Won't give you a refund if your nails chip or fall off the next day! I have time stamp photos and within two days my paint was chipping really bad plus you can see the fill at the end of my nail bed! Messed up my shape on when my previous set was done so well! I'm extremely disappointed at the fact that she could take my perfect set and ruin them with such a poor and lazy job! Ni Ni was recommended to me. The first two times were weird. My dip was thick and darker pink. When they started growing out they looked terrible. I really wanted to give her a chance. The third time she had someone else remove my nails. They were very think and uneven. She was really busy, so she rushed doing them. They didn't look very good. I went home and cleaned them up. I thought I'd try ONE MORE TIME. She was really busy again, so she had someone else remove my nails. She did such a rushed job that I had to tell her afterwards that they looked terrible. She did clean them up, the fact that she didn't care that they looked bad bothered me. I canceled my next appointment and went back to the technician I used to go even though it's further away. i got my nails dipped here. As the man who was doing my nails started. He filed down MY NATURAL NAIL. with an electric file. They stayed on. Looked pretty while I had them. But after they fell off. I went to Nini today to get a jelly pedicure and gel manicure. I used a Groupon. The lady who did my nails was GREAT. My toes and fingers are perfect! She was very clean in her application. The pedicure felt great. She didn't do a whole lot to my hands-- when I got manicures in the past they came with a hand massage-- but the gel looks great. I can't speak to how they will hold up since I've had them done for less than 3hrs at this point. They don't have the largest color selection but it was okay as long as you don't want something too crazy. Also, not to get too gross but they also told me I was starting to have some athlete's foot on my big toe nails. I had been worrying about the white spot and they were very helpful and even sold me some cream. I looked up the cream and their diagnosis on my iPad while I was getting the pedicure and found that they were charging a fair price for the cream and the cream was effective, according to reviews. I have had two previous pedicures since I noticed the white spot and they were the only people who told me what it was. Overall, they were very nice. There was only one other lady there when I walked in and by the time I left there were three people getting pedicures and two people getting manicures. There were only three people working so I can see how it can get a little crazy if more people walked in. I got right in with my appointment. read more

I finally got sat at 5:25 and my feet soaked in luke warm water for 20 minutes before anyone attended to me. They were so busy I didn't get any kind of foot massage and my cracked heels are just as bad as when I had arrived. Basically I got a foot rinse and a polish. Then it was time for my manicure....another disappointment. The lady was doing my shellac mani and another girl's shellac mani AT THE SAME TIME. She was huffing and puffing as she went back and forth between us as though we were really putting her out. It was not a relaxing or enjoyable experience AT ALL. I had even made an appointment!! I purchased a goupon for gel color so I could try them out. In the fine print, you had to add $10 for a manicure which I added. I also got a pedicure. During my pedicure, the woman was hurting me and I told her nicely, "That hurts". She looked up, seemingly bothered and kept hurting my feet. My feet are not sensitive but she was cutting me. The leg massage was good and my toes still look good. The gel manicure was done by a man and he was nice. I like the OPI colors they have. My nails looked great for a week but started peeling after one week. I've had gel polish last up to 3 weeks by ManiPediMe in OP, KS. So, this was a disappointment. :( read more

Until I came back and it wasn't nini who did my nails it was someone else and I was NOT pleased with the way my nails were done, although she was also very sweet but she dented my nails with the drill when I was only getting my nails painted. I wasn't getting acrylics or gel so it wasn't necessary so now I have to wait for a crescent shaped dent on my nails to grow out. A young gentleman did both my pedicure and manicure and he could not have done a better job. He took the time to go through each step carefully and asked me questions along the way. All of the employees seemed very nice and I could tell that they all really cared about treating their customers well. I had a formal event coming up, so I bought a Groupon for a shellac manicure and basic pedicure from Nini's Nails as it is pretty close to my work and came at an opportune time. I went on a Thursday after work. I arrived a little early and they got me right in. While I was getting my toes done, the waiting chairs filled and a lady with an appointment was still told she'd have to wait to get in (so she left). Since they were so busy, they didn't take the time to work on my feet and left them pretty rough (though she was very good about tending to them through my wiggles). They also didn't appear to pay proper attention to my manicure. In 24 hours, one nail started peeling and on my way the next morning to get it fixed (a 46 mile round trip from my house, which had to be done since the formal was that night), another started to peel. This may've been my first shellac manicure, but I do know they're supposed to last about two weeks. Then, luckily for me, when I got back home and did my dishes, the other eight nails started to peel. I did not have time to go back once again to fix them. I had to paint them myself with a mismatched color since I couldn't easily get the newly redone nails clean. As I write this two days later, one of the two redone nails has peeled off. I will never return here and I'm happy Groupon gave me my money back. read more

