More than satisfied! Mom & I needed pedicures today. We called to see if they would take walk-ins. They were more than happy to accommodate our needs. Pleasant people. Clean place. Tom did moms nails, her comment was "he's so meticulous, it's like he's an artist". He really cares, you can tell. Mom smudged her par-dry nail getting into the car & they came out to the lot to fix her nail in the car. Moms mobility issues would have just led to another smudge if she tried to go back inside, so it was much appreciated that they came out to help us. Diane did my pedicure. Beyond a zero!! Walked in place is quiet like could hear a pin drop. 1 of the 15 pedicure seats was taken. They sit me right beside the other person. Like not even a seat between us. Place is dirty and dusty. Never asked what pedicure I wanted. 15 mins later she charged 32 and told me I could go. No soaking, massage weak, like my child could do better. Feel like I shouldn't have been charged more the $15 considering on the menu it said 1 hour not 15 min!! Seriously paid $32 to have my toes painted.... Do not waste you time or money. Don't be fooled by the name. After 3 days my manicure looks like post quarantine nails. My cuticles are catching every fiber of a sweater when I put it on. My polish has chipped on almost all fingers. During my procedure it felt more like a clinic than a spa. They were busy so I can tell they were rushing. When the tech was cutting my toes nails, it barely had time to soak, my nail was so hard that I could feel it crack under pressure of the cutters. When I requested the tech to file my nails some more due to the jagged edges, he made muttering comments. My simple mani pedi cost $51 which was absurd for the final results. My daughter had requested acrylic nails and was recommended to do dip nails instead. It lasted 3 whole days before the top coat just popped off. Her set was $60+$30 for pedi. Final thought: of all the salons I have been to nation wide this will fall in my lowest 10 . I can't believe this was a family member suggestion, maybe her tech is the exception. read more

My gel came off of one my toes after two days. I went to get it fixed and while I was waiting another woman came in with the same problem. I had been waiting 5 minutes and they worked on her first and she was done before I was. If there was something else happening then I wish they would have communicated to me as my partner and baby were waiting in the car. Super unprofessional place and very awkward environment with no music playing, just the sound of nails being clipped and silence. I don't usually leave bad reviews but costumer service should be priority. Also when I originally came the first time, the woman got oil all over my leather sandals and they're stained now. If you want acrylic nails done, save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. I've never had such an awful experience like this before. I had scheduled an appointment for 5 PM that day and they had confirmed that they were able to do acrylics. I got there and it had been a little busy but they had me pick out my colors and I took a seat. I waited for about 20 minutes before getting me in. I showed the guy a picture of what I wanted (coffin style with solid colors, no designs) and he had barely even acknowledged me and I was asking if it was possible to get a matte finish but he didn't say anthing me but the lady at the station behind him answered for him when it was evident he wasn't going to answer. So I said "thank you" and waited on him to finish setting up. As he was setting up, three of the workers had come up behind him and were staring and talking/laughing at me. He didn't even prep my nails. He just grabbed the nail glue and started grabbing random nails that were too big and tried glueing them on but none of them were sticking cause they were to big but he just kept putting layer after layer of glue both on my nail and the acrylic nail. After 10-15 minutes of this, he finally got all the nails on. One of the girl nail techs came up and switched off with him and took off 4 of the nails because they weren't sticking or the right sizes. Once she gets the right nails on, I was starting to think that things were looking up and might not be so bad. I was very wrong. On 4 of my nails she filed only one side and left the other side straight. We spent so much time trying to even out the nails. All my nails were different lengths and thicknesses. She ended up making my finger bleed. By the time we got to the nail polish, I was ready to be done and leave. I did want my nails to be different colors so she worked with me on that and was nice about it but overall my nails looked like a child had done them. I was very unhappy and had left crying. Never going there again and honestly wouldn't ever recommend them to anyone. read more

