Posted with review. I've got two tanks. White with red dots too. 07/20/26

Uniqlo is such a clean customer service oriented business model. I always visit to see the latest styles. I wear my tank tops to sleep in during the summer. I wear my long sleeve shirts in winter. The material is soft and never fades or gets funky out of shape after many washes. I'm recommending.

Came down for Uniqlo Bryant Park's store opening. Have been a big fan of Uniqlo, although in the past couple years their prices have gone significantly up considerably for what you get, and they seem to blend synthetic materials into many items these days. (I will buy almost entirely natural fiber products.) Hoped for some great deals during Opening Weekend. Arrived before the opening and the line stretched around the block. (Note - The line seemed smaller than the 1st H&M's NYC Grand Opening years ago, but this isn't the first Uniqlo.) Staff handed out bagels, cream cheese, coffee and hand warmers, plus a goodie bag with Uniqlo post-its and a pen when you entered. This Bryant Park location is only 2 floors, smaller than their Global Flagship down the street at 53rd St, where I normally go to shop or pick up online orders. That being said, Uniqlo has done more to localize the store, one of three new NYC locations - the others Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and Union Square. Here you'll find: Decorated with superb mid-century sculptures from Harry Bertoia (the 2nd floor copper, bronze and nickel screen and "The Cloud" wire sculpture), a Midtown City Guide, and MTA subway graphics T-shirts and totes. One of Uniqlo's big things is collabs with artists and designers. I did walk out with a purchase: a "Cashmere" (only 9%) long sleeve turtleneck shirt for under $20. Although thin, it's been warm. I've received a lot of complements. Overall, there are many times this location would be more convenient for online pick-up, but I sense the 53rd Street store selection is so big that I'd in-person shop there more.

She pulled some beautiful pieces for me and worked with me to figure out a look. It was really nice to have a professional tell me what work best for me and then give me things to wear that actually look right on my shape. I cannot think her enough! I ordered a beautiful pair of black Foster pants. They are so comfy and versatile thanks to the crop option. I can't wait to get them. Lauren put it the other pieces I'm thinking about in my wish list so I can order them later (like the Dietritch Jacket - that's an absolute must!). This was such a great experience, I'm really happy I visited the LA pop up and spent time trying on such a nice clothes. Thank you Lauren for your patience and style advice! I'm already looking forward to adding more MM.LaFleur pieces to my closet!

Many of the items were missing buttons and they don't come with replacements. The store is quite small and has limited inventory, as well. If anything, it may be worth going in to confirm your sizing, but I'd rather shop at another boutique or online. I ended up having to go through corporate for a resolution for an item that ripped right after I bought it, after this boutique never returned my calls and was unhelpful and curt over the phone when I finally reached them. The experience and quality is H&M, but the pricing is at a premium. While I'll probably buy from MM la fleur again, it won't be at this boutique, which is a shame because it's the closest to my home and work.

I love Muji. I am not much of a shopper. But if I walk by a Muji and I have a moment, I will stop…read morein. I try to resist impulse buys. I am confident, however, I will find something that appeals to my frugality. I do not know if Muji invented the concept of a brand that is not a brand, in the sense of not advertising itself, which ironically achieves its own iconic minimalist status. They have perfected it though. Last time, I got their 90 degree socks. I actually have concluded it is not a gimmick. I have some socks that slip off, at the heel, in particular if I wear them with runnig shoes. These do not. Everything I have acquired from Muji has gone into my regular rotation. The design is good, the quality is there, and the prices are not outrageous. So I commend Muji to you if you have a similar sense of not wanting to want, but being willing to browse. I'm confident you will find something on every visit.

If I could rate Muji's customer service separately from its products, it would be one star…read more The problem isn't that mistakes happen--it's how Muji handles them. My order arrived with missing items despite paying oversized shipping and waiting days for delivery. Since then, I've been stuck in an endless cycle of apologies with almost no action. After nearly a week of emailing back and forth, I was asked to provide my order details again. Why? The entire email trail already contains everything they need. Instead of reviewing the case history, each representative seems to start from scratch, wasting the customer's time because they can't be bothered to read their own correspondence. Muji has mastered the art of apologizing without actually resolving anything. Every response is filled with sympathy and promises to "look into it," yet there is no urgency whatsoever to fix a mistake that was entirely their responsibility. Once they have your money, you're left waiting while your case sits in limbo. For a company that promotes quality and simplicity, their customer service is anything but. Poor communication, zero ownership, endless delays, and customers forced to repeatedly chase for updates. Paying extra for oversized shipping clearly doesn't translate to better service when something goes wrong. If you're lucky enough to receive your order intact, you'll probably have a good experience. But if there's a problem, don't expect Muji to treat it like a priority. Based on my experience, their customer service is all apologies and no accountability.
