For the kool kats into Japanese streetwear, this is the place. Been here far too many times considering they don't stock for the girlz. However, it's the place to drop a dime on Visvim, Head Porter Plus, Neighborhood, Wtaps, Silas, and BBC. Few places have better finds unless you make it to the Harajuku. Watch for sales...you can find great bargains (relatively speaking). read more

Union has been around for a while now and I still haven't bought anything here. I like the layout and the services but the product they offer is a little high priced for streetwear. If you're into the original fake, head porter, and that type of thing check it out. Stussy and Undefeated are next door and owned by the same fam btw. read more

If I can give this company a 0 I would. I placed an order for an air jordan 1 storm blue on November 17th. They charged 30 dollars for ground shipping and it didn't ship until 3 weeks later. I finally receive the shoes and it was the wrong colorway. Not only did they send the wrong color the shoe came without a receipt. I emailed them numerous times and I get a response along the line of Oh no! We can refund you. Clearly an employee swapped out the shoe. I contacted Nike corporate and they informed me that this is not the first complaint about this store. Some stores lack integrity and Nike should avoid collaborating with them in the future. read more

Union L.A. carries exclusive merchandise--no joke. One brand worth following is Visvim, which only channels their apparel through Union in SoCal Fight Club Los Angeles carries their shoes, and HUF up north in San Francisco has a small selection to my best knowledge, but Union is where it's at. Visvim is not for the weak minded though. Take their apparel under serious consideration, for their simple and classic designs. read more

Guys here can be pretty rude, but the main manager (ali, was that his name?) seemed chill. but i can now see what people were talking about when the workers here have their noses up high, but it's okay because they sell higher pricepointed shoes and they filter out the guys who wont spend money. i still give this place 5 stars for the dope Bape adidas shoes they hooked me up with. read more

Been coming here for years now. They carry a lot of brands that no other store has (probably the only store in SoCal that stocks W)Taps, NBHD, Visvim). Sometimes, the only store in the country that carries one particular brand. Many complain about price, which I don't understand. Like going to LV and complaining about price. I been here numerous times, almost every time im at around La Brea, ill come here. They have a lot of hard to find street brands from around the world such as Acronym, BBC, Head Porter, Perks and Mini, Visvim, etc. I only purchased from here when they have a sale going since i can't afford any of there stuff when there are no discount. They do have great sales though, some times over 50% off, i remember buying a Ice Cream backpack that originally cost over $300 for about $100. I've been going to this store since i can remember. Like 15+ years. Dope, dope, place. Always been dope. Great atmosphere, good smellin', good music, good place to be - even if you just browsin around checking out new styles. I always get a greeting when i walk in the door, regardless if they've seen me in there or not - I guess just out of courtesy. Sometimes, yeah - they're chopping it up with they're homies and don't pay me no mind - what's wrong with that? No biggie... Why the need to feel all special just because u walked in? Maybe if most didn't walk in with a buyers attitude like you've seen and bought everything before they might be a little more friendly to ya. Although this is categorically speaking a men's clothing store, I love to shop at Union Los Angeles. Who cares if it's made for a man, but a woman wears it instead? As long as I don't look like a bull dyke (or un-feminine, is probably a better way to put it). Their clothes are to die for and this store carries the cream of the crop in terms of streetwear brands such as Born x Raised, Thom Browne (all clothing will be definitely only for men, but Thom Browne makes accessories too, y'know), Richardson (one of my personal favorites), Raf Simons (eh), Braindead (my other favorite), brilliant t-shirt designer, Kostas Seremetis, Stray Rats (my third favorite), Acronym, Neighborhood, Some Ware (awesome name and pretty cute clothes), 917 (funny and cute too, but mostly for guys), and Off-White (fourth favorite?). I found this store walking around near the La Brea Tarpits one day, went inside and was (inside my head) wondering if many people were aware of how this store might be like the best store ever... at least for guys casual clothes. Then, I looked online and found out that I didn't make the discovery Christopher Columbus style, but that the store is known as the best clothing shop in California. I read it on a list of the best stores in every state. Well, yes I would agree with that list for the state of California and I would suggest that you go shopping...there. I ordered a Junya Watanabe jacket online from this shop on June 17 and promptly got a confirmation email. When I still hadn't received the jacket by 26.06 I sent them an email to ask where it was. All I got back was a generic cancellation order saying that the item I wanted was out of stock. Zero points for transparency or customer service. There are a million places that sell the same things as these guys - do yourself a favour and order from one of them instead. read more

great store if you into streetwear. no doubt, they hold l.a. down. i really like the original fake line, be sure to check that out if you stop-by. they now carry bbc/ice cream (slightly larger selection than barney's and conveyor) if your into that. big crowds swarm here on saturday afternoons. weekdays are ideal. double check signs for street cleaning to avoid those parking tickets. read more

I don't see why so many people are complaining just because the girl didn't say hi when you walked into the store.. She didn't say hi to me either and It didn't really matter to me... If you notice a lot of the major boutiques like this shop will just let you walk around and explore the store without bothering you at all, but if you need help, they're there. The lady was actually really nice to me, asked her if they had my size left so she checked but they didn't. Came back later because I remembered the one on the hanger was my sized so I went downstairs and asked her if I could buy that one, she even came back upstairs with me to get it for me.. Twice a year i make it left to LA and UNION is the first place i go. I leave with something every time. The service has always been the best, very helpful, i don't need them to hold my hand and walk me to the items. The prices are expected i can't get the things they have in there in Texas so i don't mind the price. If you like BBC Original Fake this is the place to go! read more

Not a reflection on all of its employees but this place needs some better customer service skills. I walked in and was not greeted and when I was browsing the guy at the desk did not offer to help me find anything. He was too busy looking at his computer. I went up to the dude and asked him about a shirt I had seen on their online store and he said I could only buy it online and quickly went back to his computer. Kept looking until I found a new dude at the front and asked him the same question. Luckily he said they did have the shirt but would have to get it from their warehouse which was like a block away. Ten minutes later I got the shirt. This dude deserves a raise or promotion and they should just fire the d-bag that was there before. read more

Know your damn shoes before selling it to consumers. I bought my girlfriend a pair of Buscemis from here and it was a size 6. I asked if this was the smallest they make in these. Mind you, I'm shelling out a $1000 pair of sneakers so of course I have some concerns and I don't know anything about that brand. My gf was super stoked to open her gift but it was big on her. Dude told me that 6 was a perfect fit because Euro ran small. It was the total opposite. I saw somebody with the same shoes at Beverly Center and we were just exchanging words and I said too bad 6 is the smallest for girls. The girl looked at me confused and said that 5 is the lowest and that she is wearing the 5 right then and there. I immediately called these scumbags and they said sorry there's nothing we can do because your girlfriend wore it. The "manager' gave me the biggest attitude over the phone and he said he won't deal with it. What kind of crap is that? She wore it once and it was indoor, If anyone looked at my gf shoes, it can still pass as DS. We contacted Buscemis ourselves and THEY were happy to exchange it for us and that they were going to let their Sales Manager know about this situation at Union. I hope they wont allow you guys to sell their shoes anymore. Your workers are terrible and your manager is crap. Do not shop here! read more

i hate this store. if your looking for over priced streetwear sold by pompous a-holes be my guest. my friend from new york has had similar experiences at the one out there. i had a problem shopping here on my birthday and the very "higher than thou" owner came out and was very rude when speaking with me. union isnt good people. do yourself a favor and walk a few stores down to american rag, see if something interests you there. read more