I was so very disappointed with the last dip service I received at the salon. The person that attempted to do a dip made my nails look like they grew pillows on them and the surface was uneven. Upon returning to correct the bad job they just filed down some of the top layers off but left the bad job without redoing the dip. They also had a very bad attitude by ignoring the customer and not speaking a word of English. I don't know where to start. I was with a friend and we were driving around the city to find a nail shop that could fit us both in. We walked in and they had ample room but had us wait for a few minutes before attending to one of us. At the time my friend and I had opposite needs, I wanted a pedicure and she wanted acrylics. When I tell you that this was the best feeling pedicure in the world, I mean it! Omg I have never felt that good in regards to a foot rub and my toes feeling good. I didn't care if the lady painted the polish all on my skin. That foot rub was magic! I convinced my friend that she needed to get a pedicure which she did. As we switched positions because I also resulted in getting a manicure, everyone was so attentive and so nice. They had their son or nephew in the shop playing around and he was a gem. Since the new ownership the quality of services has plummeted. I went in for a pedicure with a family member and we both were extremely disappointed. I think they forgot the steps of a pedicure. The callous gel and exfoliation took place at the end. The male who took care of my sister looked like he may have done less than 10 pedicures total. He walked away several times and then forgot to put a topcoat on. He used a cuticle trimmer to remove a callous, without doing any scrubbing or allowing a soak. Needless to say her foot was very painful. The male owner wore no mask while in the salon and while doing a pedicure. WONT BE Back!! read more

Went here yesterday to have my acrylics removed. They didn't notice me at first until a customer had to tell them I was there (thanks random lady). They didn't know what I was asking at first but finally sat me down at a table with a bowl of acetone. 15 minutes later the owner came over yelling at the person that sat me down saying she was supposed to file the gel off first. Who knew? Back to the bowl for another 20 minutes. It took this lady about 30 more minutes to file the acrylics off. It was dreadful. Maybe I'm just not used to the process, but my nails looked horrific. She finally got them to a smoother state and went for my cuticles. She made me bleed twice. The polish is already chipping. Wouldn't recommend. It was only $20 for the removal plus manicure which I found fair for the amount of time they spent on me. I will stick to Mani Pedi Me off 119th for my nail needs. read more

I came here to get a fill on my acrylic nails and polish. The short version is It was 415 on a Wednesday and they acted bothered that I came in. Only 2 clients in the salon at the time. Second, they did a really poor job at shaping my nails. They are supposed to be oval. They are not. Third, the polish is lumpy, inconsistent and there are obvious brush strokes. That's besides the polish being all over my cuticles. Forth, this terrible rushed service set me back $40. I'm still trying to figure out for what. I don't recommend going here if you have any sort of expectation in the way of customer service or quality. read more

Came in at 5:10 for a pedicure (note - no information available for hours online). It was busy, looked like two people waiting but not even half the chairs were in use. There were so many things wrong with this experience so I will just start from the beginning. My friend and I made an appointment and showed up promptly. They were busy and we could tell they had a full schedule. Each customer, no matter how busy and booked, should be allotted the same amount of time and attention to detail without being rushed. Don't over book if you are going to just rush through customers because that will leave them unhappy with the results and in turn, they will not be back to give you more business. I picked out my color -- a fuchsia purple-y color, and then one sparkly color to put on my ring finger. I told her what I wanted, which is a pretty common trend. I believed it to be understood by her head nod of affirmation and her moving on to the next step. The paint color wasn't very opaque so it took 4 coats. She rushed so fast through it that paint flicked on my finger skin up by my knuckles and was smeared on my skin around my nail without being cleaned up. She kept bumping the wet paint and painting over it so it looked uneven and gloppy. After applying 4 coats, even to the ring finger that was supposed to have sparkle polish, she went to apply the sparkle coat as she scraped off all the sparkles into the bottle so it left it with clear polish. She looked very confused as if she didn't know there wouldn't be sparkles on my nail if there weren't sparkles on the brush after she scraped them off. I said I would just get a different sparkle color that would be thicker and more opaque. She painted my ring fingers with the new sparkle polish and then continued to put it on my middle finger. No clue where that came from or why she felt the need to do that. I was just too annoyed at this point and the color on my nails was light in one area and dark in another from not letting it dry enough in between coats, smudging, and just lack of care to pay any attention to detail. I felt like she was just rushing to get me out the door -- what's the point in that? Do what you do and do it well. Anyways, I just ended up getting the same color my friend got (her manicure was just okay as well, but much better than mine) to save time and further frustration. When she took my polish off to start the new color, she started putting the base coat on when there were still dark purple polish around my nail bed and in my cuticles. Furthermore she put it on very sloppily like just touching and smearing it on with the brush rather than painting it on in strokes like it's intended to be. At that point I asked to take the cotton ball she had and started taking the rest of the purple polish off myself. I told her I was going to wash my hands, she said I didn't need to even though there was cotton fuzz stuck to my nails. She just did a quick wipe down and called it good. It was still a terrible paint job but at this point I was just cutting my losses. They were shaped ok and cuticles removed, I thought I would just repaint them myself at home. The pics I have are from the day after. You will see where she didn't go to the edge of my nail with each coat, the polish around my cuticle, and the air bubbles. When I went to pay one of the owners rung me up and asked how everything was. I said it was okay. She asked "Just okay?". I said yeah, just okay. Then she proceeded to ask what went wrong and I put most of what I just wrote in a nutshell for her. She said something to the tune of the polish was brand new and had no idea why it wasn't good but she was going to look into it. Whether she does or not I will never know, but hopefully for the sake of her business she starts there even though I don't think it was the polish itself that was terrible....And then maybe also point out to her staff to not rush through the services they provide. read more

