so I said I would need to leave to go the ATM- they said I could tip on card. I was thankful for this because it saved time. This salon was pretty nice. The massage chairs are newer and the facility is very clean. They put the liner in the pot soaking tub to protect from germs which I appreciate. The man working on my nails was very careful and took his time. At the end of the manicure I got a back massage which was very pleasant. I would suggest to any newcomers to upgrade to the higher level pedicure. The basic pedicure doesn't include much of any callus removal which I was bummed about. Overall a very solid salon. I will update with how long my nails last.

I've been here several times due to the convenience for a regular pedicure and sometimes a manicure too. It's average. I have a great time getting silly nails, like asking for american flags at one point. I'm happy with this small nail salon.

I got my nails done two days ago (dip manicure). The middle nail is already chipped, my index finger is about to chip, and you can see breakage underneath the top coat for every single nail. My cuticles look terrible and after over an hour of the nail tech picking away excess dip off of my fingers, they still look awful. 2 stars for a good pedicure, but I am not happy at all with my expensive dip manicure that I now have to take off (I work 12-hour days and live too far to go back and have it fixed)

I'm visiting from California and needed to find a place to get a gel manicure. I looked on Yelp and most nails places had few Yelp reviews. I decided to give this place a try and wanted to Yelp it ( Yelp is big in California but doesn't seem to be in Syracuse). I had a great experience. I walked in and they saw me within three minutes. Person after person kept walking in and they took everyone. I kept thinking to myself, people are going to wait and get mad but it never happened. They were so efficient that everyone who walked in was in a chair within five minutes. I really don't know how they managed that. The place was clean and the staff friendly. There are plenty of chairs and TVs in with the close caption in. I liked my gel manicure (even though there were a lot of people my manicure didn't feel rushed. She even asked me if I wanted a third coat on my nails and I did). They massaged my neck, back and hands. I also don't like to talk much and I liked how they girl didn't try to force a conversation. Every person got a gift! That's right- a gift. With it being Christmas, everyone got a lotion (In a box) and a desk calendar. I've never been given a gift from a nail salon. When I come back to Syracuse- I will definitely come back here.

I had to leave my service early because the lady doing my nails was filing away at my skin and missing my nail causing my skin to break and bleed. Someone who battles with OCD and is well aware of the risk of HIV exposure at nail salons does not appreciate this. The lady doing my service was so rude when the nice girl at the front desk let me only pay for the one nail she added ($6). I tipped the lady who cut me $1 because I understand that times are tough during COVID. So please use that tip to remind yourself to educate yourself on the spread of HIV at nail salons instead of acting like the customer isn't right, when THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! Especially when you cut them. Moral of the story is 1. Don't cut me and 2. Especially don't cut me on a Monday, because that's the last thing I'm taking at a nail salon!

Jack at Unicorn Nails in Dewitt is truly a cuticle killer. He is a one of a kind find in the Syracuse area. Call and ask for Jack

I asked the woman to fix my design and she refused. This is NOT worth what she charged me.

I would give NEGATIVE stars if I could. I tried to take my little girls to get their hands and toes done and I asked before I got started how much their cost would be. I was told $17 each girl, which I thought was quite reasonable. When it came time to pay they asked me to pay $20 more each child and increased my rate another $5. I asked the manager, whom I spoke to when I came in, and she said that she never said any such thing about the price. I am so frustrated with this place and absolutely disgusted that this is the way they did business. I will NEVER come to this place again and will make sure that my friends and family know not to either.

This is a great nail salon in Dewitt. The atmosphere is very nice and it's always clean. I've gotten a pedicure, 2 gel manicures, and my eyebrows waxed and I've been very happy with the service I've received each time I've been there. The price is comparable with many of the salons in the area. I would recommend this place to any of my friends. They have many pedicure chairs and manicure stations as well.

She also criticized my hair itself. While I understand that she may have been frustrated, this did not warrant such unnecessary behavior, was a very unpleasant experience.

This salon clearly does not care about that. First off, no one ever answers the phone. There is no way to get a hold of the owner, and communication is non-existent. My stylist, Lucky, already canceled on me in December for a funeral, which I understood. But then in January, I rescheduled for a Wednesday, and a day later, I saw my appointment was changed in the system without anyone even telling me. When I finally got a hold of her, she said she was "on a movie set." I had specifically picked "Any Staff" when I booked so that I wouldn't have to deal with one person's schedule, so why was I being told I couldn't be seen? If you're busy on a movie set, you shouldn't be taking bookings from the public. When she finally "fitted me in" at 7 PM, the whole thing was half-assed and rushed. I didn't even get to pick my own glaze color; she just did whatever. I told her I was happy to finally get my split ends under control, and she just dismissed me and said, "everyone has split ends." I go to a salon for the experience and to feel seen, but I felt like I was just a nuisance she was trying to hurry up and finish. To make it even worse, my partner's appointment was also canceled last minute because the other stylist didn't have a babysitter. It's just constant excuses here. Then, when it was finally time to go, Lucky didn't even seem to know how to collect the payment. It was so disorganized and awkward. I still gave a 15% tip because I'm a responsible person and I value labor, but honestly, I feel like I was bamboozled. I could have stayed home and done the glaze and the cut myself for way less money and zero headache. I'm done with professional salons if this is how they treat people. I won't be back.

I'm not kidding. I schedule my vacations around it. The thing is.. over those 8 years my life took some massive downs (some ups) - Ashley became one of the most true and honest people in my life. My cancer treatment started and I decided to cut my hair short - and she did that cut for me (free). My mom died and she reached out and said "come relax and get your hair done - you'll need it before the services" That's someone who truly cares (again didn't charge was just being a good person). She has become a trusted friend, and honestly my hair has never looked better. I cheated on her recently my (ex) doesn't understand how hair works and how it's a part of you (no fault he is almost bald). Ashley did my hair yesterday and we went for a pride theme! OMG. It's insane! This is magazine ready and I'm no supermodel! Marisa's is a creative space where all are included! I've met Marisa maybe 2x and she's a delight!

Before I found her on a whim during my sophmore year of college, I typically got my eyebrows waxed at various nail salons. Unfortunately, I have very sensitive skin and those experiences rarely ended well. Karin's room is cozy and eclectic, which mirrors her personality. During the appointment, she usually has good music playing in the background. She is meticulous and takes her time, which leads to great results. I wouldn't see anyone else for waxing services!

My pedicure was not a positive experience. It was a cold day in January, and my feet were ice cold, but instead of warming my feet up and softening my nails in the foot bath, the technician immediately started to cut my toe nails...which really hurt! I told her I wanted to warm my feet up and started to put them in the bath, she pulled them back out! I also have ingrown toenails, so the painful trimming made me yell "Ow!" Loudly! The nail tech then tried to be somewhat gentle- the final result was that my toenails hardly got trimmed. She did give me a very nice foot and leg massage. However, I do not plan to return.
