I was looking for a new mailbox rental place where I can receive my package from private companies like FedEx or UPS and the most importantly where somebody could sign them for me. I checked the UnionPost SF and they had the best reviews in the Financial District and seems that they recently opened this new location at inner Richmond. I got a mailbox here after getting a Yelp deal - 2 months free after we set it up for 1 year. Great services - they notify me by email when I have boxes or packages that were singed for. The employees are cool and always willing to help. They also provide a tons of other services such as notary, internet access & fax, live scan fingerprinting, document shredding and many other services which I have not tapped into yet. I took passport photos here before. The blonde lady was sweet and kind. However, the guy working there is unbelievably rude. I came in today and asked for fax service there to fax some of my confidential documents. I asked him how much. "Look at the board," he said. I was pleasantly surprised how the new owner has transformed this place. It is unrecognizable. Clean, spacious, and much more pleasant do to your business. I went there for live scan fingerprinting my employer required and I have 3 words to describe their service: quick, easy and convenient. I noticed the new owner has also replaced the ancient copy machine with a brand new color copier and has brought in mailboxes that you can rent. Really disappointed with this place have always loved the convenience and opening hours. Went here today for passport pictures. Greg asked what we wanted when I said passport pictures he told me the price. I told him about the yelp check in offer he said it wasn't valid. Ok so false advertising. He obviously didn't like that I questioned him. He then decided he would serve someone else again. He proceeded to awkwardly flirt this customer for 15 minutes while 4 other people stood behind us in line. So disappointed as normally staff are so helpful here. read more

Needed a place to get UK-style passport photos taken, and these guys were the very best. They immediately knew all the guidelines, made sure I was really happy with the end result (they took a few shots and let me choose between them; c'mon, if you're going to live with the picture for 10 years, you need to not hate it!), printed me way more copies than I needed, and then double- and triple-checked once they were printed to make sure the measurements were exactly right. As a bonus, I realized I could then send my passport forms off from there too--they happily checked every available option to find me the quickest and most cost effective one (DHL, randomly), then took care of the whole transaction. This place is great. A lot of services offered and stuff is always friendly and professional. They give you all help you need to send your parcel. Usually I hate all the process of packing and looking for the best and cheapest carrier. Those guys make all parcel-sending process hustle-free. I have been coming to union post for many years. I was one of the first people to ever obtain a P.O box at this location. Matt is among one of the staff that is always like a ray of sunshine in my day! They always email me about my packages & always treat me well when it comes to paying on time and what have you. Needed 35x45mm passport photos and got exactly that! The woman working was very nice and offered to take a second picture and gave me a choice between the two. I also got some copying done there which saved me a trip to FedEx. Noticed they have many other services available (shipping labels, live scan fingerprinting, etc.) so I'll definitely stop by when I need those! Just got off the phone with the rudest personnel working at this location. His name is "Greg". He was helping one customer before my wife this morning and was told to wait which my wife did patiently. However, another lady walked in after and she was given service right away even though he was suppose to still be helping the guy before... not only was he bias on who he was serving but more importantly he was condescending when I was on the phone with him and he was trying to educate me the world of logistics. On top of being rude and condescending, he cut the phone call short and offered no apologies or a reasonable and acceptable explanation. My wife is a regular here and I would prefer to keep coming because all the other workers there are nice. I guess, we will just have to check each time to make sure if Greg is working, that we will go out of our way to avoid him. He isn't nice nor a fair person. Be aware! read more

RUDE SERVICE EVER!! Came in to drop off boxes for UPS, gotta say I never ever complain anything over Yelps. But I have to do it this time. The african American guy is a clark. I approached him at the counter " Hi, I just want to drop boxes for UPS" he seem annoying and asked me "OK, do you need a receipt, let me ask you" I said yes. He seems rush and annoying even though, there was no customers behind me. I wait and let him finish and print out the receipt, while I started to pull my wallet as I wanted to buy a lottery tickets, he saw me took my wallet, and rolling his eyes and lift has arms up like come on... So I ask him "what's wrong?" He asked me "anything else for you?" That was it,, I told him " it is ok, I am not gonna buy anything then" I left the store with feeling of " may be they dont want me to do the business here" I really feel this because the first customer( he is American) before me also bought the lotto ticket with a clark. The clark was nice to him and even said " good luck,sir". While me( as Asian) he gave me the annoying looks like I was bothering him. read more

New owner bought the place and voided all prior owner's contracts with boxholders. Having paid a year in advance, I was told I had to sign a new contract as of Jan 1st (about 6 months into my contract) and pay new fees. Extremely rude new owner called us liars. Blamed everything on prior owner. Clearly has no understanding of reality or how to serve customers. Not worth the time and money to try to recover less than $100. Kind of deal where you just cut your losses. Stay away from this place; the guy appears to have no ethics or clue. read more

Great Service! Needed to get a bunch of things done for a license application and this place was a one stop shop for it. Needed to get my certificate notarized, live scan, and passport style photo and they had it all. To top it off, I was only in there for like 20-30 min. That is impressive considering the amount of things I had to get done. The guy helping me was very friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. This place was a great all-purpose stop. I was submitting an application to sit for the Oregon Bar exam and was able to get a form notarized, ink fingerprinting with the card to be sent supplied in the store, and send the entire packet priority mail all in one stop.
