Came here on a weekend with a group of 7 including 2 kids. Very spacious, airy, and lots of outdoor space with some seating and a place to bag bags/corn hole. There was a kids menu which was a big draw for us and the kids loved their food. I had the grilled salmon dish which was very well cooked and the sides were tasty. Service was great as well. I think this is a great spot for larger groups and groups with kids. Dedicated general parking lot as well as one with lots of handicap spots. Overall I had a great time here and would definitely come back. read more

I was on vacation, and I visited this place for a family dinner. They have a good menu of cocktails and liquor. They do have a good menu of food. I enjoyed the cask strength whiskey flight, fig old fashioned, and plus Chicken Limecello. The dishes I had were so good! Their service wasn't too bad. I appreciate the waiter for keeping refilling my water because I drink a ton of water. However, there were some issues with not bringing the dishes on time. But the front manager was so nice and gave us free cherry old fashioned slushie because of the order issues. But overall, we all are happy and had a good time. read more

We ate at union hall on a busy weekend night, so I can understand service being a little slower than normal, but our service was probably the slowest I've ever experienced. We had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated-again, a busy weekend and there was live music outside, so not really a problem. However, once seated, we went about 30 minutes before seeing our waitress. No one stopped by to fill water cups, ask if we'd been helped, take drink orders, or anything of the sort. Once our waitress stopped by, we ordered our drinks, a couple appetizers, and entrees. It took another 20 minutes to see either of our drinks, so in total nearly an hour between being seated and getting a drink. We got our food shortly after, and I will say it was really tasty, so no complaints on that side. As we were wrapping up our meal, I ordered another drink, and asked for the check. I got my drink shortly after, but it took another 20-30 minutes to get the check. I understand it was busy, but we sat for about 2 hours and watched many tables that came in after us eat, leave, and be cleared before we received our check. All in all, our server was nice, the food was good, but the service was so slow that it ruined what could have been an excellent dinner. read more

Really have tried to like this restaurant... been a dozen times. It's overpriced and underwhelming. The smash burger is meh. The skirt steak is always over cooked. The limoncello chicken is devoid of flavor. The French onion soup is a mush type consistency. The booze is always good. I'll give them that , cocktails are a bit pricey as well. It's beautiful inside I have to say that. There is a ton of room and you never feel like you're crushed up against other people. Our server was wonderful. She was not on us all the time, but she was not away so long that we felt like we didn't have enough attention. We had the corn fritters and those were delicious but honestly, the rest of the food was pretty so so. My husband, son and I were not impressed with any of the food that we had. I had the whiskey flight and I only liked two of the whiskeys that I had. Plus I had zero desire to buy a bottle of anything. We really have no desire to go back and eat there. Who knows though - we may just change our minds and decide to go and give it another shot. It definitely has some merit. read more

Been wanting to try this brewery! They opened in October 2023 and is very industrial atmosphere inside. The tables are preset when you walk in the door and looks nice. The menu has a nice variety of food and gin drink specials! Dessert coffee drink was ice coffee with eggnog- so good! Service was excellent and not too crowded. Shout out to our waitress Laurel for providing awesome customer service for my party and I. Starting off the whole place is huge and very open, which I liked a lot. Despite having a lot of windows, the building was well insulated, and the temperature was satisfactory. The atmosphere was great. They have the tables spaced out just the right amount to where you can enjoy conversation ls at your table without over hearing another's. The volume and choice of music were perfect as well. Let's get to the food! We started off with the beer biscuits that came with a featherbone pawpaw jam and honey butter. The biscuits themselves were small but cooked well and had a great toasted crust on them. By themselves, they were okay, tasted like a very strong pizza crust imo. With the jam, it added a nice apple cinnamon sweetness with a kick. I personally enjoyed them the most with just the honey butter On to the mains I opted for the smash burger with everything on it and fries. The smash burger comes with a triple pepper seasoned beef patty, American cheese, lettuce, caramelized onions, gin pickles(I forgot I don't like pickles), and roasted garlic aoli It was a great burger, and you can not go wrong in getting it. My fries were unfortunately on the colder side, but they were seasoned nicely, and the ketchup was freshly made in house, and you could definitely tell. I think the main star of tonight was the B.T.B sandwich, which is turkey schnitzel, lettuce, tomato, onion, and cranberry mustard aoli. If that sounds good to you, I promise you it tastes even better than you're thinking. It was crunchy, juicy, seasoned with love, flavorful, delicious, scrumptious, and I could go on. Honorable mentions: The Cinnamon raisin grilled cheese, made an appearance, and I was told it left the customer speechless. Drinks: The Purple Rain was very enjoyable by my table, and they loved the color changing effect. I enjoyed my O.C.G, If you wanted a stronger flavored angry orchard, this will definitely suit your tastes. Overall, the experience was outstanding. An aesthetically pleasing experience. You start with a journey through all the native plants to get to the entrance and arrive in cafeteria-esque dining hall. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Khristian, our server, went above and beyond to get coffee beans so I could reset between whisky in the flight, and was a delight to chat with. The place looks great, the inside looks cool, and even the bathrooms look great. However, I went to look at the menu and realized there is pretty much no Gluten Free foods. There were few foods that were GF. Yet, I didn't really like any of the food but the chicken. And personally, that's just my opinion, but I couldn't try anything else because I can't eat gluten. Anyway, the service was good, and I really would recommend this to others. But I don't think I'm going to come back soon, there just isn't enough on the options for me to eat. Been wanting to try this place for a while, glad we did! We had a reservation and were seated relatively promptly, considering it was a full house and everyone was clearly enjoying themselves and not in a hurry to leave. I don't blame anyone for lingering, there's so many drinks to try and a great, open atmosphere. Our server, Josh, was attentive, helpful and personable. I had the Indiana Buck mocktail to drink and my husband had a night cap cocktail, both were delicious. We had the corn fritters appetizer, they were so good! For dinner, my husband had the crispy pork confit and I had the meatloaf. Aaaaand here's why they don't get 5 stars: The food was unattractive with portions that were disappointingly small in contrast to the large plate the food came out on. For the price, I expected the food to look more appealing. I'm very aware meat loaf is not the most attractive meal on the planet, but it could easily be garnished with a little something other than 2 onion rings in the same color palette as the rest of the food...brown. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they ran out of whatever they use to garnish it. My husbands plate looked okay but still not exactly appetizing. **I cannot stress enough... the food was very good despite its appearance. Also worth noting: We saw several schnitzel and smash burger sandwiches coming out of the kitchen. Those portions were more aligned with price/appearance. We noted that for the next time we visit.** For dessert, we had the grasshopper brownie sundae. And let's face it, if you put Valpo Velvet ice cream on anything, it's gonna be delicious. I laughed to myself at the size of the brownie because it was much larger than I expected after seeing the portions of our dinners (absolutely a shareable dessert). Appreciated that the brownie was garnished with a mint leaf. Overall, a great experience (thanks largely in part to Josh). We will gladly come back. read more