I received a Groupon coupon to go to Nini's nails for a full set of "powder" nails. They turned out to be acrylic and they just named them fancy. I am not even sure WHERE to start but I would NEVER go back to Nini's nails if there was a free promo going on. I called Tuesday to set up a 1pm appt on Saturday. I told the gal who answered the phone, which I think was the owner I paid for a Groupon to have a full set applied. I also let her know I would like to have French instead of color since I had an interview on Monday. She said "ok see you at one" (she did take down my name and number so that was good) I got there at 12:45pm and so did another lady. Her and I both walked in and announced we were here for our 1pm appt. The owner asked us to sign in and told us she would be with us in a minute. I KNEW this was going to be a horror story as soon as I stepped in the door and saw JUST the owner acknowledge we had walked in. As I sat there and waited I realized the owner was doing 4 different girls nails at one time. She would spend a few mins with one person and then leave the other 3 hanging, it was really odd. I figured maybe there were just really busy because of the Groupon deal and didnt think too much of it. Then the owner came over to the other lady and I and asked us to go ahead and sit in a pedicure chair to "relax" with some water. She didnt ask me or the other lady what we were there for...I tried to tell her I was there for a full set not a pedicure but she insisted I sit there and relax. She turned on our water and walked away....no one paid any attention to the water level until I said "umm can someone turn this off?" as it just about overflowed. My water was fine temperature wise but the lady next to mine said hers was really cold. They had no problem fixing it for her which was nice. Anyways, by 1:20pm another gal walks in and announces she is here for her 1pm appt. At this point the lady next to me looked at me and laughed and we both realized this place had NO idea what it was doing in terms of scheduling. Let's move on to the horrible pedicure. None of the guys that did pedicures (there were 3) knew English, so you could see them constantly struggling to speak to the other customers. Anyways, when the guys pull up to me as well as the other lady to do our pedicures they do not ask us what kind of pedicure we want....I said "I was just sitting here to relax" and the other guy said "no pedicure??" I needed a pedicure anyways so I reluctantly said "ok". He cut all of my nails crooked and too short. He then rushed through removing the dried skin on the bottom of my feet and didnt clean out under my nails like every other pedicure I have ever had. I tried to tell him they were cut too short and he kept saying "no...no" so I gave up. The lady next to me then asked "so what makes her pedicure and my pedicure different? I paid for a Jelly Pedi" the guy doing my nails LIED TO HER FACE!! he said "your skin be soft" I felt soo horrible but I didn't want to tell her he lied to her. A Jelly Pedi is when they put special stuff in the water to make it literally turn into a jelly like substance and it is supposed to add a whole new element of relaxation, they did not do this for this lady...they gave her the basic pedicure just like me. They didnt massage you and didnt put lotion on you...they just butchered my toes. Once I was able to see them painted I realized he painted all outside of my toenails and didnt even clean it up...my toes looked horrible. On to my acrylics, the guy doing my nails had SUPER long finger nails, super chapped lips where the skin was peeling off and spoke zero English, I just had my nails done yesterday (Saturday, June 30th) and I already have one popping off. He didnt cut back my cuticles, or even apply the acrylic evenly enough so when you look at my nails you can completely tell the difference between the tip and the acrylic, nevermind the fact they look are thicker than all get out. I told him I wanted them shorter so I wouldnt have any problems typing and he argued with me...telling me "too short...too short" and I said "PLEASE file or cut them, they are too long" he filled them down a tiny but and every time he passed the file on my nails he hit my knuckles...and I kept pulling my hand back bc it was nicking my skin. He didnt clean up my nails at all I had glue all outside of my fingers and acrylic stuck underneath my nails when the tells me to go wash my hands...I wanted to get out of there so bad I didn't even argue. I went washed my hands and tried to pick off the acrylic and ended up damaging a nail. I came back and told him to fix it and he looked at it and said "no no its fine' I was like "omg...thats it I am so done here" ...I am hoping going to my interview Monday I hope they dont notice how horrible they look. IF you get a Groupon deal I advise you to NOT buy it and NEVER go to Nini's nails. read more

This place was a serious disappointment. Myself and 3 friends got the Groupon so that we could have a Girls Day Out a few months ago. We made an appointment to make sure that we could all be seen together and hang out while we got our mani/pedi. We all had to wait at least 10 minutes, then two technicians took two girls and started their pedicures. My sister and I sat there another ten minutes until one technician came over and did both of our pedicures at the same time. My friends pedicures took about 40 minutes, with their individual technicians, however, my sister and I's took a total of 20 minutes with the same lady working on both of us. We then got our shellac manicures. The female technician did my manicure and cured the gel polish for random amounts of time, not bothering to use the timer on the UV device at any point. My polish chipped off that same day and my sister's had totally peeled off by the next day. It was ridiculous. I got a refund for Groupon and I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Buyer Beware! Awful Nail Salon and Rude People! Avoid at All Costs!! I purchased two of these Groupons to take my bff to get a pedicure. We made an appointment and got there about 5 minutes early. They were rude when we walked in and just pointed to the polish selections. We picked our colors and then sat down. The lady then yelled across the room about needing our groupon now. I took her my phone and she redeemed them without a word. We then sat some more. Finally 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment time they started the water for our pedicures. When we asked to sit next to each other they acted put out. We then sat in the water for another 15 minutes being ignored. Then one guy came over and started to do both of our pedicures at the same time. Thank goodness this happened with my bff because I know she doesn't have feet fungus. He went from one bowl to another not changing gloves or cleaning his hands. Then the rude lady came and started to give me a sub-par pedicure and acted put out the whole time. She was rough and it was far from relaxing. The water in my bowl was cold and I asked her to warm it up and she said "I just about done, you wait". Ummm...no thank you, I'm getting cold. She refused to warm my water up. Then before finishing my friend the gentleman stopped doing her pedicure and went to help a regular customer. The grumpy lady then went back and forth painting my toes and my friends toes. We then sat for a few minutes and she came back and said you done...leave now. I told her I didn't think my toes would be dry and I didn't have sandals to put on. I asked if they had the disposable sandals to wear out. She said not an slipped my ballet flats on. We left and when I got to my car half of the polish on my toes had rubbed off on the inside of my shoes because they weren't dry. I chose not to go back in because of how rude they were. They were not busy and my cousin and I got right in at our appointment time. They were courteous and did an excellent job. After reading the reviews I was nervous but I ended up being very pleased with everything. My cousin did not have a Groupon and her cost was $65 for a french shellac manicure and spa pedicure which I thought sounded very expensive but after asking around that is about what other salons in the area are charging.
