If your car has issues, they will advise of the issue. They are STAR Test Certified. They are not a SMOG Test & Repair Company. TEST only. If your car fails you need to visit a Test & Repair facility. Many think SMOG n' Go can do this. They do not. Recently, I took my 2004 Mazda3 2.3L with over 240K miles, to get it smogged once again. The first time was when I took my car out of Non-Op and got operational and it passed. While my car doesn't look the best exterior wise. Keeping up on the engine maintenance helps a lot. Brought in a truck I was working on for smog, after running all the tests and everything passed,…read morethey say they have to fail me because I moved the knock sensors out from under the intake manifold and threaded them into the side of the block using knock sensor relocation brackets, sold for this exact reason. Obviously the wiring had to be extended so it came with a longer pigtail as well. They said I "tampered with the wiring" so they couldn't pass me! I've redone lots of wiring before on this truck! Why does that make a difference? Who's to say it wasn't a shop that installed the brackets for me? Stupid California, but an even more idiotic smog shop. Do not recommend.

A Friday Night Home Run at Penryn Grill!…read more This was our third visit to Penryn Grill, and someone suggested we come back on a Friday night for the clam chowder and fish & chips. Let me just say...it was absolutely worth the return trip! First, the clam chowder. My wife gave it a 10 out of 10, and that's saying something because she's a self-proclaimed clam chowder snob. She rarely finds a chowder that can compete with her favorite spots in Monterey. Well...hallelujah--we finally found one! The bread bowl deserves its own standing ovation. It tasted like fresh sourdough that had just come out of the oven--crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and absolutely delicious. Normally you finish the chowder and leave most of the bread behind. Not this time. I ate every single bite of that bread bowl. It was simply scrumptious. The fish and chips were equally impressive. They served a huge plank of fish that was lightly battered and cooked perfectly.
