I'm so bummed cause this place seemed awesome. Sadly, their return policy is ABSURD. My BF tried to return an item he bought only a few weeks later, and they offered him under $5 for an item that he paid $30 for. I bought a tank top which is packaged in a sealed bag so you cannot try it on in the store (because you'd be opening the packaging). I took a chance and bought it, figuring I could return/exchange if it didn't fit well. WRONG. Can't return it even with original packaging and receipt, because they count these tank tops count as "undergarments." They compared it to returning underwear...but it's a tank top that has never been worn or washed. UNIQLO: either let your customers try on the clothes in-store and TELL them that it's final sale, or allow the return of unworn, unwashed tops! Like I said, absurd return policy! read more

Have been a fan of UNIQLO for years and they have great items, but this store is a disappointment. Doesn't have a vast selection of items and their signature T-Shirts aren't available here for adults. On top of this, customer service is terrible (which is so NOT UNIQLO!). This time, they gave out wrong information about alterations. This isn't the first time I've had a problem at this particular store. The first time I went to the store, the woman in the fitting room was incredibly rude - to the point where I took my pants to get altered at the Santa Monica store, which was problem free. Have also been to the Beverly Center store with no problems, so it seems like the problems are solely at this store, at least for me. To make things worse, they overcharged me on an item, and I had to call the 877 number on the receipt. The operator - Brittany - claimed that the computer doesn't make mistakes, but after checking it out, it turns out that the system did make a mistake. Finally, they were unable to give out the store phone number so I could follow up with the store. I guess that is company policy. I was told that even if an item is forgotten in the store, there is no way to contact the store directly and that you'd have to call the 877 number and they'd send a message to the store. "Their sales associates are too busy to take calls (or something very similar to this)," is what I was told. This wasn't great information, and I hope the service at UNIQLO isn't slipping. Updating my review from last time because I recently had a very negative experience. I walked into the store with some items to return from UNIQLO's online store. They had a huge "end of season" sale. Many items looked different or didn't fit well. I walk up to the sales associate (Jyra), and I tell her I'm here to return some clothes I bought online. Well...immediately she gives me a dirty look of dissatisfaction and says "all of this?" She then proceeds to make the appropriate returns. The entire time, she was being quite unprofessional. She complained to me about how people make too many returns, which makes the store lose money. She said the store might not exist anymore because of online returns. (I am definitely contributing to the cause of a store's closing because I returned some clothes...-_-) She then asks me to fill out a survey and continues to vent/rant about Ecommerce. Look, I understand that you're personally unhappy, but talking to a customer instead of UNIQLO management is just very unprofessional. At the end, she bowed to me....she BOWED???? What a racist thing to do. Is this her way of apologizing to me?? And then she bowed again and said thank you. I highly doubt she does this for every customer. I am a 2nd generation Korean-American who speaks English in the same way as any other U.S. native. It's ridiculous that she would find the need to bow to me. Conclusion: I love uniqlo! I've been wearing their clothes since 2007 (when I used to visit NY). Their ultra stretch jeans are my favorite. They have great quality clothes & offer items for a good price. However, I do not like this store. I think I will just make my way over to the flagship store in Beverly Center instead of running the risk of being bowed to again at this location. Pros: great clothes, free parking, pretty close to center of the mall, ultra stretch jeans Cons: weird customer service (at least on my most recent visit), non hassle free returns Didn't give only 1 star because it's one of my favorite brands. I went there yesterday to get a pair of shorts. The next day they had already put it in their stock room. I asked if I could get them the girl there was completely unhelpful and said they only go there after hours. She didn't even offer to put them on hold the next day or anything. I didn't buy anything from Uniqlo, but the store layout reminded me of GAP. The prices are obviously lower, so it's almost like a GAP meets H&M. If you need some basic items like tshirts, sweat pants, a blazer or even tights, this is a good place to go. I'm not entirely sure about the sizing, but given that their clothes are manufactured overseas and aren't made to US sizing, sizes will run smaller so you may need to wear a larger size. read more

If I could give this Uniqlo location zero stars I would... compared to the NY store locations the Glendale Galleria location felt like a generic Gap store. None of the Uniqlo-ness is on display or any of the merchandise that makes Uniqlo something neat to shop at let alone make a special trip to experience. Feels like they just wanted to have a west coast location that catered to whatever was being pushed in their daily email adverts. Felt more like a pop up and not in a good way. Sad that L.A. can't have a better Uniqlo experience than this old navy pretending to be a uniqlo. read more

