I went on a snowy day to get a pedicure. This place had no customers for the hour and a half I was here. I was only out because I had a doctors appointment, but thought I would get a pedicure since I assumed they would not be busy. Most businesses were closed today because of the snow, and the parking lot was full of slush and snow. When my pedicure was finished the nice young man who did my pedicure began to put sandals on my feet. I said "I won't be able to walk in the slush with sandals on because there's snow on the ground" He said " you should have gotten a gel pedicure, regular polish is going to take a long time to dry so you can't put your shoes back on. You just have to wait or walk outside in the sandals." OK I guess that was true and was a consequence of my decision to get regular polish. I had asked how much my pedicure would be when I came in and was quoted $30 however, when I went to pay, I received an up charge of five dollars because they had to remove gel from my my last pedicure. So that was an up charge of five dollars. They had a sign that said if I paid cash I would get a discount, but that was not applied until I asked for it. The young man who did my pedicure was very sweet, but the two other gentlemen who worked there (probably more in their 20s or 30s )we're not particularly kind or helpful. Overall, it was not a great experience as they all seem to find humor at my need to walk across the parking lot in sandals through slush and snow and where happy to upcharge me and reluctant to give me the discount I was entitled to, even though they had a sign posted that they gave a discount for cash. Needless to say there's a lot of nail salons in town and I won't be back. read more

In a past review I had given them 5 stars. Very, very disappointed this time. I walked in, showed them 2 specific pictures of a clear magnet polish that I wanted. ASKED them if they could do this and if not no big deal I would wait to get into another salon, PAINT NAIL bar. They assured me they could, started the pedi and when it came time to paint, told me they were unable to do a magnet gel. They still me charged me for a pedi, even though I walked out with bare, no polish toes. What?!!??? While my gel manicure turned out fine, my friends acrylic nails were absolutely horrible. The older gentleman who did them was rough with her hands/fingers and overall the nails look really bad. They were super thick at the tips and some of the actual nail shapes were not right, as well as little bubbles/debris in the gel polish. She went back in and asked him to file and fix a few spots which he barely did. Ultimately we just left, knowing she just wasted her money. read more

I went in over lunch for a quick, basic pedicure. I chose the level 1 which was $30 and asked if they could do gel polish so it would be dry quicker. In their defense, I did not ask what the upcharge was but having done it multiple times at other salons, I figured it would be $5-$10 dollars extra, especially since their gel manicure is advertised for $35. To my immense shock, when I went to check out, my total was $51.50. I said- oh I got the basic $30 pedi. He said there's a $20 upcharge for gel. $20!!!!!!!!! Older gentleman was very rough with me. Did not scrub well on my pedicure, leaving me with calluses. He used the wrong color after I asked for a specific one multiple times. Very disappointed in the service that I received today. The person doing my nails was very rough with my hands and lazy with his work. They completely rushed me and didn't ask me what shape i wanted and they just started filing in a random shape. One of the colors I chose didn't appear as it did on the model and when questioned the nail tech got an attitude and treated me poorly.