Oh man, where to begin. I realize the place is new and there may be some kinks to work out for sure, but the amount of flaws we had happen in our experience today was not the best. Let's start with atmosphere! The place is beautiful and super unique. Really cool vibe all around. Service was really good at first. We sat down and were greeted and poured water promptly. We were the only table in at the time and then 3 more tables came in. There looked to be around 3-4 servers so none were like overwhelmed with a ton of tables. That being said, we had to ask for water refills 3 times before our waitress finally refilled our glasses. She was not attentive at all. Our food experience was not good. I ordered the meatloaf, my husband got the smashburger and our 2 sons each got the chicken fingers and fries. Our food was sent to the wrong table when it came out and another patron touched my husbands burger bun when it was set down in front of her so they had to remake it in order to bring it to my husband (which I do appreciate them doing) in the meantime we were given our food and when my meatloaf was set down, I knew something was off. It for lack of better words, looked like cat food. I cut it down the middle and tried a bite and it was ice cold, not cool, absolutely ice cold. I then had to wait for our waitress to finally look at our table for me to tell her that I couldn't eat it. So she took my plate. My husbands burger finally came out and his was ok. It was nothing spectacular. So 20 minutes goes by, my family is done eating their meals and my meatloaf comes out. I will say the freshly cooked meatloaf was much better but again, not worth the $21 or the wait. The manager was the one that brought it to me and he said "we will take care of that for you, you won't be charged" So we get the bill. There is an appetizer on it that we didn't order and my meatloaf is on it. We then had to wait another 10 minutes for the waitress to bring back the corrected bill. And again, I could understand if they were super busy but she only had 2 tables! The other table she had also had issues and had to send back cocktails and cancel cocktails because the amount of time it was taking for the bar to make them. Cool place but they really need to work out these kinks because it's not worth the money as it is right now. read more

We have been here a few times before. My wife saw that they have a perch special on Monday's and wanted to go for it.. the fish was dried out and very small pieces. It was not worth the $25 at all. We went with a party of eight people. The hostess stand is not readily marked. It can be a little difficult to find depending on which door you enter. It has been only open a few weeks and they are working out the bugs. The appetizers came before the drinks. We got a few appetizers: the hummus and vegetables and the cheese dip. The vegetables on the hummus tray were not good. The cauliflower had black spots on the crowns and the carrots were 1" square and 6" long. The cheese dip had bread triangles that were pretty chewy and no flavor. The main courses were pretty good. I had to remind our server to take my drink and meal orders other wise I would have not gotten anything. They are working on getting it right. We have high hopes for the place. We will try again in a few weeks. read more

Great ambiance and food. There were 3 dining spaces in the restaurant. At 4:30 pm they were all full. Make reservations. FYI, the hostess stand is on the south side of the restaurant while most people are entering from the north. Food was delicious and came out in a decent amount of time considering there was a packed house. Our waitress apologized several times for delayed drinks, but it didn't bother us. We are Journeyman fans and enjoyed the time to soak in the new "kid". Make sure to visit the gift shop, but be warned they don't have everything in stock that you typically find at Three Oaks. read more

Seated promptly at a table. Waiting for our friends, our server filled our water glasses. When our friends arrived our server took drink orders and returned to take our orders. I ordered the meat loaf and mashed potatoes. It was excellent. Hub's smashburger was good. Served with way too many fries! Our server kept our drinks refreshed and cleared our plates without being overly intrusive. Overall a good experience but a bit pricey. read more
