Union Bear is a very cool place that offers a great selection of their own in house brewd beer and a large selection of spirts. I had the Ruben Sandwich that was executed perfectly. But what truly made my experience 5 Stars was my server Daisy, she was so sweet and funny and very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed meeting some friends here. They have been several times, but this was our first. Great, easy, laid back vibe yet the service was on point. The food was really good!! The fish n chips was my main course and it may look heavy, but it was light and fluffy with a nice crisp to the batter. The fish was very fresh and flakey, great tartar sauce too! Three of us came in for dinner early on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was more crowded than we expected, but we were seated promptly. My husband had the fish and chips and loved them! My friend had the Reuben sandwich and said it was good. I had the Power bowl salad with tofu, but did not care for the dressing. It was a little too rich for my taste. We've now been five times and it's been consistently great from food to service. The place has been transformed beautifully and love the nod to Armadillo. Highly recommend the Mexican Lager and Rice beer but the UB blonde is also wonderful. The queso or mushrooms are our go-to appetizer, all the pizzas are delicious, and the Reuben. This was the best bar food I've ever had! They have the fluffiest, warmest, most buttery pretzel bites in the world. The Caesar salad is also delicious! They gave me a free sample of the no. 16 beer which I will definitely be getting on my next visit! Great service too! read more

My husband and I have been to Union Bear in Denton and Frisco and in both locations have had great food and great service. Try the Ruben sandwich! The wait staff was so much fun advising my husband on IPA beers and which he might like. We sat on the patio in Frisco even though it was quite hot outside in July. The fans out there moved a lot of air and made the experience quite nice. I highly recommend Union Bear. read more

The easiest 5 stars!! This place is such a vibe! It's huge but also cozy and their current Christmas decor is perfect. Exceptionally friendly service! The food was incredible! I tried the pretzel bites, got a taste of the fish & chips and had a blackened salmon Caesar salad as my main meal. Would absolutely recommend them all. We absolutely loved our experience on opening night at Union Bear! Emma, our waitress, was professional and accommodating as she answered all of our questions. Same goes for Josh at the bar while we got drinks and waited for our table! We really enjoyed their hazy IPA and well as their craft cocktails, specifically an old fashion! We had a seafood allergy in our party. Their biggest downside for us is that they do not fry seafood in a separate fryer. Therefore, the options are limited as even their chips are flash fried! On a positive note, they took great care when prepping our salad and pizza, letting us know as it got delivered that they flagged it for the seafood allergy. We will 100% be going back!! read more

The space is beautiful with a laid back feel. The staff and service were on point. Our waitress was very attentive. Their beer was delicious. We did flights and tried most of them, and they were all really good. My favorites were the rice lager and the Czech Pilsner. The bock is also worth mentioning. Their bourbon whiskey selection is impressive. I was bummed there wasn't much Irish whiskey, but that's ok. We didn't get much food, but the pretzel bites and beer cheese were delicious.