Four of us would have been right on top of each other. "Head Guy" felt too important to wear a mask even though all customers and staff did. I'm looking for a a clean place that does a good job, is convenient to my home or work and charges a fair price. I am pleased to say that this salon checks all the boxes. I came in here on a busy Friday afternoon. I called ahead to make sure they had a spot for me. I was a little surprised at how many chairs they have tucked back in this little shop--it's a fairly large salon. My nail tech gave me a wonderfully relaxing pedicure to get my feet ready for spring sandal season. They were not in good shape so this took lots of work--more than just a simple polish. I've gone to this nail salon two times now, the first time was great! The man that did my acrylics was so gentle and really took his time! My nails looked amazing! The second time I went, I believe I had my nails done by the manager? He is the one that usually greets and takes appointments. This is the cleanest and most consistent nail salon I've been to. I've been going here consistently (every 2 weeks) for 3-4 years now, so I have tons of experience. I highly recommend making an appt, as they are often busy - even at times when you might not expect it (say a Tuesday afternoon). Nina and Lee run this shop well. And I'm almost always happy with my services. And that's saying a lot. I'm extremely picky about the shaping of my nails during my manicure and the application of the gel polish. On a rare occasion, I've had a manicure where the gel starts lifting/peeling within a few days and they are always very accommodating to re-do any "problem" nails. The pedicure chairs are awesome, as are the pedicure services. You basically get two massages as part of your pedicure - once when they apply the scrub and then again when they apply lotion. I read a review on here where the lady said she was left in a pedicure chair with her feet soaking in cold water for 25 minutes. To that I say, why didn't you ask someone to run some hot water for you??? As for the left waiting for 25 minutes, I will say that Lee and Nina could use a little improvement in the area of managing appointments and walk-ins. As small business owners, this is their livelihood, so I understand that they don't want to turn away customers. As a result of sometimes taking in more customers than they maybe should, sometimes even if you show up on time for an appointment, you still have to wait (not long, but up to 10-15 minutes). I will admit that as a certified nail tech and someone that has had years of experience giving and receiving manicures and pedicures, I'm harder to please. This place seemed clean, I liked that the gal didn't completely over rush every step of my service (most do), she was very friendly and over all my nails looked nice. But Cutting two different cuticles is NOT acceptable!! As she was improperly buffing, the corner of the buffer cut my skin and I bled a lot. She didn't get the bleeding to stop (because she kept going over the cut area with her fingernail as she polished) so I had blood trapped under the top coat of my shellac polish on two nails and every time my hands got wet for three days after the cut area was SO sore. I asked her to please stop irritating the cuts further by going over them every time she was cleaning up polish on the skin In-between each coat and her excuse was that I must have thin blood. It is never ok to cut someone and a huge No-no. I would have given a client a huge discount if I did this and would have apologized multiple times and not polished while it was still bleeding a lot! TERRIBLE!! I was left waiting with my feet in cold water for 25 minutes. Then the owner (what I assume was the owner) decided to start my pedicure by shoving the nail clipper into my toe. He then only scrubs my right foot and half assed the second one, then throws every instrument he used into the water while I was soaking my feet. Then proceeds to file my skin and didn't even touch my toe nail. He didn't buff my nails because he filed my skin until it was raw instead. Great service. They seem pretty popular, I went without an appointment on a Saturday morning and was told the wait time was an hour because they were expecting a large group. I made an appointment and came back later in the day and had no wait even though I showed up a little early. I was in and out in about an hour. Good selection of OPI polish and a massage chair, two of my go to items for a pedicure. The woman who did my pedicure did a great job, we had a nice chat but it wouldn't have been a big deal if I had chosen to grab a magazine to read instead. My heels haven't looked this nice for a while, I am so happy. She did a nice salt scrub thing for my legs from the knee down too. And the price was very reasonable. I will be going back. read more