I love many Uniqlo items but this is a really limited store with not very much stock. I called the store number listed to put on hold a pair of chinos that were on the website for my sister to pick up since I needed them immediately for a work emergency. The customer service person spoke with a thick accent that was hard to understand and informed me that they didn't hold items, and "you have to go to the store, find the item, and pay for it at the end." Really? Ugh. I'm considering never coming again since it's not worth it especially not for a special trip there. Thanks for nothing, Uniqlo! read more

Just bought exactly the same pants like last time, but the staff said it would cost me $5 for alteration (it was free last time). And when I decided to pay for it, she told me I have to come back and pick it up on Tuesday (it was done in 1 hour last time). I asked if she can help me to find one that I can get the alteration done today, she asked me to check it out by myself. If you like Uniquo, you should go to other stores that provide better service. read more

I personally believe this place deserves 5 stars. Quality to value ratio is incredible. True, the other locations have more selection, BUT you have all the basics at this location and a good variety of jeans. Fit is pretty good, mostly for slim builds. TIP: sale items rotate every Sunday. read more

I love Uniqlo! Not only are their clothes and fashion top notch and functional, but the customer service is superb. If you can't find something, just ask and they will quickly locate it for you. And, you can't beat free in-store tailoring (for pants). read more

Always liked the new york stores, mostly for simple t-shirts for working out. Was excited for one to come in LA, but the glendale location is always super frustrating. Their t-shirts come in about four colors - every time i go they're always out of stock. I tried to stay away from the opening weekend as I know there will be hoardes of people who will come to the store and understandably so, but i went on the second day of operation anyway. Still crowded but came later, close to store closing hour and there were no lines anymore. Managed to get a pair of jeans, got it hemmed, and got the ubiquitous ultra light down vest for nippy SoCal fall evenings, and a fleece jacket. PROS: Organized, efficient. GOOD-mannered staff ASIAN SIZES!!! - though there's larger sizes for bigger and taller Americans. VERY functional style. CAUTION: Know that once your pants get hemmed, it is final sale, so make sure you get the exact length! Once you open prepackaged items (T-shirts etc.) you are not able to return them anymore. The inattention of American brands to the smaller sized set of the population is the gain of UNIQLO. Hemming pants onsite is super easy, though you have to come back to pick up your item. UNIQLO style is streamlined, modern, and functional. read more

Be cautious when you return stuff here. I purchased some items online and returned a few pieces. When I made the purchase, I paid 9% sales tax. When I got refunded, they only refunded me 1.81% sales tax on two pieces and .9% on the other two. The amount is minimal but it is the principal. I submitted both my original and my return receipt to corporate and it has taken over a week and my issue is still not resolved. This should've been resolved right away because you can clearly see based on both receipts the difference in taxes I paid and what I got refunded. Makes me wonder how many other people got screwed on their online returns. read more

The clothes here aren't bad. They have nice jeans that fit a petite person. The clothes are kind of fashion forward. If you plan to shop in here long beware there are no chairs for shoppers to sit. It would be nice if they had seats for people that are waiting. There is no seats outside the fitting room. Just be prepared to stand a lot if you're waiting for someone. Some of the employees are rude. I ask a question regarding the long sleeve shirts and they didn't answer my question. And they gave me attitude. Other uniqlo employees at other stores aren't rude like the one here. read more

There was an opportunity for me to come here, so, I took it. When I found this place on the first floor of the mall, I only saw a few people in there, which was good for me to walk around without having a bump into others. There were no workers in front of the store, and for that, I was greeted, but I was happy to find an item I wanted to get for a birthday gift. If you download the Uniqlo App, you will get $3 off of your bill. I learned this from a female worker which was great, however, I asked her for help to find something and she only directed me where to go in a kind manner. I thought she would go look for it for me, but no, it was not there, but it was not a problem. A male worker helped me out with the App and it turned out well. This place is not as popular as the one in Arcadia. My driver gave me the opportunity of giving me a ride to come here for the first time to explore the mall. I might be back to see the rest of it if I can. read more
